The only team from the Central that will be a real threat are the Cubs and that's only if they unfuck their offense and bullpen.
But that won't happen.

The Cubs aren't scaring anyone at the moment. The barves, as flawed as they are, are going to push the cubbies shit in.

Their starting rotation outside of Hamels looks to be in form, their offense can put up crocked numbers, the biggest weakness is the bullpen which is an utter shitshow.
If the Cubs can somehow fix that, they will be a threat against any team in the playoffs.

Indians are good, but they need to play a wild card game (oh boy they always are helpful at home ;)), and they would most likely face the astros in a 5 game set. Not like the NL is easier, but you get the idea. Oakland and Tampa are both good teams, and I think oakland gets the edge because they have what they need, along with a sneaky good offense and pitching corp lead by mike fiers of all people

Cleveland has like THE overrated shit of baseball in puig (he’s good but overrated), along with a declining kipnis and a meh outfield. They have a solid infield offense of santana and lindor along with ramierez, but oakland has been so versatile, getting production from all ends from chapman to cahna to pisscotty to even profar. Rays also have a good offense and pitching staff. Indians just got bloated wins from the ALC anyway :^)

In those matchups assuming Houston's at home I sadly think the Stros would sweep it.
Indians have a slight edge over the A's in every area except maybe offense. Rays might do some things but they might be overperforming as we know it. They did a lot of stupid things at the deadline and it's just a matter of time before it backfires.

Bullpens are pretty equal in my eyes with the A’s and Indians

cole's last meaningful series aside from 2018 was in 2013 with the pirates. He got styled on in the 2015 wild card game and was the losing pitcher in game 5 against the cardinals. He also got styled on last year by the red sox.
verlander had his grave danced on last year against the red sox , but he is probably your surest bet.
Greinke is going to get absolutely kek'd on. He was good with the dodgers in the postseason... that's about it
