racist tweet aimed at Liverpool's Egyptian striker Mo Salah is being investigated by police.
The message, which included a mocked-up image of the footballer, was sent on Wednesday afternoon before being shared by others, said Merseyside Police.
"Hate crime in any guise will not be tolerated and those who use the internet to target others, and who commit a criminal offence such as hate crime in doing so, need to understand that they are not beyond the law."
Millwall are set to use undercover staff to gather evidence on any racist or discriminatory behaviour by their fans after four incidents at the club in 13 months. Stewards with body cameras will also be deployed.
It follows sanctions imposed on the south London club last week for racist chanting at their FA Cup match against Everton in January.

It's only a matter of time before they start dealing out points deductions and stadium closures to teams who have racist incidents, so insisting on acting like shits will just get your club relegated and publicly humiliated.
