I don't even know why they wanted to bank so hard on Canelo-Golovkin 3 happening. There's not that much interest in the matchup that it's going to explode subscription numbers. The first one was exciting because it was two of the absolute best Middleweights, le boogeyman vs the golden goose, it was exciting and fresh. The first one was a draw so there was still interest in a rematch, but the rematch was more of the same except Canelo did a bit better and decisively took it.
Not nearly as much interest in a third fight when Lil' G is so clearly just chasing it for money whilst ducking any top level competition that wants to fight him, which ruins the boogeyman image he had for years.
