For me it has to be Club Internacional de Fútbol Miami or Inter Miami for short

Dont they speak english in Miami?

Club Internacional de Fútbol Fort Lauderdale you mean?

Based and Vaporwavepilled crest

>MMXX
imagine being proud of not existing before 1910 as a sports club/team

Not really

No lol

los estados unidos de america

>Inter Miami plastics
face it, you will never have history like Real Salt Lake does no matter how many thousands of dollars Beckham puts into your meme club.

How many meme clubs will they keep making in the US just to popularize my little soccer?

The question is will they have chants to rival the great NYC hooligans?

Attached: nyc ole ole ole.jpg (1024x768, 119K)

They're up to 24 and it's still not popular. Why stop now? Keep going until every city in America has a tiny soccer stadium and no fans.

>inter miami
Lmao why stop there?
>real denver
>ac detroit
>bayern austin

What's with american teams all having spanish chants and now spanish names? Is the sudaca phenom that grim?

A chant in spanish? Fucking embarassing.

>territory colonized by spain and has strong spanish influence

>populace speaks spanish

>royal salt lake
>in a state that has literally never even fallen under any royal family, not even Ingurland
>in the most republican country on earth
This isn't a thing right? Or did they really just copy Madrid because they think it sounds cool?

They had some kind of partnership with Madrid when they were founding the club. It's still retarded though.

Are those flamingos holding hands?

Have you ever been to Miami? 80% of the population speaks spanish, I've spoken more English in Canada then Miami.

About 1/6 of the US population speaks at least some Spanish, either having been taught it in schools as part of foreign language education or having learned it from their immigrant families/communities.
Even among white people, it's a useful language in the US. You can communicate more clearly with service people and be able to tell when they're talking about having spit in your food.

yeah, (you) are part of the problem

The founding of MLS was a strange time.
No. That came after and grudgingly.

>The founding of MLS was a strange time.
Mostly because it was foisted upon us instead of us demanding it.

Our hosting the GOAT World Cup in 94 was contingent on us founding a professional league.

Miami is unironically 80% hispanic

>Hasn't played a game yet
>The club has three official supporters groups: The Siege, Southern Legion, and 1896 Vice City.[48]

What does 1896 refer to?

miami was founded as a city in 1896

Interesting. One would think the Spanish would've build something there, but they didn't.

It's a horrible, mosquito-ridden swamp. The Spanish had enough sense to not build anything permanent there.

The original Spaniard presence was long gone and it was already very Anglo by the time Cubans, Haitians, Puerto Ricans and other assorted garbage from South America came pouring in. It has nothing to do with Spain.

there's a long list to get in the league
>miami/austin
>sacramento
>louisville
>st louis
>carolina
>tampa
>detroit
>phoenix

Son Los Cubanos

Wait until you see the Miami chants. They will all be Spanish

Miami here. I MIGHT go if they don't charge ridiculous prices.

Might bandwagon. I bet Beckham will use his connections to get a cool lineup.

friendly reminder USA has no official language
they are slowly introducing Spanish, check any government website
and that's okay

Yeah Cubans who were predominantly made up of Spanish descent.

Bro the stadium is in BFE though.

>tfw live in ft lauderdale 15 min away from Lockhart

:^)

The influx of Hispanic culture in miami is overwhelming Cuban. Those Cubans are the decedents of a centurys worth of direct Spanish influence on what was once a Spanish Colony in Cuba.

We’ve never had an official language, French was the second language until 20 years ago

>15 minutes
Thats like two city blocks for you lads no? Jebus i don't go north of Aventura.

Miami niggas different bruh

t. Butthurt Cuban

I want to find love and happiness in Miami

Do they speak Svenska i Malmö?

Utah was/is rightful Spanish clay just like your meme floodplain, aquafresh.

murdered by dexter vibes desu

Why is it that when Americans copy something someone else does it's considered cringe, fake, commercial and contemptible.
But when South Americans copy Europeans it's considered a flattering homage?

>But when South Americans copy Europeans it's considered a flattering homage?
What? It's seen as some hilarious bootleg straight from China.

At least, they didn't fuck up Roman numerals

Not by South Americans. They just play football and get on with it.

dicks

For the longest time I thought the name was meant to distinguish them from crosstown rivals Fake Salt Lake.

lol clever boy ;)

What a boring name. Should've gone with Real Internacional Sporting Football Club Nacional De Atletico De Miami City Union United Rovers Club De Futbol

it wont be too expensive monetarily, but it will cost you your dignity as you participate in the gay pride parade that every mls crowd is

Ummmmmm actually it’s inter ft lauterdale(owners note: since we still don’t have a stadium deal games are being discussed in Orlando)

bros we have beisbol teams that have been around since the 1880s.

Why were new soccer franchises formed, instead of the existing baseball/hockey/gridiron ones getting a football department?

Attached: 1187px-Major_sports_by_state.svg.png (1187x1024, 180K)

Franchises aren't clubs.

8/10 Bait. Would bite again.

Very good post.

what bait? Why would what I mention not work just because they're franchises not clubs?

That's literally not how franchises work.

they only copy spain
hmm maybe because they were spanish colonies

>niggas dont know about Ecuador own Barcelona sporting club

Attached: descarga.jpg (223x226, 14K)

Doesn't make MLS copying EPL names any less cringe, despite being a former British colony.

They do the same shit in Africa. There are two clubs in Berekum, Ghana: Berekum Chelsea and Berekum Arsenal. They both wear replica jerseys of Chelsea and Arsenal as their own kits. I reckon it's cute, but still cringe at Americans.

Attached: berekum arsenal.jpg (350x262, 25K)

a franchise can't be multi-purpose? who said that?

I don't see any purple here. Why include it in the legend?

El Verdadero Clasico

Because you look down at Africans but feel threatened by Americans, Nigel Mohammed-Ngubu

America is the cultural leader of the world. It's cringe for the same reason that hippy wankers getting dreadlocks and claiming that they're Rastafarian is cringe.

>who said that?
The league who controls the franchise's branding rights you smoothbrain.
