It will be underwater in about 20 years so who cares

What a bunch of retards

>nevertonians thinking they are gonna dominate europe just because new stadium
Would be fun to see them relegated after they don't have money to buy shit

>Shall we stop shoving, lads? Seems there's trouble down front...
>Nah, just push harder.

>Should we climb the fence, lads? It'd save our lives...
>Nah, just keep trying to fit your face through one of the gaps.

Soulless like all modernist shit

I approve

location is soul but actually building is soulless

Soul or no soul at least wherever you sit you'll have an excellent view and it looks like it will hold the atmosphere in. Goodison park is mostly a bad experience outside of sentimentally

>Soul
>anything modernity related
Not going to happen

the inside is cool. great to see people waking up at trying to have the fans as close as possible to the pitch. not sure how I feel about the outside

does everton even have that many fans to fill that stadium?

all progress is soulless

Seoul or seoulles?

ABL is a religion

Pure soul

Reminder the only reason why Everton aren't dominating Europe now is literally because Liverpool fans are murderers.

Yeah of course, they have a big season ticket waiting list for Goodison park and this stadium is only 15k more capacity and no doubt a decent chunk of that will inevitably be executive or "club level" seating which is where clubs make the real money.

>*Al Bayt Stadium – Al Khor City *The 60,000-seat stadium is the future home of Al Khor Sports Club, and is a proposed host venue up to the semi-final matches. The stadium’s design mirrors the Bedouin tents often used in the region that are a symbol of Qatari hospitality. Construction at Al Bayt Stadium – Al Khor City is in full swing with the successful installation of elements of the main structure, as well as ongoing works on access tunnels to the stadium and bridges leading up to the venue.

Interesting, let's see if they can put that money to good use and form a decent squad for once.
I remember around 2005/6 when there were talks about building a new stadium in Stanley Park to be shared by both LFC and everton, glad it was dismissed

ITT: Nervous Liverscum supporters.

It’s gonna be funny seeing Everton winning the PL before them.

If they can pull it off then soul. I have my doubts that these pics reflect reality.

I'm Liverpool fans will just murder a bunch of Man City supporters and ban Merseyside clubs from competing, just like the last time Everton threatened their ability.

all souless

DUDE ARCHITECTURE SHOULD NEVER MOVE BEYOND ARTS AND CRAFTS AND CHRISTIAN ARCHES LMAO

really smart idea to build a stadium near the fucking river so scouses can drown each other when their team loses

Exactly, finally one smart American

I understand the whole "we hate scousers let's make fun of them thing" but this post is one of the dumbest i've read in a while.

Shit hole. Self pity city.

>implying this is architectural progress
it's regression into generica

Where did Everton find the money for this shit?

I really like it to be honest.

But then again I'm not a reactionary moron like 95% of Yea Forums who think every structure being built the world over should be modelled on the 18th century.

>Should we take responsibility for forcing the gates open then crushing our own fans? nah let's blame the police because apparently they're our child minders

n***rton have been bleating about a new fantastic state of the art stadium for over 20 years.

most hilariously was the pre match 'exclusive' announcment they would be moving to the dock before their fa cup tie with lower league neighbours tranmere, in some kind of attempt to shit on the little club and show what a gulf in size and future prospects there was between them.

then they got fucking hammered 0-3, could have been 5 or 6. total humiliation

the issue was not enough gates were open not that gates had been forced open

State of the art facility for watching your team finish 9th.

I don't imagine it will actually get planning permission though because of fucking UNESCO.

Any attempt at innovation is by its nature a reactionary response to the contemporary though you anti-intellectual blowhard.

Nothing can replace the old British stadiums but this one comes the closest IMHO. Also Goodison was never that good

looks like a sandwich maker.

they built all that other ugly awful shit because of the corruption in liverpool city council. unesco will also take another bribe whilst complaining like little whiney bitches.

soulless
should copy spurs and have one tier behind the home goal

Goodison is literally falling apart, once I was there I saw a bucket under a leak from the ceiling. The bullens is a fucking disgrace, and theres so many restricted views especially if people stand

The only people who get defensive over goodison are people who never actually go. Theres talk it may not even pass UEFA safety standards if the club get back in Europe. It only currently gets it due to some grandfather rule or whatever

Looks something out of TM Nations track.

>copy ancient shit
>"innovation", "soul"
cringe

All grounds are infinitely better if they're by a river.
