It's really not. Seth has called out Kenny like three times and uses his moves and his spots relatively frequently and Kenny has completely ignored it.

He's always been on the outside looking in. He'll never be part of the crowd that took independent wrestling and made it a major force to be reckoned with the way the NJPW/AEW guys have. He's also not as good and he has an annoying voice. Imagine waking up and you've got Seth Rollins' voice.

Seth wanted to be WWE Kenny Omega, started cosplaying at major PPVs and doing the rain trigger, gets called out for it and begins sperging out on Twitter, trying to be a company man and defend WWE when Kenny was putting on those matches with Okada and everyone was gushing about them. I think seth has internal doubts about wwe and he doesn't truly believe some of the shit he says online. So it comes off as weird and conflicted.

I think this is a interesting point. Seth WAS a indie guy, and hell, at one point he was the ROH Champion, yet people just view him as another dude. People might have varying opinions on him, but look at Adam Cole. The man had stock and a fanbase going into WWE and was well talked about prior. No one ever mentions or even holds Seth's indie stuff in high regard. In his mind he has the criteria of being one of the cool kids, but the audience has spoken. Seth is not cool.

It doesn't help much that he was most over as part of Jimmy Jacob's stable

He was the only ROH champ to not get a "please don't go" or "you deserve it" chant on his last show at a time where EVERYONE that got signed got a polite send off. And he was boo'd loudly at his last appearance at Fade to Black
