the ad break faraway shot of the field is comfy. screeching kawaii-thots is not comfy.
Camden Ross

Naruto are a public school from Tokushima on the island of Shikoku and they are a recent Koshien fixture, having reached the semis of 2013 and 2016 Summer Koshien.
Sendai Ikuei are a koshien powerhouse from Miyagi prefecture in northern Japan. Their school just happens to be walking distance from the stadium of the Rakuten Eagles and as such, they have some history of sending players to the Eagles. They reached the 2015 Koshien final but have never won Koshien. The star player for that 2015 team is current Marines infielder Taiga Hirasawa.
Narashino are a public school from the Kanto prefecture of Chiba (which borders Tokyo from the east). They are a semi-regular attendant of Koshien, winning Summer Koshien twice in 1967 and 1975. They were the finalists for Spring Koshien this year (where they lost to Toho who have not qualified for this year's summer koshien). Their most famous alumni are Masayuki Kakefu ("Mr Tiger", Hanshin Tigers legend) Kazuya Fukuura (Long-time Marines infielder, recently reached 2000 hits in npb)
Tsuruoka Higashi are a private school from Yamagata prefecture in Northern Japan. This is their fourth appearance since 2011, but they have never made it past the third round in their previous Koshien appearances.
Kanto Daiichi are a private school from East Tokyo (which has traditionally been the weaker Tokyo region). They are a relatively recent Koshien fixture who famously made the 2015 Summer semis with Louis Okoye (Half-black Eagles Outfielder).
Kumamoto Kogyo are a public school from Kumamoto (Kyushu) and are one of the few traditional powerhouse public schools, who famously lost a very close Koshien final in 1996 They have numerous alumni including Masahiro Araki (Longtime Dragons infielder) Tomohiro Maeda (Carp legend)
did that manga ever get translated or get a conclusion?
Wyatt Foster
believe it!
Camden Gomez
Nope on translation. Mangaupdates shows it on 2 volumes with no groups translating it or is it licensed yet. Don't think it will get translated any time soon unless some random user just buys it and just does it him/herself imo, because all the scan groups are interested in for the past decade or so are the latest shounen battle or harem or saccharine shoujo romance series. Recency bias 101.

There was some pop-up going on during the last few minutes of the Ikuei game. Wonder if that had something to do with this typhoon?
Jason Young
i dont noticied it but idk They were talking about thypoon on last few days tho, maybe beacuse of it
today it seems that the 3 games will happen ok, but is possible that the first day of round 3 will be delayed
Connor Baker
the good news for people that dont like the rest days is that beacuse of one of those delays will force the quarters to semis rest day to be cancelled i think
Lucas Wright

Singapure´s Manga de Japan made few translations of some of 4-koma webchapters on its website but the order is very loose that i dont know what part of timeline it fits
>hear new song >search team name with various other keywords so videos of the band come up >listen through multiple videos until i hear it >run title through translator >SLOWDOWN >listen through dozens of songs called slowdown that arent it >put the japanese version of the title in instead in case it's japanese specific >same english titles songs that werent it showing up >japanese versions of those same english songs that werent it >THROW DOWN - marching band motherfuckers
