In his decision to protest one drugs cheat he protested them all, it's not just a case of "oh this guy cheats so I don't like him but I guess all other cheats that don't face me are fine". In his media appearance after his race he did just that and talked down all drugs cheat. Him refusing to say anything about his teammate (whether they train together or not they are both Australian National Swim Team members) is just plain cowardice, hypocrisy and makes him look like a spoilt bitch that's mad he lost his race as opposed to the champion of clean athletes that he was aiming for after his protest.
