>no Wilt
absolute farce of a poll
>Deliberately leaves out Michael Jordan
This is how you know Jordan is the goat
> Aside from Jordan & Wilt
Pic unrelated of course
Cope
Jordan
Shaq
Kareem
Wilt
Lebron
How can you shit on Kobe when Iverson is currently ranked #1?
Demar Derozan
kobe is inferior in every way to jordan, he doesnt have any argument to being the GOAT. hes not even better than lebron or shaq, hes top 10 at best, nowhere near the top 5.
Because Iverson was 5'11 & 150 lbs, yet won 4 scoring titles, carried a lottery team to the finals & has the 3rd highest PPG average in history. The only thing that stopped him from winning 5-6 rings was David Stern's racism & determination to rig games against him
It has to be Kawhi
Michael Jordan
2 3-peats
finals MVP all of those 2 3-peats.
how can you not say he was clutch
Jordan
Kareem
Shaq
Duncan
Kobe
Bird
Magic
LeBron
Hakeem
Russel
Reminder that MJ's, Kobe's and Lebron's legacy is tainted because of Roe vs Wade as children who are unwanted or whose parents cannot support them are likelier to become basketball players, and that there is an inverse correlation between the availability of abortion and quality of the NBA

>kobe top five
This. Wilt is the GOAT. Manlets just want MJ to be the GOAT
4>5>1>3>>>>The other four all have legit arguments for GOAT but Shaq was only good for a few years. His fat ass couldn't stay disciplined enough to be GOAT
1. Jordan
2. Kareem
3. Kobe
4. Adam Morrison
5. Shaq
5-2 in the Finals, 2 FMVPs, 2 scoring titles, deserved more than the 1 MVP he got, strong performances in his other Finals appearances, best shot maker in league history at his peak, all-time leading scorer among guards, incredibly diverse and tough to defend skillset, one of the best 2-way guards in league history in his youth
Honestly, the only reason he's not higher than Duncan is because his age and injuries caught up with him after 2011 and he fizzled out.
Lakerfag here. You're a hypebabby if you rank Kobr over Shaw, simple as
Reminder Kobe was robbed of many MVPs cause of the false rape charges.
>Kobe had to guard Miller, Iverson, Kidd and others in the finals
>shaw went up against ????
>still had relatively the same stats in 2001 when they almost went undefeated in the playoffs
Real Lakersfag here. Name one good center Shaw faced in the finals. I'll wait.
I commend you got accepting Jordan and Wilt as GOATs, OP. It should be common knowledge but it bears repeating.
Anyway I voted for Kareem for the #3 spot
1. Jordan
2. Hakeem
3. Kobe
4. Kareem
5. Duncan
3000. Wilt and Russel. They played against whites
where the fuck is Jeremy Lin?
Shaq averaged 3 consecutive years of 35 pts in Finals and was unguardable.
Name one center in the past 25 years worthy of facing 2000 Shaq.
>1. Jordan
>2. Hakeem
>3. Kobe
>4. Kareem
>5. Duncan
Roe vs Wade babbys
Shaq's only real competition at C was Hakeem and he got 4-0'd by him. Shaq was so fucking dominant 98'-03' however, that it almost doesn't matter that he got shat on by the Dream earlier in his career.
For real, why the FUCK has this thread gone on this long without my guy being on this list???
I watched almost all of their games together desu.
>Reggie
Miller had a better series as he should have being the more experienced player. Kobr was too green back then and also wasn't 100% that series because that dirty fuck Jalen Rose stepped under him one game.
Kobr also only really guarded Reggie in the 4th and it was mostly Ron Harper/Brian Shaw taking turns on him.
>AI
Phil had to switch Ty Lue on AI which was the key to that series because he was lighting Kobr up (not Kobr's fault btw, AI was otherworldly that year and Kobr was playing out of position on defense)
>Kidd
Kobr won that one(both players played well though). Kidd wasn't really an iso player but more of a pure PG though.
>Shaw went up against ???
Mutombo was a DPOY and Shaw dominated him. He also did well against Ben Wallace on the Pistons but just didn't get the ball enough because Kobr kept chucking.
In the end, he put up monster stats each and every finals so why does it matter who he went up against as he did his job?
Also Shaw was frequently double/triple teamed which freed up space for Kobr to operate, not the other way around.
My real bone to pick with Kobr was that his suspect shot selection may have cost the Lakers a few rings(like against the Pistons in 04) and that he had the capability to be a better passer, just not the willingness at times.
Prime Shaw was the surest offensive weapon in the league back then. The best basketball play was ALWAYS to pass to him whenever possible. And had Kobr swallowed his pride for just one or two more seasons Shaw would have let him take over eventually and they could have won even more rings together.
Longevity matters. TMAC was an all time great score for literally only 13 seconds.
>Iverson #1
HOLY FUCK I KNEW SPEE WAS BASED, YOU AIGHT SPEE YOU AIGHT
They were pretty evenly matched that series and it was only Shaq's like 3rd year. The biggest difference was Clyde, Horry, and Ellie was a much better supporting cast than Penny, Grant, and whatever other literally whos that the Magic had.

>Who is the best NBA player of all time....aside from the two best NBA players of all time of course.
Damn, so you definately know your shit Lakerbro and I commend you on this excellent insight. Cant hate on your analysis but a few points I would like to make
Regarding the Mutombo matchup, reminder he was in his mid thirties at the time and wasn't as explosive and never really regarded as a great offensive weapon. And he also won that DPOY before he got traded to the Sixers, he did most of his great work with the Hawks that season and just sustained his case after the deadline.
You also cant be too harsh on Kobr in 04 as they had no other weapons since Payton & Malone got injured and both would have definately been more of a contribution, no other player on that team aside from Kobe and shaq that series took more than 10 shots. The only time they won in that series is when Kobe put the team on his back and was the leading scorer, aside from Prince playing great defense they had no other checks for Kobe
Rasheed and Ben were not scared of shaq since they his only weapon back then was to just sit down low and impose his will against weaker competitors and I would argue that it was this that made them lose that series, not kobe's shot selection, as he really had no choice. He still averaged around 5-6 assists per game in that series and diverted to shaq many times, it's just that the Wallace Bros were such an effective nullifier against him and definately caused shaw problems, which were only exacerbated when Malone and Payton were rendered innefective
Jordan. It's not even a fucking debate. You'd literally have be a mega zoomer retard to think otherwise. When you consider how pussified the current NBA is compared to MJ's era, you'd realize just how great he was to do what he did. You can argue #2 and below, but #1 is damn near impossible to dethrone unless you get Tom Brady tier GOAT.
>7 finals 5 wins and only 2 FMVPs. guy was literally carried by shaq and Phil. He was great dont get me wrong but he is 9th at most.
Rings aside since they are almost always a result of rigged officiating
> 3. Kareem Abdul Jabaar
> 4. Bill Russell
> 5. Larry Bird
> 6. Lebron James
> 7. Magic Johnson
> 8. Jerry West
> 9. Hakeem Olajuwon
> 10. Shaquille O'Neil
> 11. Tim Duncan
> 12. Allen Iverson
this Iverson nostalgia needs to cease
OP literally excluded Wilt & MJ from the discussion, we are talking about the GOAT aside from those two
He literally would have beaten the Lakers in 2001, if David Stern didn't deliberately assign two Referees that went on record stating they hated Iverson
and that would make him #3? Lebron beat the invincible Warriors
Yes, Prime Shaq was literally Jordan or Wilt tier in terms of dominance. Not to mention Shaq had Kobe who was averaging 30/7/5 in the playoffs. Iverson had no second option, was 6ft 150 lbs & played 45 minutes a game despite dealing with all of these injuries. He would be the undisputed GOAT if he managed to win that year
maybe he should have learned how to shoot, then he wouldn't have to barrel into the lane to get 2
As opposed to Lebrick who needed Kyrie to bail him out & couldn't even win a game against the Spurs in 2007 or choked in 2011 despite having Prime Wade & Bosh?
“Prime Bosh” ya what a powerhouse. Shane Battier was a bigger factor than that lizardman
Bird. Check em
1)Jordan
2)Wilt
3)Kobe
4)Magic
5)Shaq
6)Bird
7)LeBron
8)Kareem
9)Olajuwon
10)West
>le carried by Shaq maymay
youtube.com
Yes Shaq was a better player. But devaluing what he meant to those teams, as a guy in his early 20s being the primary ball handler, shooter, distributor, and closer in a very tough Western Conference is fucking stupid. People forget how top-heavy those teams were and they wouldn't've seen the same success with literally any other guard in the league in place of Kobe.
Cheers. Yeah I just try and call it as I see it
I definitely think they don't threepeat without Kobr and he also contributed greatly against the Spurs/Kings in some difficult Western Conference series during those years. 2004 was just a cursed season. They were on their way to winning possibly 70 games that year but no one could stay healthy, especially Malone who almost never got injured before that season, and it ended up being Slava having to guard Sheed in the Finals.
In the end I do think Kobr is seen in a more positive light between the two because he played his whole career with the Lakers and Shaw has been relatively underappreciated because he didn't. Good thing they're both properly honored as Laker legends now as it should be.
daily reminder that if LeBron missed every FGA for the next three seasons, he would still be short of Kobe's record for bricks
it must be embarassing for the other players to be compared next to and their names being used for hyping.
Why the fuck is Kobe #1 now?
Bird is the greatest talent but injuries prevented him from reaching the level Jordan did.
I don't understand how people forget this. Shaq was dominant but he couldn't play in the 4th quarter if the game was close, and Kobe was always guarding the other team's best player.
team bronsexuals are no different from the chinese posters: they always have a need for propaganda.
they know there will always be those gullible enough to believe anything especially if you challenge their intelligence. kek
Oh Iverson was small so that makes him the goat?
Easy, Karl Leonards.
well at least with those chinks, their lives literally depends on it. nobody wants to have their organs harvested early.
Wilt until Westbrook retires because much stats
AI already ranked higher than LeBum?
B-but, he's still playing guys!
He will win some more rings!
R-right?
>kobe better than lebron bird magic and fucking HAKEEM
lmfao
don't forget pau, kobe shit himself game 7 against boston, pau and mwp saved him.
Not Kobe thats for sure
> #1 in shots attempted all time
> #1 in bricked shots all time
> top 5 in turnovers
> never shot above 50 %
>career 32 % three point shooter >carried by shaq 3 straight years >cries and gets shaq traded >misses the playoffs in his prime >shoots 6/24 in game 7 of the finals but gets bailed out by gasol, artest, and bynum >muuhhh mamba mentality
>38/17
