Sure. That's the argument that actually makes sense. I have no idea whether or not it's true, because we have no actual access to WNBA books. We can estimate their revenue based on reported numbers but it's a lot harder to estimate their operating costs. But if it's true, fine, that makes sense.

It depends? Schools tend to fund 3-4 teams fully for both genders and then more or less rely on the others to fundraise for their gear.
I played baseball, basketball, and was a distance runner in high school. But that was because they shut down the boy's lacrosse and hockey teams because the girls' teams couldn't sustain their costs. Not because the boys' teams couldn't.
It's beginning to impact sports trajectories for boys; as "fringe" boys' sports are marginalized because of Title IX we lose the ability to produce as many top flight players in those sports, which results in less interest in those sports, which is a vicious cycle of sports death.

He's legit, his dad is Goranac used to pay for the Yugoslavian national team. There was even some talks that Deni Avdija wanted to play for Serbia but in the end he had to play for Israel since he grew up there and served the military there or something like that.
