Lewis Hamilton is garbage

Can we now put to bed this bs narative about hamilton being great in the rain.
Its just revisionist history made up by sycophantic british commentators.
Guy wins when he has a better car, spins of when it get wet.

yeah fuck this motherfucker

>guy wins when he has a better car
that makes him better than all of the other shitters that can't win even in a good car, so I guess he isn't that bad
this is coming from someone who absolutely hates Luís Amilton

Max Verstappen is faster and a better driver. Fight me fags.

Attached: lewishamiltonlooks2610a.jpg (1460x2190, 635K)

this
lewis is a great talent but he's been given a silver spoon of great cars since entering F1 so most of his achievements have a glaring asterisk next to them

Cant think of many other times has spun off, he is better than most in the rain. Most of us can agree hes a shitty person, but hes definitely the best driver of the field right now.

He is absolutely not
Max and Kimi are much better than him

Mercedes engine babby

I don't like the cunt but wasn't he ill this weekend?

Nah he was pretty mediocre actually

genuine question, what makes a driver better?
is it choosing the best racing line?choosing when to start breaking?
if you give all of the guys the same car, would the best ones still post the best laps?

>Max Verstappen
Leclerc is his master.

Confidence, driving style, having a feel for what the car is doing, knowing when to brake and when to accelerate. If you stuck everyone in the same car then it's unlikely you'd see the best drivers on top, the ones that would lead from the get go would be those that are better at adapting to different cars and different setups, but if you let all the drivers get a feel for the car in preseason then I think the best driver would still be Sir Lewis Hamilton because the FIA suck his dick and Ferrari strateggi regretti

he has a fast car and gets 1rst position in qualify. you all saw what happened when there was a little rain. funny how his racing partner also crashed and burned in the most retarded fashion

He got lucky he 360 and walked away right of the apex and didn't get any damages

No

Race as a whole was a lottery for everyone. Best one I've seen in a long time

>Kimi
Lol. He couldn't even beat Massa.
Kimi is consistent as shit, but he is lazy and a bit slow.

if leclerc is so good why doesnt he win races?

>seething Bemudan

Grenada won. Deal with it.

I was also asking myself the same question.
Probably it is not just what a guy can do on track (keeping tire temperatures, braking later, accelerating earlier, being smooth, and etc), but what can one guy do off the track (keeping the team tight, giving good feedback to the engineers, understanding the car, and etc).
Also, being able to adapt is crucial. This is why Schumacher and Alonso were so good. They could drive anything and be fast. For the same reason, I think Vettel is an overrated driver, as he depends too much on a car that suits his driving style (trailbreaking and late braking in general)

Kimi WDC 1 : Massa WDC 0
Kimi vs Ham 1-0
Massa vs Han 0-1
It's clear who's better
Kimi>Ham>Massa

Yeah, right

HamiltonwinsLOL

By my calculations Kimi won the world championship by one point

not losing to your teammate in a championship winning car as a starter

he drives for ferrari

You can't equate driver skill to driver success.
Only a fool would consider Button, Villeneuve or Damin Hill better than Montoya, Webber, Massa, Regazzoni, Moss, Ickx, or whatever.
Fact is, Kimi is no better than your average top team second driver,i.e. Massa, Webber, Button, Bottas...

You guys only hate him because he's black

Obviously, otherwise Kimi and Alonso would have more championships than Lewis and Vettel
As for Massa, Button, Montoya, Webber and Bottas, Villeneuve there is indeeed a lot of difference in their skill
As I see it their skill level is
>Alonso
>Kimi
>Vettel
>Button
>Montoya
>Lewis
>Webber
>Massa
>Villeneuve
>Bottas

but you could give these guys any car, not just f1, and they would dominate
I know kubica won some random video game racing tournament
if you put them in the same car and time their laps, where would the difference start showing, first corner?

>Kimi better than Seb
>Button better than Lewis

You are joking, right?

>all this coping
Kek

It depends. Sometimes the better driver won't have imediate pace advantage.
Some guys are as fast as the big aces (think Montoya and Schumacher).
Montoya was FAST but Schummy just had that extra much in underrstanding the car, giving good feedback, working hard, dominating the garage.
If you take all that aside and out everyone in the same car, with no fine tuning or whatever, then you would end up with a somewhat more balanced playing field, with guys like Massa occasionally being faster that guys like Lewis.
But more often than none, the guys with more confidence, and with a driving style that suits the hardware will be in front.
This is why Hulkenberg, Piquet Jr, Vandoorne and others had great success in GP2 but failed to deliver in F1.

carbabby

like schumacher when those races were done many laps before these but you wouldn't know because you're a kid who parrots what he hears from these other zoomer retards? meanwhile rb6 baby failing left and right

>has one bad race
>this somehow invalidates his whole career

Vettel did the same 9 years ago.
Looking back at it, it all came down to:
>Otherworldly car
>Incompetent teammate

And even still, Webber have put a much better fight against Seb than Bottas did with Hamilton.
Rosberg was thougher, though.

yes they are, i have never seen hamilton win a race in an inferior car unlike max, kimi, vettel and riccardo.

Noone wins a race with an inferior car in modern F1.
You may not have the better car of the season, but to win, the car hast to be competitive at least at a given track (like Toro Rosso at Monza, 2008).

Kimi nearly won in 2003 against Michael fucking Schumacher
And again in 2005 when he won in Japan from 17th place
Seb has never been a proper title challenger without a superior car, but has never lost with a superior car either, unlike Lewis
Button has won a race with with a Honda in 2006 and won 2009 with a failing team
Lewis loses to them simply because of that, he always had a fantastic car when he won and still lost with a fantastic car, unlike the others, and never won from 2009 to 2013 when his car wasn't a rocketship
Except Alonso, they both lost in 2007 but the team clearly favored Lewis and China 2007 will never be forgotten, I don't get why people say he's good in the rain, in Brazil he nearly lost another title because he got overtaken by a Toro Rosso unless these people only started watching after 2008 of course
Monza 2008 was a fucking miracle
You might not remember it but Toro Rosso is Italian for a reason, it was Minardi bought out by Red Bull
Winning in a rebranded Minardi was nothing short of unthinkable

>Result based on one bad race where guy was caught out on slicks by flooded last corner.

Huge sample size of data to work from m8.

It’s like Silverstone and spa 2008 or Brazil 2016 didn’t happen.

After Massa handed him the victory like the true gentleman he is

>Has one bad race
>EXPOSSSSSEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDD
Hamilton was dog shit yesterday but you are deluded

Ngl OP is probably a faggot on TOP of being Australian and trying to bait. Don’t feed him anymore.

hamiton was ill.

Early 2000's Kimi was AMAZING believe me, I've rooted for him back then.
But bear in mind that McLaren he drove was awesome, albeit very unreliable.
As for Button, the BAR was a great car, and for that one race, better than any of the others. About BrawnGP... Failing team? Seriously? The car was untouchable for the first half of the season, Button won 6 races only competing against Barrichelo, who was struggling with the rear brake set.
Once Rubens got a brake set that suited his style, the Red Bulls catched up and there was nothing he could have done.
Regarding TRs, in 2008, the chassis was crazy good, and, for Monza, it was the car to beat, like Force India in SPA, 2009. Fucking Bourdais did great in that race. Nothing miraculous about that other than the car being excelent for the track!

Hamilton is good enough on the rain, but Seb is still better in that regard, Germany, 2018 aside

Yes Kimi's McLaren was pretty great but he was still up against the greatest driver in history, and he almost pulled it off
And again in 2005 he almost won again despite his car being built with well designed toilet paper
And Button was always considered a great driver and winning in a Honda was again pretty fantastic for him
When I said Brawn GP was failing I meant financially, Brawn was a genius to put that team together but he simply didn't have the money and it showed, still Button brought home the championship despite the team being broke
Vettel not only utterly dominated in Monza, he also beat Lewis, who was driving a McLaren, in Brazil later that year
And Force India in Spa 2009 was beaten by Kimi

>Vettel not only utterly dominated in Monza, he also beat Lewis, who was driving a McLaren, in Brazil later that year
Cause the Toro Rosso was great for Monza in those raining conditions
>And Force India in Spa 2009 was beaten by Kimi
Cause Kimi had KERS and that was it.
But SPA has always been a track for Kimi. Just like Massa in Istambul.

vettel got exposed by based ric

Stay upset lmao.

Oh come on, sure Toro Rosso were decent but great they weren't, and they certainly weren't better than Ferrari and McLaren
Because Kimi is also a better driver than Fisichella

>I am a shoemucker fan
state of you

Vettel out qualified his team mate by a second that day and Bourdais was no where near his race pace

And Toroo Rosso was the only team to practice in the wet that weekend. It wasn't that there car was so naturally suited to the wet

ham almost always qualifies on pole in the wet. one race he aqua planed on slicks in the wet and made an error late race and you are jumping on him. why are you so retarded?

>lucky
Plebs genuinely believe this. That was PURE skill, sorry.

he chokes too often

Same reason no one else manages to win races: they don't drive for Mercedes.

>most of his achievements have a glaring asterisk next to them
Why would they? The best car wins in Formula 1 99% of the time. If anyone gets an asterisk its the one who manages to win when he doesn't have the best car.

Here, OP, have a bump, as you're speaking the (obvious) truth.

I hate the English

What is the 2007 and 2008 season

Hamilton losing an impossible to lose world championship and Hamilton nearly losing an impossible to lose world championship in a car built around stolen trade secrets from the main competitor
Hamilton had the better car those years and only won once, at the last corner of the last lap of the last race, because of a struggling Toyota

What do you think was the best car in 2007 and 2008, user? And be honest, please.
