I grew up in the mid to late 2000s and I got started with occasionally watching smackdown when it was on free tv but most of my exposure was DVDs with old matches I got from Walmart which was a pretty healthy mix of 80-early 00s matches. It's more of a background interest now and no one else my age is at all interested in wrestling even if the were Cena fans as kid. They see wrestling as a kids show.so it is actually a little embarrassing to say that you like wrestling to them.

What does "good wrestling" means?
Do you mean wrestling that you loved when you were younger? Or do you mean wrestling that will appeal to my current lived experiences? Because that is not something that happened 20 or more years ago and is completely devoid of context. I cannot appreciate it properly. Yes, I can watch it, but unless I was watching it at that exact moment in time, it probably is not as "great" as you think it is.

I liked wrestling when I was a kid, fucking loved Sting. Fell out of it when i was a teenager

Friend introduced me to AEW and it reminds me of older wrestling. Love it now, went to REVOLUTION and had the best time.
