I won't bother with a list of white wingers better than Pepe because it'd be too long and I'd miss a lot of players. the honest comparison is Florian Thauvin, both young and in the same league, he scored 22 in 17/18 and followed it up with 16 in 18/19. that's 38 goals in two seasons versus Pepe and his 34 in two seasons, Thauvin also did it playing 7 less games. I'd like to go back even further because Thauvin has been putting up solid numbers for awhile now, but Pepe scored about as many goals last season as his entire prior career combined even though he was getting loaned out playing div 2 football so it would be bullying.
