The Braves have signed free agent SS Adeiny Hechavarria to a major league contract and recalled RHP Bryse Wilson.
IF Johan Camargo and OF Adam Duvall have been optioned to AAA Gwinnett to make room. To make room on the 40-man roster, RHP Wes Parsons was designated for assignment.
Hechavarria is known for above average defense at the keystone position. He hit .204/.252/.359 for the Mets in 60 games before being released this week. Lifetime he has hit .252/.288/.346 in an 8-year career mostly spent with the Miami Marlins. In that time he has 20 Defensive Runs Saved to his credit, good for 15th among all shortstops the last 8 seasons.

This is about as Braves as a Braves game gets this season. GJ bullpen, you're awful.
dodgers bullpen is trash too. braves offense is just not good enough to win anything
Second best offense in the NL, behind the Dodgers. The offense hasn't been the issue all year.
the rest of the NL is a nonfactor and doesnt matter. you have to put up your offense against AL offenses. only the dodgers can compete offensively with the top AL teams year-to-year. and the dodgers OPS+ is way more than the braves and mets
AL teams are going to have higher overall offensive stats, and the NL doesn't play enough games with the DH to get a large enough sample size to effectively compare them.
Braves are 6-5 vs. interleague opps whereas Dodgers are 3-6 though. That's still not any kind of stat to rely on for future projections, but the suggestion that the Braves offense is the problem isn't one rooted in reality.

OPS+ is logarithmic. 100 is average. braves are 102. they're average offensively. braves offense isn't good enough to make up for their garbage bullpen like the dodgers offense does for their garbage bullpen.
a ~10 game interleague sample size means nothing. you said so yourself so idk why you included it. miami blew out the dodgers yesterday, that one game is 1/10th your sample size. baseball only means shit over 162 games then postseason is a crapshoot and hoping your bullpen (most volatile thing in the game) isn't trash at an inopportune time
