yes one of his most blatant weakness. you could see this again in the atletico game. his huge lanky body makes him slow. he has low reflexes (which also makes him bad at pens), his opening game is average, his aerial game is average, his positioning instinct is bad. i dont want to exaggerate, he's an average keeper that would be good for a mid table team. but one of the best? lol come on.

opening game is maybe the wrong term, but i mean what kind of decision he makes when he has the ball. keepers have habits in this that hardly change. some keepers first pass the ball to the left back, some just hoof it into midfield, some pass the ball to the defender that is surrounded by 3 opponents etc. de gea is a good example when looking at opening game. before the world cup he was confident and used to open with really good quick low balls into midfield. after WC he was broken and only hoofs now.

from 2011 to 2014 he was mainly known for his light fast reflexs but even that went away, he was actually great when he was younger at genk and atletico, back at chelsea it started to suck
