So is there anyone that could realistically beat the Burgerland or is this just a huge waste of time? Also, how does it work? Do they have 3 game series after the group stages or is it a 1 game only thing until the end?

3 stages:
- 1st stage is 4 teams groups, each team play against each others (32 team in total, 16 qualify)
- 2nd stage is top 2 teams of groups X & Y merging to form group Z, teams from group X play against teams from group Y (8 qualify)
- 3rd stage is regular elimination games starting from quarter finals

Also, yeah, USA are still the huge favorite to win it even with a 3rd team.

Well, let's be honnest, it's made easier for them as there's not much concurrence in the Americas zone, as it's pretty much USA + Argentina + Brazil + Canada + Puerto Rico + Dominican Republic. Then you have Venezuela and Mexico that battle with each others for the last spot. It means that to not qualify, you have to be really shit.

Well, they get naturalized at birth, since they're born here. Last naturalized player we had was Alin Koffi I think. We has numerous naturalized US players in the 80s and 90s though (like George Brosterhous, Bill Cain, Willie Redden, Crawford Palmer..., but it was much harder to get passport back then, you had to play for several years in the country (unlike noawadays where you can get random passports without even having ever put a foot in said country).

Countries aren't ethnostates. If they were every ethnicity would have their own country. If they're born in France, they're French. Whether purists like it or not. So fuck anyone giving France shit for having actual French born players, even though they might not be white.
