Checked, Hamildubs. I'm white but I still like Lewis/undeniable he's a brilliant driver. Only thing is MWL is really, really boring. But this year when Max has challenged him it's been great to watch.
Josiah Butler
El ogro de las Americas... Neekeri :D
Asher Kelly
You're allowed to rate and hate at the same time. Dude's had four (soon to be five) titles handed to him on a literally silver platter. All his records are bogus simply because the car he's had for the past six years has been utterly dominant. Like yeah sure he's been better than his teammates, who would be complete nobodies without that car under them. Put him in the Red bull and he gets beat by Verstappen, put him in the Ferrari and he flounders just as much as Vettel. And no, I don't hate that he's black, I hate that he's got the vapid celebrity mindset, complete with the faux-deep faux-"real" act, and the fact that he's super humble in victory but whines nonstop when things aren't 100% perfect.
Brody Diaz
He's not actually being challenged though. Hamilton is still miles ahead than everyone else in the WDC fight. Hamilton getting an occasional second place doesn't matter much to him because he's not consistently beaten by the same driver. Vettel, Buttas, Lekek and AMX take turns grabbing third, second and very rarely first, spreading the points necessary for one driver to challenge for the championship amongst four drivers. I'm not trying to shit on Hamilton, I'm just pointing out how garbage the "f1 is not bori g because we've had one or two not completely boring races" narrative. The tension of Hamilton not getting first place in one race is completely lost when you remember it doesn't mean Jack shit for the championship.
Zachary Garcia
Yeah this. Silverstone is touted as a """"great"""" race but that's because FOM made the right call to all but ignore the fact that it was every bit as severe MWL as Paul Ricard was before it, and focus on the Ferrari-Red bull scrap. But the same could be said for just about any race if the camera crew decided to focus on Kvyat vs Perez or whatever down in 8th or 10th. There's just no real tension when the war's already lost and the battles are just being fought as a courtesy.
Isaac Green

I don't rate Lewis because he disappeared in 2009-2013, he needs an overpowered car and team (mercs have 75% of all wins in V6TH era) to do well. When he is just in a "good" car that nonetheless is a title contender he disappears like Messi during big games.

Slam, like you're trying to break the pedal. Never have driven a open wheel car before, but I've done some track days (novice) and you'd be surprised how much you actually have to brake, and how long you can hold it into a turn. I repeat, novice, so I can't say if F1 drivers do it too, but my guess is yes
Kayden Evans
>markegod 12th RESENTLESS

Why would it? Coming to braking zone 350km/h the aero load is so big they can just slam it in and trust the aero load, then they ease off once the speed drops and DF lessens
Austin Bailey
is CAS ready for f1?
Lucas Hughes
Aero load matters less than the fact that the wheels are spinning faster, which means that there's more force turning the wheels for the brakes to counteract. That's the correct technique in any hard stop on or off race tracks.

Does anyone else feel that Hamilton wins a lot of 'lucky' races?
I know you make your own luck. Nor am I saying Hamilton is untalented and not deserving of his success. But I just feel that he is extremely lucky in many of his wins. Take Hungary just recently, Bottas out qualified him but got a slightly worse start then got that Leclerc related puncture which allowed Hamilton to race unhindered. Or Silverstone. Hamilton was behind Bottas all weekend, but the safety car gifted him track position and he ran off at the front.
I feel like this occurs a lot for him. People are saying that his race pace has made up for his qualifying deficit this year but I feel he also just gets a lot of lucky breaks. We've seen it in past years too. For instance in 2018 Ferrari probably had the better car over the year, but the little touch at Italy which sent Vettel spinning, not Hamilton resulted in the title being over. Or Singapore 2017 in which Ferrari could have taken the championship lead, the three cars ahead of Hamilton all crash into each other and just gift him safe passage through.I don't think his margin over Bottas is anything like the numbers suggest this year, its just Valtteri can't catch a break.

Hamilton was behind Bottas all weekend, but the safety car gifted him track position and he ran off at the front. hamilton from fp on friday knew he had bottas covered motorsportmagazine.com/opinion/f1/2019-british-grand-prix-race-report-hamilton-wins-secret-strategy >After a medium-tyred long-run simulation on Friday that was devastatingly better than anyone else’s (including Bottas’), Hamilton reckoned he had better race pace and way better tyre management. He was not at all as convinced as his team that this was a two-stop race.
>the little touch at Italy which sent Vettel spinning, not Hamilton resulted in the title being over. for every monza there's silverstone, when he was spun by stupid gimi, still recovered from last to fantastic p2

great drivers make their own luck because they are, well, great, and in place to profit when lesser drivers make mistakes, it's as simple as that
>I hate that he's got the vapid celebrity mindset Yep, this is what don't like about him He's my favorite driver overall, but probably not the "best human" on the grid It's not the first time this happens, we already had a period where the best driver (over multiple years) is in the best team and gets his stats enhanced because the team makes everything to help him win Just look at Schumacher's dominant ferrari years and the 1994 cheater car

>i-i'm not racist i s-swear! >i dislike him for his """""""""""""""celebrity mindset""""""""""""""" Isn't it funny that Button famously had a playboy lifestyle yet /f1/ doesn't get butthurt about him. Isn't it funny that champions like Alonso, Vettel and Schumacher have been just as arrogant and conceited as Hamilton (if not more so) and also displayed questionable fashion choices (Alonso's clothing brand, Schumacher's weird necklaces, Vettel's weird hipster haircut a year or two ago), and yet /f1/ doesn't get so butthurt about them?
Wow, it's almost as if there's something different about Hamilton that /f1/ gets triggered by. And COMPLETELY COINCIDENTALLY there are also tons of posts in these threads calling Hamilton a "nigger" or a "neekeri" from the Finnish posters (which means "(derogatory, offensive) a nigger, a person with dark brown skin" according to Wiktionary).
Button isn't relevant because he isn't doing this at present. As someone who was watching in 2000 onwards, I can remember Button getting rekt by the papers, media and indeed Autosport forum members. Would he do so if /f1/ was around then? Yes he would.
Kevin Parker
Who cares. Hamilton will never ever lose a world championship unless someone better than him is his teammate.

Again, it was way, way in the past, so nobody brings it up. Same with Alonso - but few people on here like him full stop. Schumacher was definitely ripped on here when it was present in 2011-2012. Vettel probably was too, but he got shat on enough here during VWL. Again, if something happens in the present, any driver will get ripped for whatever reason. It's not exclusive to Hamilton.

The change was introduced to ensure parity after Mercedes's works team was observed to have access to additional engine performance settings that were not available to their customer teams.[41]
Fuck that shit, I'll straight out admit I'm a racist, but Hamilton being a coon isn't why I dislike him. Hell, plenty of darkies rank within my favourites. I don't dislike Hamilton because he is black. I dislike him because he behaves like a cunt, has the sanctimonious attitude of a heroin addict turned born again Christian with none of the piety or sacrifice, has had the entire English language media dickride him the hardest of any driver since "AAAAR NIGE" (with the exception of James Allen and his Jenson Button body pillow) and has a fanbase of people who said that Schumacher and Prost's stats don't matter when considering the best driver because stats are a poor reflection of a driver, but Poo Senna is god like Senna was. All in all, he is a very good driver that I can't fucking stand, and any attempt to praise him or attack him comes back to "oh you just like him because he is a coon and you are a regressive/oh you just hate him because he is black and you are a conservitard". Just let Poo Senna have his good drives, his retarded mistakes and tilts, and his terrible fucking off track attitude in relative peace.
Well it's not really a beast anymore, it's got an i7 6700HQ, GTX 980M-8GB, 16GB DDR4
Specs are same, but that dont mean everyone have access to the same engine modes as the manufacturer team. Easily doable, just somehow, accidente forget to put it into the documentation how can be enabled, and voila
Don't really see Honda's problem. They can go the way it way previously seen in prev years, to change engine between fps, so they build a pool of new engines in monza

Daniel won two out of their three seasons together (that's only counting the results for both drivers after Max joined the top team in 2016 - Daniel still won that year just counting those results). Last year, when Max got more points, they still got the same number of wins (two each), and Daniel got way more fastest laps (4 vs 2 but it should have been 5 vs 1 - the early flag wave in Canada discounted Daniel's fastest lap but it shouldn't have), and Daniel got two poles, while Max got none. Did Nico leave Mercedes after losing to Lewis in 2013, 2014, and 2015? No, he stayed and fought, and he got his title in 2016. And Daniel had only come second in a season to Max once, while beating him the previous two seasons. So firstly I think it's impossible to say whether Max or Daniel is better since they both got similar results. Daniel beat Max on many, many occasions. They are both top drivers. And secondly: >the team would likely have favoured Max if they were 1-2 in the WDC No, they'd favour whoever was leading in the standings, and only if they were facing competition from other teams in the WDC, to the extent that they felt they had to favour whichever driver was most likely to win the WDC in order to give themselves any chance of winning it as a team. >he wanted to be the alpha driver Well that's stupid because they were in a team of two very good drivers. I don't see why the team would make either of them "number one" when they both had the ability to compete for the WDC, if the car was good enough.
Luis Cooper

Exactly. I mean at Malaysia 2013 they even issued an order to keep Webber in front and let him finish there (of course Seb famously ignored this order, but the team still issued it). Everyone just makes up / buys into this conspiracy theory that Red Bull favoured Max and that's why Daniel left, but I have not seen a single shred of evidence that would support this notion.

Never heard of needle strawberries, apricots and nectarines are my stone fruit of choice cherries too I guess. I had a honeydew pear thing or something the other day, was really good. Blueberries are probably my fav berry then strawberries. Never seen or heard of durian in NZ
Asher Foster
>mfw someone provides watermelon as a fruit option
Blueberries are top tier, especially if you pick them yourself. I've encountered durian quite a few times in Malaysia, so I assumed it was also available in NZ. It stinks to high heaven but I for one think it's delicious. Dragonfruit is really nice too
Oh kek I was thinking of like a long narrow strawberry verity

And the "Rakesh" shit in the first place isn't, you fucking idiot?
Who the fuck is this "Rakesh" and why the fuck do people in this thread keep mentioning this person?
Leo Lopez
For him he would have a lot of trouble with security of some description then a nice legal case For the car they wouldn't start it and would clean out the fuel tank.
Also 500, let's get a new thread and leave the shit in here lads
James Young
What shit? Your shit claiming that New Zealand is ruled by the iron fist of Queen Liz?
Christopher Anderson
Honestly though, when is Rakesh?
Chase Ward
Factually it is, the ruler of NZ is the Queen. Just like the UK we have a monarch and a parliament. Because technically we are a still colony of the UK.
Samuel Perez
...
Isaiah Miller
And just like the UK, NZ is a parliamentary democracy where the Queen has zero power.
Tyler Williams
But are both constitutional monarchies which gives the monarch at the time limited power, such as declaring war iirc
Adam Ortiz
Pretty sure she absolutely doesn't have that power, in practice, at all. The monarchy didn't declare war on Germany in 1939 - the government did.
