amazing thread
every Liverpool supporter on Yea Forums is the epitome of based.
really sad that others don't get to enjoy that feel.
Nothing the scouse do can erase the stain of celebrating a draw against west brom
more than 3 years on and ABLs are still fuming about a draw with West Brom
without that draw and that celebration they would not have won a record sixth champions league title.
Welcome to the Pantheon Kloppo
If I'm counting to myself, I use thumb first.
If I'm gesturing to someone else I use my index finger first.
Slim pickings for ABLs these days.
>tfw have 13
its actually 7 and arguably even less
I'm in Liverpool right now lads. What to do here?
Seething why dont you have sex so it helps you cope with the fact that Madrid has you dilating
well no its just fact that all the titles won under franco are fake
>buying into Barça's propaganda
Franco did more for Barça than he ever did for Madrid. He saved the club from disappearing by gifting them the terrains of Camp Nou, of which they sold a part to pay off some debts. He also sent one of his ministers to a Communist country to personally buy Kubala for them, which would become the first Barcelona legend. Real Madrid was the team of the Republic (thats where the purple colour comes from) and was starting to be good during the republic, but after Franco took over and for a decade, the first and hardest of his regime, Madrid won nothing while Barça did very well.
Truth is Franco didnt even like football and if anything he liked Atletico Aviacion (now Atletico Madrid), which was the team of the army. He of course got close to Barça first and Madrid then, and other clubs, for propaganda reasons.
Barça fans blame Franco because they dont want to blame themselves for their own shortcomings. Losers make excuses.
Go to Manchester
This is all news to me. I apparently have some reading to do. But purple is, historically, a royal or imperial, not a republican, colour isn’t it?
If, as you say, Franco used purple for his republic then it would have been to invoke (if not usurp) the powers of the monarchy.
>Franco used purple for his republic
You really have some reading to do.
Purple is in Spain the colour of the nation/kingdom of León, but the only time it was used in a Spain flag was in the times of the Second Republic, which Franco brought down. Madrid started using a strip of the same colour in the crest shortly after the republic started, at the same time that they retired the crown. It was actually maintained throughout all of Franco's regime and until recently, when Florentino changed it to blue.
I see where I misunderstood about Franco and purple. But my point still stands that the colour is symbolic of a monarchy, not a republic. So for the Spanish “republic” to use purple as its colour is odd.
I use me thumb first, lad
