He met all of his requirements to stay. You don't go to a club that expects silverware and get a blaise attitude of "yo just do your thing mate, it's all good". If he got the hump because he was told "you win this final or you're gone" he won't make it far managing at the top level of clubs and now he can't even go back to Napoli.

People were singing "fuck sarri ball" when he started the same line up every week, the same substitutions, the boring backwards passing every match. That stopped when he finally gave in to the fans and started playing Loftus-Cheek and Hudson-Odoi near the end of the season and it instantly made everything more tolerable.

Pretty much all of managers have gone because of player power or the board. The only managers that have been sacked because of the fans are AVB and Rafa.

I was #sarrin all of last season while the majority of chelsea supporters were saying "fuck sarriball." Chelsea customers are almost as retarded as real madrid customers, the main difference is that real is a legitimately world class club so their customers' unrealistic expectations are at least more understandable.
