>loyalty to a company
and
>new manager tell player that he will not play a lot this season
>be surprised the player switch club

>Why aren't favelados and ngubus, born in the jungle, loyal to souf and norf DC?

>gets told he's not wanted
>leaves for club that do want him
FUCKING MERC

Try almost 20 years ago, OP.

>In the summer of 2001, Campbell's contract expired. Mindful of the Bosman ruling and what happened with Steve McManaman (Britain's first high-profile Bosman related transfer), Tottenham offered him a contract which would have made him the club's highest-ever paid player, but after months of negotiations and several public assurances he would stay at Spurs, Campbell stated his need to leave the club in order to play UEFA Champions League football, with the likes of England manager Sven-Göran Eriksson advising him of such a course. Several top continental clubs expressed interest in signing him, but he joined Arsenal – Tottenham's biggest rivals – on a free transfer. Campbell had previously stated in an interview with Spurs Monthly magazine that he would never play for Arsenal. The move was also unusual as no rumours of a move to Arsenal had been leaked or speculated upon in the media before the press conference revealing his decision, and many journalists in attendance had been led to believe they were there to witness the unveiling of goalkeeper Richard Wright, which would have been a routine sports news story.

>Campbell has been labelled "Judas" by some Spurs supporters. Years later, the anger from Spurs supporters remained. In January 2009, four Tottenham fans were banned from every football ground in England and Wales for three years after being found guilty of chanting an offensive song containing indecent language (with homophobic content and content which some observers interpreted as racist) aimed at Campbell.

Sol is a retarded nigger though, that's a special case

It's far worse than the Luiz move to Arsenal. At least Chelsea got a fee for him. Spurs got fuck all.

>wearing your new shirt but also holding your new shirt
NO NO NO NO NO

Campbell's move was so shocking and atrocious it was etched into football history forever more. It was out of place for its time. The most surprising thing about the Luiz transfer is how no one appears to bat an eyelid, it's just part and parcel of the modern game now. I think the nature of this transfer is the final instance of proof that players literally do not care about loyalty to fans anymore no matter what they've said before.

It's more to do with the fact that he as recently as a week ago had been one of Chelsea's most vocally loyal players, always supporting the youth and women's teams, always seemed proud to be at the club. You'd have expected Willian or even Hudson-Odoi to do something like this but Luiz was seen as one of the blues most dedicated players and a fan favourite

Why would David luiz give a shit about a small club like Chelsea?

Maybe actually set foot in this country for one minute before you go spouting your mouth off about shit like that, dumb cunt.

bigger than Arselele

Arsenal has more soul.

how about i set my foot in your ass, you fucking rentboy?

>loyalty
kek

didnt he leave because lampard and him hate each other?

Arsenal has a beautiful and rich history and also more domestic trophies.

since when were Arsenal and Chelsea huge rivals?

It would be pretty shocking now for one of Spurs' best English players to go to Arsenal. Luiz is none if those things and the rivalry is not as intense.

when the Abramovich era has began

This, luiz was a mercenary in the first place, sol came through spurs academy, it were Wilshere leaving for spurs or Kane leaving for arsenal, would be completely different reaction

no, it's proof that Brazilians have no loyalty, but we already knew about that

Same thing happened with Cech to Arsenal, then Giroud to Chelsea. No reaction. Both got clapped at their respective away games I believe. These were well-liked players who'd played for these clubs for years, and were rivals. Cech was being pushed out in favour of Courtois, and basically stated his reasons for choosing Arsenal as "I wanted to still live in London". Giroud wanted to leave so that he could get game time for the world cup. Why Chelsea? Possibly a similar reason to Cech. Quality of life.

Top club footballers don't have loyalty, they are their own brand. At the same time, clubs have become corporations. The 11 guys on the pitch can be any other 11 guys; just a rotating band of commodities. It's become like a guy who works at Audi goes to work at Mercedes. Oh well. Hans was getting pushed out for Otto, the young, up-and-coming engineer; we're happy to see him go and be able to be useful elsewhere.

Also, Luiz, Cech, and Giroud were all over 30. We don't celebrate our club legends anymore. Once they get old or injured, we just toss them away. Everyone (footballers, clubs, fans) has gotten more selfish and self-absorbed. If they're not winning for us, then get them out.

Maybe the media has influenced this? When I was young, I didn't actually know Man Utd's players. I knew a couple like Beckham and Yorke, but overall they were just a bunch of red evil pricks. Meanwhile, I studied the backpage of those few Arsenal programmes I had, learning every name and kit number. Now in 2019 I have apparently accumulated enough knowledge about Man Utd by osmosis, that I can actually think of them as human beings. I was sympathetic to Cech coming to the good side because he cared about his children not having to move school. I should not know about Petr Cech's homelife. The media has made these creatures into human beings and it makes it hard not to sympathize with them when they make a decision like this.

Although, Ashley Cole is still a cunt.

>implying italia isn't the european favela

You're a poor piece of shit, chile is a better place to live than you, faggot

t. Never been to Chile or Italy

Yeah fuck humanizing them.
I want to rage at them and not hold back because they're nice in real life.

>footballing loyalty
Come on man, it's not the 1880's anymore.

t.arsekek, me still laughing at 4-1

this, though luiz was always a cunt and only appealed to retarded teenagers among the chelsea fanbase

hahaha based Sol making pathetic whiteoids seethe

based

Arsenal and Chelsea are not real "rivals".
Worse than any of those 3 switches was when RvP went to Manure.
Also, Cech've been shite for Arse.

How many players actually play for a team they grew up supporting?

The worst was Ashley Cole forcing a move to Chelsea, because he was a lifelong Arsenal fan

>there aren’t many of us that stay at a club in this day and age for 10 years, especially the club you’ve been brought up with and you support

Attached: giphy (16).gif (480x360, 1.45M)

I was thinking about the most recent ones.
RvP was "Arsenal Fan No 1" too, you know.

Mark noble is shit though.

>A mercenary is a mercenary
:OO fugging benis amirite

But it's OK when Ashley Cole does it.
And Cech.
And Fabregas.
And Giroud.

>Lampard literally said he did not force a move, go on strike or anything, he was just told he'd be playing very few games and offered him a chance to move
>Luiz said he'd go to Arsenal
>Lampard knows Luiz at Arsenal won't make them Top 4
>Lampard looks like a good guy and you don't have Luiz sulking in a room because he isn't playing
Grimmest fucking shit.

Also Grealish. Just something about us claret and blues la'. Loyal af.

And Gallas
And Benayoun
And Anelka

That's all of them I think.

Sol is absolutely fucking based

>dreamcast sponsor
holy fucking based

He is 32 and didn’t want to fight for his place. Frank said right from the start nobody has a right to start and they have to earn it. I’m sad to see him go to Arsenal but if he isn’t willing to give everything for the club it’s a good thing he is gone and can’t make the dressing room toxic.

And Emmanuel Petit

Eddie Nketiah

Ah yes.

Does Youth really count? Like saying Kane counts for Arse -> Spurs.

>Does Youth really count?
Probably not, but I've seen some Arsenal fans talking shit about it in the past.

He never had the speed to recover. For example, despite making as many tackles and passes as Drinkwater in Leicester's winning season, he got dribbled past as many times as Fabregas.

Why would luiz be loyal to Chelsea?

There are plenty of better examples

/thread

>what is context

retard

Why should David Luiz be loyal? He's not even English. The Premier League is owned by foreigners, played by foreigners and supported by foreigners.

luiz never struck me as someone who'd give up past 30 and coast along till retirement.
But then again he is brazilian

"Sol, Sol wherever you may be,
You're on the verge of lunacy,
And we won't give a fuck when you're hanging from a tree,
You judas cunt with HIV"

Also, see Figo and the pigs head

>what is Figo to Madrid

Did anyone give a shit when Owen went to United?

>Arse and Chelsea aren't that big of a rival
>Luiz is from fucking Brazil and it's not like he was a foreign legend like Drogba or Henry
Not really that much of an issue desu.

Who is chelsea's biggest rival then?

They don't have a relevant one since they're a small club

Its Fulham.

t. chelshit, a classic oil club without history

B&R. I can probably name loyal monkeys with one hand like silvinho. It all started with romario.

yes, bc shitalians are super loyal, just look at pirlo.
