I was really hoping we never saw what was in the cage. Nothing can live up to your imagination. Before the cage ran its course someone could smash/squish it and you could have blood packs in it causing it to look like it died. This would incense Rowan and cause an instant blood fued. Now he's a big scary angry monster looking for revenge of his dead best friend.
