footy fags, position did you play?
Footy fags, position did you play?
striker or defender
Striker or Wing
Left back, in the changing room.
Center Mid.
right back or centre back
holding midfielder or a poaching striker because although i love the game, i have asthma. running doesn't suit me.
Left bench. Also, water boy.
I used to play the Thomas Müller role
high iq regista
CAM
i did whatever roy keane did because i was an angry young man
Goalkeeper, the position of patricians.
Ahhh, a man of intelligence and tact I see.
left-back.
midfield because I'm fast and wanted >muh goals stats, but I really should have played Left Back. Didn't realize it until after college when it was too late.
I think I only scored like ~6 times in my entire college career. I wasn't a goal scorer
Free role. Like Messi.
t.jack grealish
Second Striker, but became a poacher
how are you, mohamed?
Defensive midfielder
Kind of a playmaker DM, would sit back in our midfield 3 with one of the CM's on my left and one on my right, but would often make driving runs and shoot, scored a few blooters. Stopped playing my second year of college because I realized there was no point in continuing for the sake of my career.
Left-back defender, right-back defender or defensive midfield. Shit technique and not pressing-resistant at all, but good runner with decent defending skills, occasional blooters and good heading.
Centre back, I was the Van Dijk of my high school team. Eventually got to be the captain, but it was more because of my discipline and work rate than me being respected by my teammates, which were cunts to me and didn't like me. Quit the footy team because of it and became an unathletic smoker lardass lmao
Joshua Kimmich/Victor Moses role
what mls team do you play for pal?
classic Right Midfielder or classic 10
nowdays more like RB
Striker but also CAM sometimes because of my otherworldly dribbling skills and vision
LW or CM
Left back because I’m lefty
Anywhere on right hand side or defensive mid, played some CAM when our main lad was injured for abit.
my passing and vision are unironically above average but my coach would put me always as a right back or defensive mid because he was a dumb cunt and the kid he wanted to put as a CAM was a dribble babby
even after i scored a golazo while playing in a more forward position he would still put me in defense
fucking dumb cunt
6 or 10 or 9, all depending on who can be arsed to turn up. I hate playing up front and I suck at it
i played on/off-bench striker because i was shithouse and the team couldnt afford fuckups in midfield or defense
basically modeled my game around inzaghi. i was lazy as shit but i had solid positioning and good finishing technique.
CB until my manlet genes started transcribing and translating. I have transitioned into winger in my short stint in an adult team.
tfw australian winger
Center forward in a front 3. I was a tap-in machine, the wingers and midfield did all the work. I even won a few prizes for "best forward". Gradually got shit, perma-benched and finally quit.
that was my same trajectory. brains but lacking athleticism in the long run.
LB and CB
Segundo Volante
I was better at the back desu. Winger was just a low risk position for the team since the CAMs were actually good.
speak english, alexis
On my MLS youth academy our coach stuck me in as the LB or LCB if we did 3 atb.
Playing as a defender is already tough if you spill your spaghetti a lot like me but fucking Christ, playing as a right footed LB is ridiculously difficult
CB or CM
were you too small too play rugby?
170cm. I don't like sniffing bums.
you're wicked short. but i agree that rugby is too much touching for me. i fell into footy because it's more about finesse.but maybe i just have autism.
LB...left bench
forward and goalie
false box to box 8
manager
inside ramdeuter
striker and midfield
ball playing homosexual keeper
The Golden Balls position.
Keeper when fat bc fat, then got fit and played keeper for real
would you fuck any of the spice girls over becks
Half forward flank
Maybe Scary Spice.
baby spice maybe but i might prefer giving mouth sex to david. although i'd prefer a threesome with victoria.
Attacking Midfielder
10 classic
>too small too play rugby
there is loads of midgets that play rugby
Yeah, when they first got big and I was really young, I liked her the most. The older got I started preferring Ginger and Scary the most. I'm not gay, so I don't think I'd shag or suck Becks off.
Mirroring my political standing: Right Wing.
Left winger, when I was a child I defended better but in my teens I went full attack.
Can also play keeper if you don't mind a short keeper.
Wing or Goalkeeper. Had good reflexes and speed, although not very tall
Enganche
Come at me
midfield maestro. all my coaches said i was the key player on the field. i couldnt finish to save my life because it was too much pressure but i was always able to give the final killer ball to the strikers.
Right wing but spent most of my time on the bench playing zelda and chugging blue gatorade.
well at least your werent left wing
CDM
CB
CM
Was also a great goalie in futsal... never tried outdoor goalie
Holding mid runs a lot though
not if he's holding
i'm OP so i was a pirlo center mid. relied on positioning and distribution.
I was usually played the Goalkeeper because i wanted it to. Anyone else??
Also sometimes defender
right here senpai
real GK nigga hours
Based
Simply based
RB
was GK but i was shit so I became Striker
I played as a right back and i scored in my first match for my team and everybody thought i was actually good. I never scored again until 2 years later in my last match before i moved away.
RW
gk
RB or LW.
RB when I play on strong teams as I'm prob the worst player on the team and am used as a utility player, but when I play on average teams in mediocre competition I play LW/LF and am the source of goals and assists.
LB, LCB, LCM, LM, CAM, LW and GK.
I have no weak foot, at all.
That's actually because you don't have a strong foot...
That's not how it usually works tho.
You are a left footer so you should play
LB and RW. That's how it works now, it isn't 40 years ago, wingers are inversed now.
DEFENSE !
Easier to deal with the dribblebabbies who can only cut inside.
LB and LW
box2box midfielder, but filled in at winger and fullback on either side sometimes.
Ball winning midfielder, I word best with an actual DM behind me that lets me helps the more offensive teammates in the pressing.
I have good passing and vision, but mediocre technique. I'm also terrible in the air.
>not being a goalkeeper
what are you even doing here if you are not mentally ill?
Generally played as a pivot #10 or farther back as a defensive mid depending on what we needed. I used to get thrown all the way forward or all the way back if we were desperate for bodies, though, because of my height.
Hello mr Großkreutz
Zeegelaar?
Centre half forward or full forward. Too fat to play anywhere else
I primarily played basketball but the summer after grade 5 I tried out being a goalkeeper. I swear I was alright for a beginner but the other kids bullied the shit out of me for every little mistake. I quit after 4 matches but I got the last laugh cause no one was willing to play gk and they were forced to take turns.
Left back
Right back
Centre back
Left wing
Right wing
From most to least often depending on who is avaliable. I like the winger positions since my Vision and on the Ball football IQ is not particular high
midfield for half a year, but I sucked
I want to start playing again but I'm fucking trash.
Start in the lowest tier. Its not competitive and most people are shit and or out of shape
Just concentrate on your passes and first touch. Keep calm.
>mfw all the boomers fitter than u
I know that feel la. Do runs during offseason. Train for 5k/10k
5k/10k has very little to do with a actual Match Situation
bed
Left wing, but I have no left foot and would always just cut inside on my right
I played as a right footed left back for half a season and scored 7 goal smugfrog.png
Looking forward to next season the coach might allow me to play as a winger
RB, based my game off Ivanovic, would push up when needed to have an impact but generally stay back
it's a good baseline for trash league fitness Bastian
mid obv, cuz can only dribble
>quit after 4 games
the exalted state of our soccer passion
Realised too late that i was made for the CM role. Fast on the ball but slow on the run. Can run the full 90 mins. Started from a very young age learning how to control the ball in any position. The best passer of any team i had ever been on and somehow always had awareness of my teammates positions
>played as a winger because wanted to be like brother who is a professional footballer and playes LB for some eastern Euro team
>end up getting kicked out of all teams i tried out for because too slow for the wing roles
Bench warmer
GK here. Both footie as futsal.
Kind of the Kuyt role. They'd stick me somewhere that wasn't striker or centre back or central mid, and I just ran all over the field picking up slack where it was needed (to make up for the fact that I was kinda shit). Hard worker, not actually good at scoring but decent enough at positional play.
bull prepper
You'll still annihilate everyone in the pub leagues
Underrated
i was basically Lucio
Right back and this was before very attacking fullbacks were a big thing like they are today. My coach would shout at me if I went past the halfway line. mfw
Right back and centre back.
>man torso and fake tits
Tranny lover confirmed
Goalkeeper, then moved to cdm, cb and LB depending on what was needed. Being flexible meant I started basically every game and did ok. Good defending, speed and strength, reliable but boring and safe passer. Shit creatively, bad crossing and only very rarely scored.
centreback
libero unironically
some right back
Striker
I was le beckenbauer. We had 2-3 good players in our age group of the club. I was the libero, the other guys attacking. And occasionally, when one of them was dead, they stuck me upfront and I got to score some faking goals, too.
>cuck positions:
-GK
>nomalfag positions
-CB
>tryhard position
-Number 10
-RB
>dudebro positions
-Winger
>Chad position
-CF
fairly accurate. I could feel personality shifts the more I played out of position.
In training I played GK and Centre mid a few times but for matches I played winger. Got the nickname Müller because I was the goofy german kid in Ireland.
Best memory is coming on at left wing with 2 minutes to go and assisting our cunt of a striker(who hated me) and bagging us a win, all the lads came over and congratulated me and the striker was being a sourpuss.
I wish I played football more bros. I only quit because the manager had too much faith in the selfish players and the team just didn't click with 3 or 4 divas on it. Wish I was le box to box mid like I was in training, but winger was fine too.
Miss football big time.
Right wing
why don't you just join a new club?
central defender when I didn't feel like running around
box to box midfielder when I felt like running
work gets in the way, all the clubs in the area train on weekdays and I have late shifts at the moment, am dropping this job so I will see what I can do
LB?
Started as right back then moved up as winger and finally midfielder
The Patrician choice
What is your brother's name
>did you play?
>implying i stopped playing Football
I'm still a GK in Amateur Level
Timothy Aurther Anouluwapo plays for Poland united.
Defensive midfield, then I started smoking and stopped running xc and it was center back for me.
Second row, prop forward or loose forward.
I just run everywhere on the field like a fool and get exhausted after 5 minutes because I'm a fat fuck
Goalkeeper or defender because I was so shit
In 5 a side, a brilliant goalie
In 6 a side, a brilliant central defender
In 11 a side, a below average right back or an even more below average defensive mid
Pressing midfielder
Always goalkeeper... Not just because I suck outfield though. Turns out I was okay at it.
I was put in the position when the 2 kids who played as goalies in the schoolyard team didn't come at school that day (I was a defender normally) and I never looked back
always wanted to be a striker
for my pub team, I'm the one who runs at the center backs when the opposition plays out of the back while the rest of the team sits back
Violent midlefielder
First CB, than striker
CB, and the only goal I've ever scored in an official match was an own goal.
I played a false 2. I was a CB, but I would just bomb forward whenever I wanted because I had the pace and stamina to track back without concern. Oddly ended up on the wings more often than in a striker role.
Left wing or goalkeeper
manlet role, just like me
I was the GOAT goalkeeper until I broke my two wrists. Then I become a left wing and I sucked so the dream was over.
I was pretty decent in all positions except for RB. But the ones I was better were left wing and attacking midfielder
Lazy CAM. Like an offensive pirlo. Could attack when I wanted to, could defend when I wanted to, it was the best. Had shit stamina but was gifted with really good passing and nothing else. Sadly had a growth spurt and faggot coach put me as a RB even though I'm left footed and couldn't defend. Lost any joy for playing then even though I became pretty good at defense.
For me it was the psychopath CB getting unnecessary red cards, pissing off the whole team
Me?
I was pretty prolific in the "Kimmich" role.
Left defender. Can't play like shit but I can run and fight and kick the damn ball to the striker.
bumping good thread
Goalkeeping. And was actually pretty good on it.
Attacking midfielder but I was a huge fraud, my passing was alright but I'd miss 90% of sitters, the only thing that made people I was good was constantly doing step overs and kicking the ball forward with the back leg through the opponent's legs, but even when I executed it perfectly I still had no end product
right back, best position to play defending overlaping cuting inside playmaker you can do everything
