And yes that is two teams buttfucked by Florida ranked ahead of Florida

new year new teams new season. florida won't finish in the top 15.

LSU was ranked ahead of Florida post season 2018 also. Media love LSU

Please get a trip so I can filter you

Also the coaches' poll has never meant shit, media poll when

Suck my fat dick virgin loser lol

English teacher sure is obnoxious isn’t he

You'd like that wouldn't you fag

I'm thinking more Marine with last name ending in "-ez"

I can see that, but I wouldn’t want to give him THAT much credit

Easily most overrated team is Texas
Penn State and Northwestern probably shouldn't be ranked
Iowa seems high at 19

>doesnt know how to reply
Are you the supposedly fluent Ohio St faggot?

>is unironically a newfag

To the Seminolefags and alumni here in this thread do you actually think Jimbo is the cancer that ruined the whole FSU football program during it's tenure. I'm starting to believe Thrasher and others are trying to ruin the program forcefully. B/R article didn't give more reason to why Jimbo and FSU relationship broken after FSU won the NC.

>tripfag
filtered

I want to shit on it but it seems pretty reasonable.
Texas A&M should be top 10

mwwire.com/2019/07/25/is-contraction-the-answer-to-mountain-west-survival/

mwc could get smaller

That depends. Are we eating off of pure talent, or how they will finish the season? Because if it is the latter, I don't see how A&M can finish with less than 4 losses this year. That schedule is brutal. Theres a good chance that they end the season unranked.

Well even 5 loss Northwestern were ranked last year. And 4 loss Texas in the top 10. All A&M have to do is beat one of the big dogs on their schedule and they are pretty much guaranteed a top 15 ranking. I can see them winning two of these games. Second year of Jimbo plus Mond stepping up another level. Even last year they pushed Clemson to the limit.

>Even last year they pushed Clemson to the limit.
So did Syracuse
Plus they pulled off so many bullshit throws

Their defense will probably take a step back particularly in their front 7 and most SEC teams can run the ball so they probably won't improve that much at all

>#16
Feels like 2004

Me thinking about the last time South Carolina beat Auburn
youtube.com/watch?v=7tectqamOkc

I'm glad we're not ranked higher. Auburn getting ranked in the preseason top 10 is the kiss of death

lol

LSU has been objectively better than Florida since Urban left

I agree with all this, plus an overrated Florida team, but who are
Might stick Mississippi State in there? Okie Lite?
It's a mystery to me

9-3 is coming.

Based

I wish Nebraska could be as good as they were during the 90s again.. but I don’t think it will ever happen

>Tennessee
Let's get this over with

UF was one of the most junior/senior heavy in college football last season, that usually means they're one of the youngest the next season. LSU definitely has more talent and experience this year as well, Can't speak for Michigan.

>22. Syracuse
Is fruit the new fast? They haven't been ranked preseason in since 1998. Actually had a decent program back in the late 80's and early 90's.

It's a meme mostly
I think they just feel like they have to pick someone from the ACC after Clemson and Cuse is like the only program that seems to be trending upward

My team plays 1, 2, 3, 8, and 11 on this list. wew lads

Attached: gaytors.gif (125x80, 25K)

floridda and pedo state overrated

>syracuse ranked over the canes

lmaooo

Pedo State is always overrated
The polls love >muh comeback narrative
Same reason Texas is always overrated, except Texas actually plays a reasonably difficult schedule
Okay maybe not, but Texas finds a way to fuck up anyways
Franklin at least makes sure his Fightin' Pedos take care of trash teams like Maryland and Indiana

Where THE FUCK is Mizzou?

Why do South Carolina fans think Jake Bentley is Peyton Manning 2.0 when in fact he is the most average QB in the entire country?

b&

Can you be the most average?
Like isn't that just the definition of average?
Wouldn't "most" be redundant?

>Mississippi State not on the list
Well, looks like it's back to the old ways then.

>Notre Dame is always overrated

ftfy

Who the fuck said anything about Notre Dame?
I hate those bastards too but holy shit obsessed

Office the list like the belong

FLORIDA IS OVERRATED AND WILL LOSE TO MIZZOU CAP IT RIGHT NOW

Okay

Hot Take: Clemson chokes this year due to their tranny QB

Reminder that preseason top 25 poll is always trash after week 3

His name is sunshine

What are you talking about
It's trash right now

>3. Georgia
Why?

I have a hard time believing they're good. It's more likely the ACC is just horrible right now and *someone* has to win games, so they have a nice straight record.

>2, 3, 6, 8, 11, and 13
JUST

>nd in top 10
holy shit I missed that in the original post. I cant wait for the around .500 mediocre team

Because they're the third best team in the country.

I did bitch

That's more or less the truth
I expect to see another year where all the non-Clemsons beat up on each other and a team like Pitt makes the title game

They say that every year but every year they choke

Hopefully, that's back to trying to talk shit to CUSA teams about quality of losses due to other SEC teams laughing you out of banter session like it was pre-Dan Mullen era.

Oh boy, look who's overrated AGAIN.

>The sun is low now, but there's still time for you to drive over to Legion Field to watch South Carolina beat Auburn for the last time for the next 100 years

My two LEAST favorite teams are playing.

Who, as an FSU fan and student, do I pull for here?

Attached: miami vs uf.png (650x420, 18K)

There is never enough fruit to be had. That being said, This Orange is not top 25 material. They are close, but they need one more piece in the organizational piece to break into the relevant mold. Here's to hoping another ACC team can adapt and come into the fold!

I pray every year for a gigantic hurricane to wipe the entire state of Florida off the map

I was in there the entire day today

Please keep Disney World intact. The park itself is a vacuum to the polictics of the company. Let us at least sail / travel via the sea.

He'll make one more ACC Championship Game appearance and lose. Everyone at VT will love him because anyone that pays attention to VT football remembers Matt Ryan leading y'all to the promised land. This dude came as close as he needed in order to be remembered fondly. Just focus on keeping Miami from being in the mix, keep GT from transitioning from the triple option easily, and keep UNC from any form of talking points. That's your job right now. Good luck!

Lol va tech is fucked for a year or so. Especially if Miami is decent this year. If Miami is decent this year then the ball will roll quickly downhill

constant swamp ass

nobody on Yea Forums cares about night life lmao

Miami will be in the mix for the Coastal, but you, the rest of the world, and I know that the Coastal is a shit show of a division. As long as someone can get things together and create a consistent presence in the top 8 would be wonderful.

I won't pull for other teams in my conference, but the ACC needs a powerhouse to fill the void that FSU left. Clemson had the early 80's, FSU ruled the conference in the early 00's and early 10's, while Clemson has been on the up and up since West Virginia slapped them in the face. The ACC, for a very long time, was the Another Clemson Championship conference, and in the modern time it has returned to such a claim. The Tiger's time will fade, and, thankfully, the core of the fan base has weathered such storms.

I'm a Gamecock fan, so who the fuck thinks he's Peyton Manning? We know he's not great, we watched him throw 50000000 picks last year.

All he really needs to do is keep the UVA winning streak and bowl streak alive. If he does that the boosters, alumni, students, admin etc. Will keep him around. That's all that matters to the people here.

T. VT student

Attached: vtvalove.png (678x609, 285K)

Jake attracts hate because he's statistically built up SCAR while also drawing undue attention based on being young / connected to a coach. ESPN seemed to really want to hype them up with Spurrier, which kept SCAR in the public eye well beyond any actual achievement in the greater scheme of it all. SCAR reached its greatest heights while also not achieving much on the grand stage. Combine this with Clowney's opportune hit against a poorly guarded Michigan player and you have a recipe for prolonged exposure. Once Spurrier jumped ship mid season they fell into obscurity.

Feaster's transfer has drawn attention. Leaving the Tigers' rotation to potentially be the #1 RB is a solid venture. Time will tell if it will benefit his NFL draft dreams.

i see this meme all the time, but i still dont really understand it. Anyone want to break it down for me?

That sounds about right. As long as VT wins most games than not, along with being in contention, is all that matters.

About to become a blue state

I changed my mind on the bathing suit.

i like booth man, thanks again for doing the edits for me.

If you have time, you think you could do penn state left and rutgers right?

Yeah remind me later. Lol is Penn State reduced to being rivals with Rutgers?

the rutgers fan base views it that way, makes sense considering their locations

It used to be between countries.

Attached: 1483570830378.png (924x727, 109K)

Okay, which means its not Carolina fans doing it. So why bitch at us like we did anything? Jake hasn't built us up, he's an average QB, statistically worse than Stephen Garcia (and not better than any consistently-starting QB we've had since like Shaw or DT) and has been carried by us somehow managing to continue recruiting great WR talent. And what does that have to do with this random history lesson you've decided to give me as if I don't know that our history is extreme mediocrity? And what do you mean "prolonged exposure" lol nobody gives a fuck about us since Suprrier left. That was like 6 years ago bro. The media couldn't give a shit less about us. They loved Spurrier regardless of the team he coached, he was a great coach and good at giving the media quotables to use.

Not sure how Feaster is in any way related to "Jake Bentley being Peyton Manning", which I still haven't seen anyone do btw, but if dude puts up good numbers like he should vs the tough schedule we have this year he's absolutely going to be helped in his draft stock.

i guess, so its supposed to show almost like a domination thing right? like a hold your tits cause they can cause there better

With how well republicans are running it? Doubt it, Desantis winning and his poll numbers show that Florida belongs to the republicans

>all that forced laughter as everyone wonders what he just said

Hot take: Georgia is no better than LSU and A&M

Hot Take: Blue Mountain State is winning the natty and there’s NOTHING you can do to stop it

Is Texas back?

A&M will be the third best team in the country next year but they'll get stomped by Bama and Clempshit so people will think they're bad. Aggies will btfo a broken LSU squad the last week of the season but no one will care.

A&M might be the only team that can beat Georgia in the regular season.

The SEC east is garbage and Notre Dame is overrated.

Wheres miami in the rankings diddnt see them..

Big 12 needs them to be back, that conference has been a one horse race the last 5 years.

>big 10 get 7 teams in top 25
Gay

Attached: 1553551676922.jpg (694x750, 68K)

They've played 29 times and until the '80s were grouped together as eastern football independents. They have similar "rivalries" with WVU and Pitt as well.

Mountain West needs to get North Dakota State that's their true goal. If Boise State leaves then NDSU is a perfect replacement.

He looks like a horse

Sucks to suck florida. The real enemy is Georgia. They always choke in big games yet somehow they’re 3rd. Kirby sucks, Fromm sucks, Georgia sucks. Basically the Michigan of the SEC.

you really need kicked out of the big ten faggot
>muh tv market

>imagine being this obsessed with /pol/ shit

yes

Since half of Oklahoma's players are from Texas (and all of their quarterbacks) that means they share the championships.

But Texas is the 3rd best football school in the state. Its actually Houston and TCU that share the titles.

They will be back when texas and Oklahoma commit

Lads there's a podcast called Sports Wars. It's decent. They talk about rivalries in sports. Done Federer vs Nadal, Favre vs Rogers and a few others. Anyway today the first episode of Georgia vs Florida series came out.

Not this year
Honest this hype they currently have is unfair because they aren't really the #10 team in the country right now and when they get walloped by LSU they'll fall like a stone

Yo if you're reading this man I was still hoping to get the Rutgers edit.

Over my dead fucking body.

Clemson

Haven't you heard? Ehlinger is Tebow 2.0

How does it not bother Tennessee fans that a former Alabama alum, player, and coach is leading their football program? That’s like the ultimate cuckery.

So what is the meme game this year for Maryland? Texas is scared and won't schedule them anymore, and I doubt the game this year will be the same as last year against Ohio St. I'm thinking it's Michigan's turn

Syracuse, if anything
They really fucked up their coaching search

Georgia will beat florida this year

Is that even a big rivalry?

I am unironically excited about our offense this season. I think the offensive line will be serviceable with Smith, Morris, and Wright. We have good RB's and WR's and I think JG will have a breakout season. I'm pretty scared about the defense though. We have really good defensive coaching staff with Pruitt and Ainsley but the starting 11 (besides Thompson and Taylor) is filled with a bunch of literal who's.

>This will be the year we beat Bama. -increasingly nervous Georgia fan for the tenth time this century

They're definitely ranked too high, but I don't have an issue with them being ranked
At the end of the day, preseason polls are a crapshoot. A lot of times you're just better off betting on teams that have a reliable coach.
I have faith that Mullen won't let that team be too bad.

Pretty much.

They've been an SEC school since the conference was founded, so tradition plus they're competitive in other sports. No chance they would get kicked out

'no.'

Exactly what I was thinking. Don't think we have a snowball's chance in hell of beating Georgia or Bama this year

I really just don't think Mullen is that great of a recruiter, He is however a great coach and I could see him ending in the NFL someday. I don't think UF is going to archive Spurrier or Meyer levels with him, mainly just because Todd Grantham is an idiot and UF fans will lose patience quick.

I won't go so far as to say recruiting doesn't mean shit, but it's not something I worry about on an "Are they going to be good this year" level
No matter how he recruited, he's still playing this year with almost entirely someone else's players
Long-term I think he should be at least good if not great. The SEC East is wide open after Georgia right now and he should easily be able to recruit well enough and coach well enough to be a top 2 program every year until a significant change happens

This mentality is the final hump Georgia needs to get over. They've essentially proved they can beat everyone; except Bama.

We’ll win two of LSU, Oregon, A&M, and Florida. Hopefully.

As a Georgia fan who knows Florida and Tennessee's coaching staffs quite well, I think UTk has been making the better moves coaching staff wise.
Todd Grantham doesn't know how to manage a roster for shit and it was still obvious when he was at Mississippi State and Louisville. Pruitt had to do a complete rebuild when he replaced Grantham and might have been on his way to being one of the best DC's of the Mark Richt era at UGA but it just so happened to coincide with the collapse of their offense. Georgia had 15 and 10 fewer players on roster than LSU and Alabama in 2011&2012 because Grantham didn't understand the numbers game.

as soon as Miami shows compete against Florida they will probably end up getting ranked at 1-1. -7 is too big of a line, Miami will have an elite defense this year and they return good skill positions on offense. If the o line and quarterbacks are even just average they'll win 10 games and the coastal. They're a quarterback away from being a legit threat contender, its dumb to underrate them.

Auburn would never hire him. Carries too much baggage, not their type. They'd rather have a middling or below-average coach than take that kind of risk

There's an alternate universe where Saban never goes to Bama and Malzahn is hailed as a genius
I honestly feel bad for the dude

Fuck off bindi I'm not even an FSU fan

He already was an (offensive) genius even before he came to Auburn; he was setting records in Tulsa, and he invented the term wildcat if not the formation itself IIRC. The problem is now his offenses don't do shit, against Alabama or otherwise, even with an NFL caliber QB.

Oh and he can't develop talent for shit. So many busts. Duke Williams and Byron Cowart were #1s.

Why hasn't anyone been able to 'figure out' Saban? Most coaches with insane offenses eventually fade as other teams study and catch up to them, but Bama is still strong as ever.

I think that's the worst part. He's squandered a lot of talent at Auburn and then they gave him a retarded contract extension.

Saban was never built on offense, he was originally a defensive grinding coach

butthurt midwesterner detected.

Their prolonged success was never because he out-coached the other team (although he often does), it's because he out-talents them. This is why weak teams like the Citadel, Georgia Southern and Chattanooga are often able to hang with Alabama in the first half or at least right out of the gate. But by the fourth quarter Alabama's players are less tired and their bench is just as good as their starters, while weak teams have no depth.

I kind of feel bad for the players. I'm really not sure how they recruit so well. The stadium environment is top notch, but so is a lot of other schools' that also have competent leadership.

Holy shit I just realized Auburn's new quarterback is a five star. Looks like meme's back on the menu boys.

I used work a few miles from his high school. I never saw him play but a guy I worked with said he was the real deal.

unrelated now but I think Jarrett Stidham was the real deal and just suffered because Auburn is ran by literal retards. I think he's going to be great for the Patriots.

I think this year Clemson is going to get exposed a little more than last year. Their schedule (while not even remotely difficult) has a couple games where I think they could lose, and one loss with that schedule would be enough to potentially put them out of CFP, especially if there are 2-3 undefeated teams, or a one loss Bama/Georgia because they have a stronger schedule.

God I fucking love that Indian and it's history. That school literally wrote the book on how to keep a native American mascot.

do they pay him with alcohol and shiny trinkets?

Probably true. Where else does a QB regress that much?

I think they'd get the Bama treatment in that case.

Boomer here. I bought my first can of white (or any color) Monster the other day. Would give it a 9/10 except the price was too high. 6.5/10 may buy again if it goes on sale

what school

I doubt he'll coach again, he and his wife came uncomfortably close to losing all that high society wining and dining type stuff with the stupid domestic abuse thing from his wide receivers coach or whatever. she was keeping the secret too because she didn't want urban getting hit.

imo that whole thing made him retire for good this time, he doesn't want to deal with that again or have his legacy crapped on for stupid progressive bullshit

Attached: zMbueiy.jpg (355x440, 63K)

it was. no one fucking apologized. no one walked it back. everyone wanted him crucified and I'm like how the fuck is urban meyer supposed to patrol what's going on in this dudes household.

sometimes I get really upset at where we are.

i think the point is if he didn't have to deal with Alabama under saban defense every year he'd probably have had a couple conference championships and a cfp berth before he got figured out instead of nothing and being a footnote in cfb history

dynasties are built on defense, not offense. defense doesn't slump and can't really be "figured out". the cover 2 has been around for 25 years now as an example and has spawned dozens of variants and customizations. you don't see that with offenses. wishbone, option/triple option, greatest show on turf, wildcat, fun n gun, west coast, even the spread had to evolve into more rpo heavy stuff already and that offense isn't even 10 years old.

defenses hardly ever get revolutionized whereas there's some swinging dick with a whiteboard at a highschool somewhere right now drawing up the next meme offense college and the nfl.

the great coaches are defensive.

And now he's a marked man. You know there's going to be SJW uproar next time he tries to get hired.
I'm not even sure it was that he was figured out, rather than he just started sucking. His 2013 and 2014 offenses were elite (2014 especially), the following year he struggled to put 13 points on Jacksonville State. Jax State didn't have some magic formula to slow down Auburn's offense, Gus was just shooting himself in the foot.

he's still involved in the AD office and like I said I seriously doubt he'll coach again, at least at a big school. too much attention and scrutiny

SJWs actually ended the career of one of the GOAT coaches. Honk fucking honk.

Let's not get carried away
He was a shady bastard before they showed up
They did it for the wrong reasons, but it deserved to happen

Urban came across to me as a snake in the grass long before tOSU scandal. It's like he just can't help himself, he is a natural sociopath or something

Spoiler alert: Oklahoma State wins it all 2019

I wish cfb was that interesting

You guys sure he's not just introverted? Obviously he's not the most charismatic of folks but that's all I see.

Reminder that they are the one true 2011 champion.

honestly the best years in cfb always seem to be when there are 3-5 really good big 12 teams

I'm having trouble remembering a time there were even 3, unless you're counting a ~13 final ranked team "really good," and I sure as hell can't remember a time there were 5.

I tried online poker this week. So far I've played 62 sit & go tournaments, won 14, and made $4. Feeling pretty damn good.

so really good might not have been the right choice of words, let me change that to undefeated until they play each other

Like 07 with Kansas and Missouri and 2008 with a&m and tech. I don't really care about the big 12 but some of the best cfb happens when a few of those are relevant

Those are the years I came across when I was searching for what you meant. Both very good years.

When there were 12 teams 3 or 4 teams would be ranked top ten at some point every year.

The best years in cfb in terms of chaos are when there is no clear cut best team. I don't think Alabama or Clemson are going to be as good as they were last year just because they both lost some experience in the depth chart. Both teams have great quarterbacks and too much talent but lost a ton of crucial experience in the trenches.

Fuck Texas for fucking up one of my favorite conferences with the stupid longhorn network. I also think it permanently fucked Nebraska up and actually benefited Texas A&M more in the long run.

>and actually benefited Texas A&M more in the long run.

Okay you have a point about Nebraska but you're totally wrong here.

Texas A&M has simply added more clout to the SEC as a brand. They've gotten little else besides some media dosh out of the deal. Their performance since joining the SEC has been mid-tier at best. They basically swapped losing to Texas for losing to Bama, LSU, and Cowbell. All that media $ doesn't really matter when you're a notch on a schedule. Also, since when does getting FSU's second-hand coach count as benefitting?

this is so delusional i don't know where to start

Losing experience doesn't matter when the backup is also a future 1st round draft pick
Honestly what Clemson lost in experience they gained in talent
Xavier Thomas was their best pass rusher last year
In fact I think their pass rushing ability has increased to although they have to prove they can stuff the run

paul w bryant high school in cottondale alabama. played baseball with him in middle school. dude legit hit a home run every at bat.

How the fuck are USC and UCLA not top 25 every single year in both football and basketball?

Maybe but when nebraska did play ucla in the farmers bowl I did notice how nebraska was a larger team for the most part compared to ucla

lol what? The south is known for getting the undersized, quick and speedy players. what a fucking idiot

Way too far up their own asses.

Meaning?

Meaning they think "We're in LA, we *must* be good!" so they make awful coaching hires and are lazy in recruiting. And especially in USC's case they're right. People flock to USC because they were so historically good and they're the #1 team in LA, but because of that the coaches coast by on talent and are rarely actually good. When they get a good coach like Pete Carroll they're a fucking dynasty.

Can confirm, college station is white as fuck. Even the spics just look like dark white people instead of full Aztec goblinos.

It's a shame that there's not a conference for Northeastern teams like Rutgers, Maryland, and Penn State
Those teams are so different from Ohio State and Iowa
Also I don't understand the stuff behind the ACC Network
Do people in the Carolinas really give a fuck about Boston and Syracuse?

I think ironically the upcoming emphasis on streaming will regionalize conferences again because there will be more focus on getting people who care about conferences

Yeah right now the ACC is long as fuck but it used to just be southeastern/mid-Atlantic, now it's the literal entire coastline from Miami to Cape Cod. The Big East was a great thing.

it's all driven by money so the conferences will only re-align if it's profitable for them. psu for instance makes way too much money to ever go back to the big east.

no shit

>Big East was a great thing
Pretty sure every big east football program went to the ACC except WVU and Cinci.

Which created a conference it takes 22 hours to drive across.

Maybe he shouldn't have tried to cover for a wife beater like a retard

The Big East was literally a 22 hour drive across like the ACC today.
It works for the ACC because everyone has a rivalry or two near by. The big10's geography is and rivalries are backwards, they really should have never expanded because all it did was kill Notre Dame rivalries.

Not YOUR Clemson. Fuck off to /nfl/, lowlife
Nope. Root for your school.

I forgot that Muschamp was the coach of SCar
I always found this video amusing

Like thank god Will's here to save us.

I'm an OU fan. Oregon is legitimately the only one that I think is a head scratcher. Oregon is not better than at least 3 teams behind them. UGA at 3 is also a little absurd but people haven't realized how hard that team is about to fall off.

The Big 10 is the most overrated conference. Michigan went to doormat to top 5 team because of a coaching change. I think Nebraska is capable of being a top 4 team in conference and at that point it's just taking down the big boys once or twice and the recruiting game flies wide open. I also think tOSU is going to fall off hard.

Clemson falls off due to not having four seniors on their D line next year.

Oklahoma owns the northern half of Texas which is called "white Republican Texas". Everything below that is American Mexico.

>Michigan went to doormat to top 5 team because of a coaching change

To be fair, the whole reason they were a doormat to begin with was because of shitty coaching
It's not like they didn't have talent

>Takes that people think are hot but they really aren't.

Clemson will lose to TAMU.
TAMU will finish with 2 losses in the SEC.
The SEC champ will have 2 losses.
OU will have a top 50 defense and win the Big 12 again.
Jalen Hurts will be starting for OU while the new O line gels. I am predicting that's he will be injured by midseason and Spencer Rattler will take over as starter.
Nebraska will go 1-1 against tOSU and Wisconsin.
A defensive player will finish top 3 in Heisman voting.
This will be the first year a team with two losses makes the playoff.

I will not tolerate anyone talking shit about Brady Hoke. He's the only Michigan coach to beat Ohio State in 15 years.

go noles

hi it's me the somehow more tolerable regular gators fan

>Takes that aren't hot because everyone is spewing them as their "hot take" but are still things that won't happen

tfw i know the photographer of this photo

i thought you died wtf

Quiet Tua.

Unfortunately I'm very much alive.

>Sneak is a Gator
Wow it just makes so much sense.

Damn, now I remember the french okstate fan that used to post here. Miss that guy

Nice user, have a buddy that does South Texas HS football podcasts, I'll be sure to give you a listen

why did that rumor spread that you got run over in a dui incident?

so is gator the new word for faggot?

What? Race-mixing produces ugly looking mutts, if not doing it is "watering down" so be it.

Only when Miami joined.

And soon we're going to have to deal with Texas Tech in the "Pacific", Oklahoma in the SEC, and most of the rest fucking off to G5 hell.

Nice but don't think ND would do it, and without them this is pretty week.

Hasn't it always been that?

Why the fuck would Georgia fall off. They're not exactly getting less talented.

Does it really matter if that was Ohio State's one down period in that time frame

It'd be weak in 2019 but it'd be a down period for the conference
For most of history up until the past few years, it would have been pretty solid even without those arrogant bastards

how about clips from something when we weren't fetuses lmao

fuck if I know other than Florida being full of awful drivers lol

I mean... yeah?

It's just Penn State and VT and occasionally WVU, and then a bunch of scrubs.

One more run at the title, brother

i don't have any affinity for or against his teams but fuck if i wouldn't love to see that man win a chip again

Louisville had a really good run there for a bit too
As did Syracuse in the 90s
It certainly wouldn't be the best conference in the nation but it's competitive with the current ACC or Big 12

literally who

Those conferences draw from Texas, Florida, Georgia, and the Chesapeake, so they're never far from being competitive. There's no talent in the northeast.

Recruiting ain't shit
Talent is made, not found
Plus all those schools recruit those places too, especially Florida
Geography can help or hurt a given program, but there's no entire region of the country that can just be rendered irrelevant. America just ain't that big

thanks dog!

>Recruiting ain't shit
umm...sweetie...

>muh 5 stars

If it was that easy you and I would be doing it inside of shitposting on this kazakh horse breeding forum

You think Boston College wasn't interested in Trevor Lawrence?

Do you think Trevor Lawrence didn't choose Boston College because of geography?

>6. LSU
I'm ready for our inevitable slide to 15-20, we aren't accomplishing shit this season

whats it like to be a complete fucking moron? i've always been curious

Yes? Do you think it's just coincidence that the two schools he was considering were less than 100 miles from his high school?

Do you think it's just a coincidence that the school he picked just won a national championship?

The streak ends now.

Attached: afds.png (396x385, 103K)

The national championship they won on the back of a quarterback from, let me check, 82 miles from Clemson? And what championships has Georgia won since the Iran hostage crisis ended?

A hell of a lot more than Boston College has won, that's for damn sure

>SJWs actually ended the career of one of the GOAT coaches.

No. It was the #Metoo movement that let it all surfaced. Remember Baylor and all the other bullshit that happen.

Which is because there is no talent in New England.

Because talent wants to go to winning programs
How do you think Nebraska had so much success? Do you really think Omaha was some kind of blue blood recruiting ground?

Same thing. Non-feminist women didn't give a shit about it.

And on that topic, letting actual rapes surface is very important. "A man made me feel slightly uncomfortable 25 years ago" could not be any less important. God I hate women.

You think the bluebloods are draining New England of all their stop prospects? Dumb motherfucker. There are no prospects.

The mainstream media and smeared journalism what led to Meyer's downfall in tOSU. Before all the #Metoo mess Ohio State was trying to pick the pieces regarding booster scandal with Terrelle Pryor and other players.

ESPN and other outlets were on war against the Ohio State for many years until they found a goldmine.

>There are no prospects.

You're right
And it doesn't fucking matter

>There is no correlation between a team's talent and their success

Attached: QaYqtd7.png (645x729, 90K)

>you can only recruit within 100 miles of your school

You can try, but the vast majority of recruits stay close to home.

>Non-feminist women didn't give a shit about it.

Bullshit. Every women was upset over Baylor and Penn State rapes that had transpired from there. The women should realized why there fellows sisters are slutting it up football locker rooms and stuff. Title IX needs to be reformed or end it's misery before it ruins the NCAA for good.

Yes, but not about Urban.

what does title ix have to do with rape

ESPN has a personal grudge with Ohio State for many years.

This.

Yeah, I'm just saying I really doubt many non-SJW women cared that he didn't personally whisk that coach's wife away from her evil husband.

new

coming back was a mistake for him and it will be painfully obvious when they play miami in week 2

This, and it creates a positive feedback loop. The Southeast has been cfb fanatical territory for 50 years. It's created a culture akin to European soccer in that area. The only top recruits you ever see leave the southeast are usually from Florida which is in the geographic area but does not share the same fanatical mentality across the state. And players leaving state of Florida or the entire Southeast is STILL the exception.

So the good talent stays home which usually brings natties which raises fan interest which grows the culture which fosters better talent. The exact opposite happens in the Northeast and parts of the Midwest. Only the big 12 has a comparable football culture to the southeast but they don't have the talent pool to consistently compete with that region because players don't leave.

Penn State is not comparable to either situation. Baylor got blown up into what it was because of the climate, the average woman with a husband into sports in general doesn't know anything about Baylor, contrasted with Penn State which everybody knows about. No one would have given a shit about Baylor 20 years ago.

This whole Ohio State thing is a crock of shit and I'm sick of the fucking roastie guilt permeating every bastion of manhood left.

>ESPN has a personal grudge with Ohio State for many years.
You have no idea
