verstappen is toxic but it's not masculinity, he's the literal aids killing F1

I think that would have been spotted by now, high speed cameras would pick it up pretty easily.

I just want to say, the Hamilton hatred and discrimination that was going on in here during the race absolutely shocked me, I'm disappointed to see this happen in our community. I hope we can learn from this and be more respectful at the next GP.
wait he really is crippled, you werent just memeing? what the fuck were williams thinking, i mean good for the guy, but wont they have better chances if they have a non crippled driver?
Why don't you use your brain for a little bit and realize that we're talking about championship rivals, not personal ones? Verstappen is the only driver at this point who's quick enough to challenge Hamilton, which makes them championship rivals. Everyone knows Hamilton and Rosberg's relationship was different.
Jordan Perry
Most pay drivers are skill crippled anyways so it's no big deal. They still going to be last every time.
Cooper Bailey
if that is what it takes to stop one driver/team from dominating, then I'm all up for buying tickets for his train. plus it's good traits to lose the championship as well, so that's a good plus for the future too. He's improved a lot, though.

>but wont they have better chances if they have a non crippled driver? This race showed us not. >Boomer cripple: 1 >Zoomer ableist: 0
Connor Long
Not if you have active differential, although I doubt that would be the case either since scrutineering checks every single part if they fit the genera guidelines. The "illegal" stuff happen like how lawyers bend the laws. Sometimes they fail to bend it. Sometimes, they succeed at it like burning oil to increase the total fuel consumed. Look at this for example. It's clearly illegal, but there's no way you could tell when you disassemble it. Whatever cheat they have, they need to be sneaky like this. And neither steering nor active differentials would be possible because of it. You just can't do anything with extra parts, you need to manipulate the existing ones
That's why he wasn't in the grid until now. Wider cars mean even he can drive. He needed special shifter and handbrake when he was in WRC, all teams agreed on letting him.
>realize that we're talking about championship rivals Yes, I've realized that. You can't consider his number 2 a "championship rival" when said number 2 always yields to him. And you can't consider anyone else a rival either, when the best they can do is collect an occassional win for Ferrari or Red Bull when both Mercedes drivers mess up big time.
>Verstappen is the only driver at this point who's quick enough to challenge Hamilton Not as long as he's in a Red Bull and Hamilton is in a Mercedes. That's the point.

The difference here is that you use the term championship rival subjectively, while I used it objectively. Of course Amx isn't going to be close to Hamilton, and I never said he was. I just said he is the closest championship rival Hamilton has, which doesn't necessarily mean the championship is close. And nobody is pretending it is. Everyone knows Buttass is a slow cuck, and Amx doesn't have the car, and they can't really challenge for the title. But objectively speaking, they're still his closest rivals.

I don't think he was necessarily "scared" of next season, I think he just realised that fighting had taken a lot out of him, and he thought "fuck it I'll just go and be with my family". Not saying it was necessarily the best decision - I don't think he knew what he would do next. I think he just felt stressed out from the intensity of his competition with Lewis and he thought "fuck it".
Yeah I think that is mostly it - although I do question whether it was a good decision. He obviously felt stressed out, sure. But I think he didn't really know what he would do next, he just thought "fuck it, I quit".

I think you have subjective and objective confused there. There is no subjective view to "championship rival". It's Bottas because he's the closest to Hamilton in the championship. Furthermore, I'd say considering Verstappen has the tendency to crack completely under pressure I'd say he's as close to being able to rival Hamilton as Hülkenberg is to a podium.
And I genuinely hate the nigger, so it takes a lot for me to admit this.

Verstappen gets penalties all the time though. Think he has the most penalty points out of all drivers except Grosjean.

Jaxon Collins
At least Pastor won that race mightily on merit. Heikki was just shit even in the race he won.
When's the last time he was punished for double defensive moves/weaving? When's the last time he was punished for overtaking off track? When's the last time he was punished for a failed divebomb? He does get his penalty points at times but he's gotten away with a lot more than other drivers would have.
And the fans are not as much of an issue for F1 as a whole as it is for the community. There's only so much retardation people should have to handle. No offense, but most dutch fans are ridiculously delusional and keep grudges over any driver associated with Verstappen. Just look at any motorsport.com or f1/social media section about Retardo for example. They're shitting it up like Ricciardo was some abusive ex boyfriend, lmao.

I'm too tired to think about or give a shit about this argument anymore. I agree that Hamilton doesn't have any actual rivals in the championship because the only other car that's as fast as his is driven by a man in a chastity cage. And I especially get why you hate Hamilton, because he really does get a lot for free in F1. And I still firmly believe Amx will finish above Bottas in the championship, which is why I said he's Hamilton's closest rival. Not that it will be close, obviously.
James Perez

Other possible one for me could be GAS

Tyler Phillips
someone post the webm of kvyat driving off into the desert in bahrain (?) on a scooter after a crash, that shit was kino
Colton Sanders
>Albion will replace Gasly after season break as some report.
This is due to the fact that Albion had faster Hockenheim speed and pace than Kvyat, but was pitted far too late. STR/RBH see the result that if Albion and Kvyat pitted similarly, it would be Albion on podium.
What tipped things in his favor was during the soft stink, Albion overtook Gasly in his RBH. And then Gasly crashing out.
Connor Foster
>By immediately geting ready when he went off. To be fai, they couldn't have known that he would swerve over the track like a retard and enter the pits sideways. Had he been less of a retard, they could have thought about tires for a whole (slow) lap.
Zachary Martinez
It's all very well having 3 or 4 tenths advantage in qualifying and miraculous drives to second-to-last, but when it really matters, Russell chokes. He's destined to become another Hulkenberg. Basedbica is Williams' only chance of scoring points this season. It'll probably happen again next time it rains.
Adrian Ortiz
for fucks sake they have too much safety rules. They are the most skilled drivers in the world earning millions participating in one of the most expensive and global sport on earth being one of the only 20 participants innit. Some risk should be permitted for entertainment purposes, even if it can cause death. 1 death per ~4 years would be optimal, no more.
>1 point yeah, I'm thinking >we're back. I have faith in Claire, >we'll be back on top soon.
Jayden Hill
funny really. kubica hadn't driven a wet single-seater race since 2010 before today (based Bridgestone), yet he kept the car on the track when it mattered. Despite having a partially amputated right arm with no fine motor skills, his car control is surprisingly good. unironically, how does he manage it? he can't even press buttons on the wheel with his right hand. and two of his fingers (and thumb) do not bend.
Gasly is much more disappointing, because he's in a top team. Yes, Gio is complete shit, but throwing away 9th or 10th places isn't as much of a big deal as failing to get close to the podium in a car that's capable of wins, being 1s off your teammate's pace, and often being beaten by midfield cars. The Red Bull seat is a bigger responsibility than the Alfa.
Leo Rivera
is max going to end second in the world championship? Is he going to expose bottas?
Dylan Sanchez
cringe what a bitch i am NOT seething
Samuel Phillips
I watched the whole GP and I didn't see the "Drove too slow under safety car" for Hamilton, when and how did it happen exactly? Also why would he do that?
Not really, safety should always be the utmost priority and letting people just walk on the track for random reasons is retarded and would lead to more deaths than 1 every 4 years... Also drivers should be punished for going too far off track anyway, we are seeing more and more tracks where sand/gravel traps are replaced with solid abrasive surface (like Paul Ricard) and that is retarded.
He always had a good feel for the car and a very light touch on the wheel, so he was able to adapt where other drivers might not have been able to. He's obviously not 100% like his fanboys claim, but he's lost a lot less than others would have.
Possible. Hard to tell right now. But the Red Bull seems to be at least as good as the Ferrari and less plagued by technical and strategical errors. So his chances are better than Vettels. So Bottas is the only critical factor. Who knows whe he will end up ...
Aaron Rogers
>when and how did it happen exactly? During the safety car period (the one after his crash and "special" pitstop).
>Also why would he do that? Because he's a retard.
>it got automatically triggered because he spent over 50s in the pits No, that's not what the stewards argued: They literally said that they think he didn't need to catch the safety car because his pitstop took so long. Investigations don't ever get triggered "automatically", by the way.

Wrong.

Christopher Foster
>It's not fun when your race is over because of a single mistake No, it's just a problem when it's always a gamble whether you get away with mistakes or not. If all mistakes were equal (and endig your race) that would be okay. As it is, if you're lucky you can mess up as often as Hamilton did today and still finish the race.
Charles Ross
No. I've always defended the addition of runoff areas and if Verstappen got beached I'd enjoy it but I'd still think it's bullshit and needs to be changed. Gravel needs to go.
Connor James
Nobody has any clue what you're talking about, faggot.
>if you don't stop the car you can drive through the gravel no problem Remember that one time in 2007 when Hamilton got stuck in gravel and subsequently got pushed out of there by some marshals (and a crane)? And how FIA saw no problem with that and let him race on? So much for the theory that gravel pits end races: That only applies to anyone but the golden boy.
David King
to be replaced by stingray devices to make sure nobody gets lucky and escapes like they can sometimes with gravel
Aaron Price
Oh nononono hahahahahahahah mercedes btfo
Lucas Walker
Neurbugring 2007, what a meme race, but the FIA was doing everything to give Hamilton that title, both mclaren, bernie, and the whole FIA wanted to have a rookie and the first black as a champion, it was a joke
Aaron Thompson
Everyone being punished equally for the same mistake is better than getting away being determined by RNG
>Alfa Romeo Formula 1 team boss Fred Vasseur says that the Swiss outfit has the “grounds and evidence” to have the German Grand Prix penalties for Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi overturned on appeal.
>“The situation arose during the laps we spent behind the safety car ahead of the standing start – we suffered a dysfunction of the clutch that was beyond our control and we will further investigate the issue.
>"I'm pretty confident that we are going to get our points back soo- said Alfa Romeo team principal
you're the one that's being exposed if you think slick runoffs aren't dangerous you've never driven a car or even a sim in your life have you
Nathaniel Torres
this, fuck em all
Zachary Morris
Fred is based, but Kubica beating seething Russell to Williams' only points of the season is more based. Alfa mustn't be allowed to have those points back.
Can't speak for others, but I've been a fan since '09. Feels good seeing him beat Russell on merit after mostly lagging behind.
Nolan White
AMX will become the Alain Prost of our era. Hated by casuals but is the most talented driver of our era. Alain Prost was a much better driver than Senna, but Senna has all the reddit glory from casualized documentaries.
Alfa should get their points back because the drivers earned them, the cripple didn't
Sebastian James
Senna is so highly regarded because he died on track.
Leo Phillips
What the fuck do you mean? AMX is much more like Senna than Prost because Senna was a jackass just like AMX. AMX is reddit's favorite just like Senna and Schumacher were before him for the exact same unsportsmanlike reasons
Jonathan Diaz
AMX is one of the most reddit drivers tho?
Noah Nguyen
How was his death any different from Jim Clark? In order to dramatized his death, in retrospect British sports media demonized Alain Prost as a 'driver who wanted preferential treatment'. But all teams from the beginning of time have an A Driver and B driver.
It wasn't unique. And he was the A-Driver because he was better than Senna, and the best of the 80s Era. No BBC documentaries about Prost.
William Russell
I'm not sure what you're trying to say, Jim Clark is also massively hyped. Some people even say he was better than Senna.
David Adams
And the beach was burning
Jordan Cooper
You need to die to have a documentary. Like the one who won a Oscar about some hippie folk spic singer.
Xavier Thomas
>the cripple didn't Please don't call Hamilton a "cripple" just because he's mentally retarded.
Ryder Ramirez
Clark is the best driver of all time. Stop disappointing your fleg with your asinine opinions.
Jaxon Myers
>none of the remaining races this year will be anywhere near as fun
He succeeded at a time when competition was weak and car performance varied wildly.
Aaron Ortiz
He utterly dominated though. No-one has dominated the sport like him before or since. There have been stronger eras since - but equally, no-one since has stood head and shoulders above the rest of the grid as he was able to, seemingly with ease.
>It's literally in the middle of fucking nowhere What? I don't understand, it's right between Frankfurt and Stuttgart
Ian Gonzalez

I see you post shit like this every time an American flag pisses you off. Go ahead and look up how many grand prix have been hosted in the United States. Why be toxic when you can just be quiet
What the fuck happened I thought Kimi finished in the points?
Christian Walker
Imagine Paul Ricard without that chicane
Parker Thomas
Alfa "accidentally" installed a traction control setting to the clutch of both cars. They got a 30 second penalty and so both drivers dropped out of the points.

Max is the only one who can challenge Mercedes, what the fuck is reddit about that?
Zachary Rogers
>Max is the only one who can challenge Mercedes Why doesn't he do it then?
Tyler Lewis
What the fuck happened? Also why do I keep trusting Retardo not to fuck me over every fucking time?
proposal: you get allocated less tyres but only use them in qually and the race fp is done on frankenrubber provided by the pirelli so the teams dont get as much data for the race pirelli gets to test whatever they want and the drivers still get to figure out the track. introduces unpredictability and lets drivers show their talent more
>the cripple didn't He did. He was faster than Russell in wet conditions, after the track dried he was ALWAYS faster in sector 3 while russell was faster in sectors 1 and 2. Sector 3 is the hardest one and the wettest, thats where most drivers DNF'd. Sectors 1 and 2 are easy and fast. And he was driving the old chassis, without upgrades. Russell had better car. Still he managed not to make a single mistake and finish before him. He deserves that 1 point.
Ryder Thomas
Can confirm, new BMW 3 series drives like a fucking lexus
Gabriel Powell
According to your logic Narain Karthikeyan was the most underrated scoreless driver of all time just because he was slow and steady during his career.
Try harder, even Rakesh could not believe that lie.
Nobody knows what to expect in terms of tire wear then It could be legitimately dangerous unless Pirelli decides to just give the teams data on how long they expect tires to last and operating windows Personally I think the problem with tires right now is they overheat too easily, widening operating windows would allow more battling without destroying tires or losing traction
Gavin Howard
I made a thing

No, retarded pole, Kubotz got 1 point due to extreme luck of nearl half of other drivers getting out of the race. He scored 1 point only to Alfa penalty. And poles went apeshit like he won a race or world champion title. Just how honorless and insecure poland i, that scoring a single point is a national clebration lmao.
His mad "skillz" gave him last position in nearly every race. he nearly never overtaken any drivers and he only defended against his teammate. Any advance in position was nearly always because someone dropped from the race
Owen Gutierrez
Honda doesnt need detuning due to heat. See austria where they run max power for like 10 laps
Logan Wright
Lmao, i dont speak a lick of french but that was hilarious.
