Promoters don't like to put fights on in the summer the because they average less ratings.
Jeremiah Bailey
Huh, I would've assumed they don't like March because of college basketball and whatever month college football was on.
Julian Edwards
It's so clear he wanted out just from the way he looked. No fighter looks back at his corner the way he did unless they're in trouble. His corner deserves more blame for not saving him the embarrassment
Adam Lee
Yeah, his team is an embarassment for that. They didn't want to be the ones to have Joshua take his first L, that's just bad corner work though. He was getting fucked up and clearly didn't want to fight anymore, it's your job to make it so your fighter doesn't have to quit.
Jace Roberts
No they like that because they can piggyback off of the viewership of the other sports. People are more likely tune in because they're already sitting on their couch watching sports. In summer, everyone traveling or hanging out doing summer things unless you're lifeless loser like me
>my dad has been going to boxing workouts and knows I watch boxing >tries to shadow-box me constantly >I fake a right jab into a hook >lightly tap him because he tried to slip the jab and come in >complains that I punched him to everyone for three weeks

Your dad needs toughening up user. I bet he's going to boxercise with a bunch of women.
Jack Thomas
>>guy who is really good but loses all his fights >>guy who fights like a BUM yet is undefeated I've noticed these two a lot over the years training lol

Robert Taylor
Jfc man. Beat the shit out of him next time so he can talk about a proper beating.
David Barnes
Yeah his corner just seems so impersonal to him which shows how fake his whole crew and image is. I mean seriously when Femi asked why he felt like this, his corner should've known to stop it.

The World Boxing Organization has ordered Oscar Valdez to make a mandatory defense of his featherweight world title against undefeated mandatory challenger Shakur Stevenson.
The WBO has sent down a purse bid, taking place at 9:00 a.m. (EST) on Friday, August 2nd, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista South, Kissimmee, Florida.
The minimum acceptable bid will be $150,000.00 (One-Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars). WBO President Francisco Valcárcel, Esq. will handle the purse bid proceedings.
Lucas Lopez
YIKES! It looks like you made a wrong turn, the thread you men to post in is this way;
>sports somewhat similar except mma is even more organization based than boxing. UFC has its own belts, so do the other mma outfits. He controls pretty much the entire sport by managing the UFC.
No one will want to join him because he's known for cheating his athletes out of paydays. The reason UFC ever got big was because they had backing and could buy out competitors and get their stable. Can't do that in boxing
Dylan Mitchell
Valdez is going to vacate and move up, and he will be remembered as having the most pitiful run at Featherweight ever. Warrington has barely even held his title for long and his reign as a Featherweight champion has been three times more noteworthy than Valdez's.
Lucas Wilson
I will happily buy a pbc cap and ldbc shirt if Haymon actually mananges to completely deligitimize the WBO. Boxing could absolutely do with less sanctioning bodies
Kayden Hughes
He can't delegitimize them. Arum and Warren will continue to use them because the WBO are their puppets. So long as 2 of the big players are using the WBO they'll be considered a real organization.
Liam Johnson
I think in boxing they act like a regular promotion company since they have no other choice because of the way the sport is organized
but I don't think they'll have any sucess as long as they just make their fights part of the fightpass, they'd need a major network to make it in america like eddie with DAZN kys I'd school you in the ring
Jason Adams
People hate WBO over WBC Franchise/Diamond/Gold/Silver/Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald and WBA Super/Regular/4BeltsAtCruiser?

You'd be at the end of my jab all night /heem/let.
They all suck, but people are rubbed the wrong way when someone like BJS is allowed to pick up a free belt off of a Euro level bum just because he's aligned with Frank Warren. No one likes how transparently in the pockets of Arum and Warren the WBO are.

Pacquiao rematched Bradley twice, gave Marquez 4 fights, Barrera 2, and Morales 3.
Meanwhile Canelo who could never even clearly beat GGG and robbed him in the first is shook to rematch him. Likewise GGG is afraid of facing a young live dog in his prime like the Charlos and Andrade and is content beating up a part time fitness trainer. He's obviously looking to cash out rather than enchance his legacy. Meanwhile Pacquiao took an undefeated top 3 WWs 0 and is coming for the Spence/Porter winner.
Not when they see the offers every other promoter makes. Seriously though, White can only bleed his fighters dry because the UFC has a monopoly on the sport.

Dillian Shyte fans on suicide watch. It must suck to be a British fan now. Wilder and Fury will never let him live this down.
>The positive test result is believed to have come back on July 17. A knowledgeable source says that it was reported to the Whyte camp (including promoter Matchroom Boxing) and the British Boxing Board of Control by UKAD prior to Whyte-Rivas. However, the BBBC allowed the fight to proceed as scheduled.

>be enrolled in WBC's CBP which uses VADA >multiple tests leading up to the fight >catches nothing >UKAD steps in >busted
Is VADA becoming useless? Or is WBC paying them off to not bust certain people?
Logan Adams
Is Eddie Hearn curse a thing? Will Usyk lose under him?
Why is it the fat fucks getting busted? And not the bodybuilders like Joshua?
Jacob Taylor
lmao fucking wh*teboi. how do you come in fat as fuck and still pop for peds?
angloids need to be walled off from the sport of boxing, what an embarrassment.
Daniel Ward
One or more banned substances.
The real kicker is he tested positive BEFORE THE FIGHT Hearn and UKAD didn't notify VADA so the WBC couldn't withdraw its sanction.
Cameron Harris
eddie hearn is 100% done. all the shit he talks about peds and how fighters should be banned, and now his 2nd biggest fighter now pops lmao.
it was a nice run, edward, but it was inevitable. frank warren always was the man over there.
Benjamin Jenkins
BBBofC let the fight go ahead despite knowing. It was either something harmless like marijuana, or they let a guy they knew was on PEDs into the ring with someone else which would bring the entire governing body into disrepute.
Its been a fantastic two month to be an American Boxing fan who pays attention to the Heavyweight division. Wilder knocked out Breezy in a single round. Joshua lost to Ruiz, thus bringing all 4 alphabet belts to America. Fury became an American. Whyte popped for PEDs despite talking all that shit about Murica.
Question - when the B sample is collected is this at the same time as the A sample or is this the post fight sample?
Also since Wh*te popped 3 days before the fight there’s no way it didn’t cycle out so will Eddie try to claim a clean post fight sample is accurate?
And how ducking corrupt are the BBBoC for not telling Rivas or the WBC
Levi Long
>marijuana Surely, It has to be something minor. But It was crazy suspicious how his endurance was better than the parker fighter considering his weight

>which would bring the entire governing body into disrepute. Considering they still haven't followed through on Fury's ruling (Decided to disqualify him in the Christian Hammer bout), I think it's pretty obvious they're corrupt.
Nathaniel Foster
Same time. Makes no sense after the fact. The problem is that it takes ages for this shit to get resolved
Zachary Young
It's either that or a monstrous level of corruption on their part and an abdication of their responsibility to everyone that competes in BBBofC sanctioned bouts. If I'm Rivas, I'd sue immediately.
Nicholas Kelly
For sure a brit
John King
That wasn't even the most absurd part of that situation. I remember when they gave a backdated ban to Hughie and Tyson and just hoped no one would notice that Hughie had boxed three times during the "time already served" he'd supposedly been banned for.
Matthew Torres
Hearn is by the biggest and most important UK promoter. It's not surprising he would have pull with them
>youtu.be/27NQ9QljPAQ >1:37 well this post fight locker room vid after rivas has gotten awkward
Caleb Morgan
Frampton
Caleb Kelly
Mate they popped BJS for a nasal spray and notified the governing bodies. This is corruption on another level to let this fight go ahead.
Interesting. So assuming the B sample also comes back positive does Whyte get stripped of the mandatory?
And again if the post fight sample is clean but the UKAD samples 3 days before the fight flag what happens then? There’s no way you can get any PEDs out of your system in 3 days
Tyler Diaz
WBC wont change his status until a ruling by UKAD/BBBofC/NADP has been reached
Somebody needs to assassinate Sulaiman if this shit fucking happens.
Alexander Martinez
Hearn should have done the right thing and sent Dave Allen in against Rivas

>"The WBC testing, they’re doing a great job, but they can’t be tested all the time.

You just can't make this shit up. This is some next level cucking
>Povetkin tests positive after being mandatory to Wilder >Ortiz tests positive after being mandatory to Wilder >Wh*te tests positive after being mandatory to Wilder >Wawrzyk tests positive after being lined up to fight Wilder >Wilder still remains clean after all this time They're so terrified of the Bronze Bomber that they're guzzling buckets of drugs to stand a chance against him.
Something seems very off with this report. The BBBC would never have let the fight take place had they known before because of the huge damage it does to their organisation. Secondly there is nothing to stop the BBBC telling the WBC about it, even if they cannot deal out any sanctions themselves. Outcomes of this: If true Dillians Whyte's career is over. or Boxingscene get sued for an absolute shit ton for dodgy reporting.
Hunter Cooper
yes there's no way the BBBofC can be corrupt, the same body that has employed Ian John Lewis, Howard Foster and Terry O'Connor to ref every fight for years
Jace Bailey
>Boxingscene get sued for an absolute shit ton for dodgy reporting. would be incredible for Hauser to not be certain. Hes in his 70s but hes not incompetent
he already got injured... you might have a point, everyone should stay as far away from Eddie as possible... and rumors are the BUM is signing with him, I wonder if he's getting Pacquiao'ed
Matchroom drones grossly overpopulate all internet Boxing discussion, it's unreal. It should be like 3am in the UK, how are all of those drones still awake? Anytime there's any kind of discussion that involves a matchroom fighter they're immediately at the scene of the crime to sweep up the evidence at any time of day on any social media platform.
Now here you have a fighter that has been recently reported of taking PED’s ( Performance Enhancements Drugs) In fact it was said he had over more than 1 substance in his body. This Fighter has been caught before using PED’s so this is his second attempt. This shit has to stop... The bleeding has to stop somewhere, We just had a fighter to fucking die in the ring because of taking too many blow to the head and you have idiots like @dillianwhyte want to CHEAT just to come up in his career because he’s not good enough to do it alone. Oscar Rivas was his opponent that Dillian fought recently on drug in which Oscar dropped this drug user and almost beat him, so Mr Whyte all that and the shit half way worked you still got put on your ass!!! I’d get my money back!!! He’s been claiming to want to fight me but the Question is if your doping with a none Champion just imagine what you will try to use if you had the chance to fight me? (Overdose) Him and his promoter #EddieHearn gave the @wbcboxing & @wbcmoro hell while all alone this MF has been cheating baka then have the audacity to try and snitch on his countrymen #Aj and accuse him of doing drugs when he himself is doing it as well. On top of that his promoter tried his best to cover this up before whyte’s recent fight. Somebody come and look at this shit... I get criticized about saying things like “Ima kill you” and mean it but without any substance whatsoever in my body but here you have so many Fighters like the likes of Dillian Whyte that flood their body with PED’s just to advance to the next level, while committing an attempt to murder but want to speak against PED users baka, GTFOH. Lmao... Boxing’s a place where you can hate it but love it all at the same damn time. This nigga is definitely the Donkey Of The Year!!! #TilThisDay #HEE-HAW #EEYORE
Does "Banned Substance" actually mean PED though? Could be marijuana, cocaine, or something.
Justin Peterson

Jaxson Gutierrez
>"I find it real ironic how every time Pacquiao's name is brought up in the media, my name is always attached to it. This man's entire legacy and career has been built off its association with my name and it's about time you all stop using my brand for clout chasing and clickbait and let that man's name hold weight of its own," Mayweather stated on social media.
>"For years, all you heard was that 'Floyd is afraid of Manny Pacquiao.' But what's funny is, when we finally fought, I won so easily that everyone had to eat their words! All of the so called boxing experts, critics and jealous American 'fan base' either went mute and ran for cover or made every excuse in the world as to why I should give Manny Pacquiao a rematch.
>"My take on all this bullsh*t is that y’all are just upset that I broke Rocky Marciano's record and hate the fact that a black, high school dropout outsmarted you all by beating all odds and retiring undefeated while maintaining all my faculties simply by making smart choices and even smarter investments. Ultimately, I will always have the last laugh!"

Definitely should come 100% prepared, both unbeaten, Valdez not afraid to fight unbeaten guys, I personally havent seen him fight but Shakur probably shouldn't count him out, I think he'll handle it though kid is skilled as all hell, gotta be, some people might say he has no power, but i think the sky is the limit and we're only going to see him improve and hone it in
William Clark
I'm gonna call bums pizza delivery guys instead of cans and cab drivers from now on
Even with pure treachery coursing through his veins, Shyte got dropped. No way he wins if he fights clean. British boxing is an international disgrace: three drug cheats are their three greatest hws.
Aiden Jones
man I felt bad for him, his corner was shitting on him in quebec french because he wasn't getting inside and being aggressive enough and letting whyte jab him to death
Wyatt Flores
Thats the corners job and they were correct he wasn't aggressive enough. White couldn't land his left hook against him inside he could've wore whyte down but instead he languished on the outside where he could do nothing if Rivas had stepped on him he might've done better
what floyd said is 100% correct. the only reason that americans favor pacquiao so heavily is because this is a deeply racist country. white people apparently would rather support a disgusting little goblin who cheated on his wife (a million times), gambled (a million times) and did drugs (a million times). and guess what? now pacquiao supports having drug users rounded up and killed. i wonder if he would have felt that way back when he was doing loads of drugs... hmmm... different rules for the pac-man i guess. and how do filipinos feel about this? who knows they're too busy cheering him on
he's a drug cheat who was totally exposed on numerous occasions. lost to marquez FOUR TIMES and even got sent to jupiter on the last one. we had to listen to plebs tell us that mayweather was going to get killed for 5 years straight and then when the exact opposite occurred? "oh his shoulder was hurt we need an immediate rematch". what a joke
he killed hatton, who cares? it was a perfect style match-up and hatton was mayweather's leftovers by that point. he killed an ancient, horribly weight-drained de la hoya. he bounced his gloves off of a badly injured clottey's gloves for 12 rounds doing almost zero damage (this is when the myth started to fade a little). he killed the cotto won't take anything away from him there (fuck the cotto). margarito was nothing without his loaded gloves so again not that impressive. where are all of his marquee wins? he received a beautiful boxing lesson from morales and then started the juice up. he fucked up a chubby barrera (another awful style match-up). this fight alone was more impressive than anything pacquiao has ever done, by MILES: youtube.com/watch?v=gO1LqJhQ3CM
just do me something simple: tell me what fights you had him winning against marquez. what rounds do you have him winning? i know he won the first round of the first fight (while hitting marquez as he was going down). what else?
if his banned substance is anything other than coke, Benavidez style then he is a total fucking retard I can't actually beleive how stupid he is to have done that one fight before a title shot after getting fucked about for a year
could be, think we'll have to wait for more info if it's anything really bad (nandrolone, turinabol etc) and bbbofc still cleared the fight then it's a massive scandal
Jaxson Allen
Lmao
Joseph Lopez
also guarantee wilder gets made franchise champion and the wbc will claim to be the saviours of boxing
Well they say it's more than one substance. Shyte is fucking retarded. Being such a big bum and still getting ppv money then you go ahead and fuck it up?

floyd never gave him the rematch. Instead he retired lol

Americans like Pacquiao because he's an entertaining fighter. It doesn't matter what happens outside of the ring; Tyson was a woman-beating rapist who would say weird shit constant and America loved him because he was an entertaining fighter. Floyd, on the other hand, is one of the most boring fighters in the history of the sport, and has a legacy building first, fighting second approach. For a lot of fights, he ducked and waited until the prime moment for a fight in Vegas. Kind of like SRL and the Hagler fight, only for Sugar Ray's credit he had an interesting style in the ring and great ethic. How people still criticize SRL for this yet don't see it in Mayweather astounds me.

Manny KO's >Spence >Crawford >Porter >Garcia You know this
William Ross
Porter or Spence would be a super-fight. I say is his stamina was better he would break down Crawford just by sheer output, but he kind of gassed in the middle of the Thurman fight.
Ethan Johnson
Must be why Eddie is leaning more towards Matchroom usa these days
Benjamin Perry
Dillian Black is a fucking cheat and a BUM
Isaiah Lopez
rip shyte,I would have enjoyed seeing Wilder sleep him
Adam Peterson
JUST FUCK MY SHIT UUUUUUPPPPPPPP
Adam Hughes
Holy shit hes literally done. Pac winning a title at 40, dadashev dying, wh*te facing a career ending suspension, all in one week. This is insane, what's next?
Elijah Murphy
luh maoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
He came in the fattest he's ever weighed in a fight, got dropped. Hope that "bodybuilding" drug was worth it lol.
Yarde getting step aside money I see. Then Canelo sparks him on Cinco De Mayo weekend
Zachary Thomas
>In a previous study of the effects of methandienone (Dianabol) on men undergoing athletic training, strength and performance increased, but not significantly more when the subjects were taking the drug than when they were taking placebo. The subjects did, however, gain more weight on the drug, with increases in total body potassium and muscle dimensions. It remained an open question whether the muscles had gained normal tissue or intracellular fluid. 2. In an attempt to distinguish between these possibilities the trial has been repeated, using as subjects seven male weight-lifters in regular training, and including measurements of total body nitrogen. As before, a dose of 100 mg of methandienone/day was given alternately with the placebo in a double-blind crossover experiment. The treatment periods lasted 6 weeks and were separated by an interval of 6 weeks. Body weight, potassium and nitrogen, muscle size, and leg performance and strength increased significantly during training on the drug, but not during the placebo period. 3. The finding of increased body nitrogen suggested that the weight gain was not only intracellular fluid. The increases in body potassium (436 +/- SEM 41 mmol) and nitrogen (255 +/- 69 g) were too large in proportion to the weight gain (2.3 +/- 0.4 kg) for this to be attributed to gain of normal muscle or other lean tissue, and imply gain of nitrogen-rich, phosphate-poor substance. Although this action of methandienone might be described as anabolic, the weight gain produced is not normal muscle.
It's just a fucking mass gainer
Benjamin Nguyen
>not lean muscle >probably extracellular fluid
He fucked up. Could've just had OTC mass gainer.
Carson King
what a fucking idiot that's what, 6 heavyweights in the top 10 who have failed drugs tests now
Luke Morgan
Whyte isn't in the top 10
Justin Reyes
Whyte did nothing wrong
Landon Gonzalez
Absolutely fucking BASED
A GOD vs A KING
Gabriel Hill
Thought you were in texas this week eddie?
Bentley Scott
Look kid Whyte is innocent, he literally did nothing wrong even though he's now failed two drug tests
Is this what the "pissed off Canelo" rumours was about? Oscar wanted him to fight Munguia/Derevyanchenko, but Canelo wanted to fight Kovalev for this 4th weight class belt?
Canelo was pissed off before too when Oscar didn't want him to fight Lara.
Alexander Hernandez
gotta confess lads,I did the onions gasp when Pacquiao dropped Queef
Ian Baker
Clenelo is a bum
Juan Robinson
>Canelo wanted to fight Kovalev amazing how redditors will fall for this bait. he won't even fight Sweethands
Adrian Peterson
Anyone else think maybe Canelo is near the end? He seems to be chasing legacy fights now like going for a 4th belt in a new weight division. I wonder is his knees really are that fucked
Luke Cook
well he's been a pro since he was 15 so I don't really blame him
William Hernandez
He'll probably retire after his DAZN contract, which puts him at 33. Makes sense, since he'll retire just as he begins to decline and after a huge contract.
Hell, I could see him fighting at 200 for his 5th weight class belt if he's victorious against Kovalev.
I dont think its just age related though, i do think his knees are fucked. I think part of the reason he's become a better defensive fighter is because he cant move like he use to
>BOXER/TRAINER X REACTS TO EVENT Y >thumbnail of the boxer/trainer >it's just some phone audio recording of the boxer/trainer reacting to the event instead of a video of them
jabs are for pussies. It's all about rushing in and swarming with power shots
Connor Cox
I think he's suffered a lot of mental wear and tear desu. The Floyd fight and the Golovkin fights seemed to really drain him (the Floyd fight in more ways than one) and his killer instinct is gone. He could write off the Floyd loss as early in his career and down a weight class against the GOAT, but the GGG fights are ultimately asterisks on his career, given the Byrd scandal, the PED results, and all the shadiness. Even if he got the W dealing with that circus, for such a reserved guy, really did a number on him.
Brody Morales
He's never been great on his feet though. In his early career, Canelo was a straight up plodder.
Canelo has been fighting since he was like 16 so that's 15 years. George Foreman says that every fighter has a certain number of rounds and punches a fighter can go through before they lose it. Canelo has more wear and tear than other guys.
Nicholas Torres
It is 2019 and somehow Pacquiao is the best welterweight today. I'm still not over it bros.
Dwyer broke it down pretty convincingly >Thurman has been relatively inactive since his injury >Pacquiao is 40 but an active 40 >Pac's legs haven't left him and his footwork was incredible >Thurman underestimated Pac's speed and power; Pac hasn't KO'ed anyone since Hatton, but has still dropped tons of fighters
Joseph Morales
He's getting beat by Porter.
Joseph Cruz
>Pac hasn't KO'ed anyone since Hatton Cotto and Matthyse Plus he dropped Bradley, Marques, Algeri several times etc
>those comments Damn even matchroom drones are turning on him
Brandon Watson
whatever, the point stands although he hasn't KO'ed anyone in awhile, he's dropped plenty of people. He's still got the power to make his opponents respect him in the ring. The knockdown and body shot are good evidences of this. Thurman just saw his age and didn't think Pac could hurt him
It's not just his power either. I hate to say it but his angles of attack just catches his opponents off guard. Thurman got hit while moving back because he didn't expect pac to continue attacking instead of resetting.
Joseph Nelson
He won't be able to handle the pressure. He's used to knocking everyone over and being the aggressor at his own pace. It'll be an interesting fight for sure. Can't wait.
Blake Campbell
I'll drop you you britbum plodder. Meet me at 135.
Lucas Gutierrez
passing the buck to bbbofc procedures I don't get why people are laughing at hearn though, if a haymon fighter does something similar like the Charlos and Hurd missing tests nobody spams comment sections like a bunch of autists probably because he's a used car salesman shite talker
Jacob Sanders
Porter has a great chin and Spencer's boxer puncher style is tailored for Porter's swarmer style
Teo won pretty decisively if that's who you're referring to. People whined because he didn't knock out the nip, but a win is a win. He did a back flip in the ring afterwards.
I don't know why Mori is making such a big deal of the jab all of a sudden as though Ippo had never used it. He used it plenty at the beginning, then rediscovered its importance around the time he fought Karasawa. The problem is he had been fighting so many gimmicky fighters that the jab was useless.
Thomas Collins
Missing a test isn't the same as fucking failing a test after both the fighter and promoter have been publicly accusing other people of roiding literally the same week and keeping the results hidden from the opponent's team and not notifying the WBC while trashing the WBC for not making them the mandatory.
Evan Ramirez
I only watched the anime, does ippo ever become WC? Miyata? Does Takamura take over more weight classes?
John Clark
read: similar >keeping the results hidden from the opponent's team and not notifying the WBC hence him passing the buck to bbbofc procedures autist
I mean i take it as more Ippo realizing he just spammed the same strategy in every fight with slight tweaks to each fighter he faced. And desu I kinda like it since everyone who reads it knows ippo fights always go the same way, so to actually make that meta stuff actually become a point of focus is kinda nice.
Morikawa has gotten a lot better with his story writing since he retired ippo. This arc is probably self reflection on himself
Fuck Eddie Hearn is a slimy one. Whyte is indefensible
Landon Rivera
>I only watched the anime, does ippo ever become WC? Miyata? Does Takamura take over more weight classes? Ippo fought a fighter, Alfredo Gonzales, for the WBA title eliminator but got knocked out and lost. (Yes, even manga recognize that Mexicans are too strong for nip hypejobs) Since then he also lost his comeback match against a literal who Filipino and has been in retirement since then due to concerns about CTE (Its been like 2 years IRL since that fight). He's currently working as a trainer/corner man. Miyata hasn't done much. Hes defended his OPBF title but is more or less aimless and having trouble motivating himself without a potential Ippo fight. The only thing keeping him boxing at Featherweight is the idea that Ippo might return.
Takamura ends up fighting the WBA Middleweight champion to become the unified WBA and WBC Middleweight champ. In one of the most latest chapters he defended his title and announced that he would be vacating his titles to move up to Super Middleweight to take on his third weight class.
A lot of them, particularly the hardcore British fans, act surprised and personally offended about his lies and exaggerations, which is dumb because he's a fucking boxing promoter. Must be that "fake honest" salesmen tone that makes idiots feel betrayed when they find out the truth.
Because Al Haymon doesn't get on a mic and constantly make a show out of everything he says. The only reason we know he exists is because he makes his fighters say "Thank you Al Haymon".
Hearn on the other hand is easy to laugh at because he's a fucking clown and actually has literal fans from Brits.
Xavier Anderson
Punished Martin cleans out the heavyweight division.
Henry Kelly
Yikes
James Morales
>Charles 'Walked into the same punch three times in a row' Martin Don't think he could even clean out the gym he trains in
Elijah Jones
legit question, how do you even treat a brain clot? would immediate medical attention have made a difference or would he have died anyways?
Jonathan Moore
The latest chapter is good, because Ippo invented Cus's numbering system by himself while being a trainer for a few months. Which basically shits on Kamogawa, since he hasn't taught Ippo shit for a decade.
Christian Richardson
Kamogawa isn't dead yet?
Alexander Nelson
Drugs, probably would, as I imagine the damage the clot does increases over time, so the sooner you get to it, the higher chance you save the guy
Owen Taylor
He was coughing up a bit (think there was blood), think he went to the hospital (?), and "took a break", leaving the gym for a few months.
Kevin Cruz
Lads, just saw the Mr Rogers movie trailer. Might cry if I see this movie
Robert Harris
Yeah it sucks that people shit on it because this is the most original and fresh this manga's been in years.
Jacob Reyes
>Lads stop with this cringe shit.
Parker Wood
calm down lad
Colton Hall
"i need to keep my hair for a reason"
I guess they want to test his hair as it would keep drugs dating back far? I was wondering why he came into the ring looking like a African bum
>Didnt allow Rivas's corner to inspect his hand wraps >Used gloves that were not seen or agreed upon by rivas team during the glove selection meeting Reminder that whyte failing his drugs test is a false flag he actually used loaded wraps and unregistered gloves
can someone give me a quick rundown in the eddie hearn statement? I started watching but he just kept repeating that the bbc sanctioned the fight and that dillian will make a statement
Anthony Richardson
Hopefully the WBC rules it a NC and drops whyte from the ranking. The board of control looks so so bad now too they've botched it so badly you couldn't make this stuff up
he's dodging the question. he didn't say whether or not whyte failed or if it was actually a mistake/tainted supplements. he's just said the bbbofc approved it which is factually true but that doesn't mean Whyte didn't test positive.
he's also trying redirect people's attention because it's not the bbbofc but the WBC that is the real downside. they wouldn't have sanctioned the fight had they known there was an positive drug test but
Daniel Rogers
*but because hearn didn't notify the
Robert Robinson
Honestly as AJ was going for the KO after he dropped Ruiz they would have stopped it
Jaxson Adams
*notify them Whyte is now officially the mandatory which makes things complicated
It's sounding to me like they've already conspired to make sure Whyte will not receive a ban. I hate listening to Hearn, had to turn it off halfway through. He keeps going "nah mate we followed protocol, people are lying on us lad!!!" somehow not getting how shady it is for both the WBC and Rivas to not be informed of the FACT that Whyte failed a UKAD test.
He even keeps mentioning VADA, which doesn't make sense, they had no knowledge of the failed test either, it wasn't them who caught Whyte, it was UKAD.
Colton Rogers
This might be the most painful blunder hearn's made, even worse than aj losing. All that work trying to pass whyte off as a legit contender, stacking the deck in his favor every fight and now its nothing
Jacob Foster
Compassionate referee saving Takam from a brutal and probably life changing beating

>The junior welterweight final of the World Boxing Super Series, a title unification fight between Regis Prograis and Josh Taylor, is slated to take place Oct. 5 at a location to be determined in the United Kingdom, a source with knowledge of the schedule, which has not been made public yet, told ESPN on Thursday
Robert Sullivan
Rougarou's gonna bury british boxing in its home turf
Owen Hughes
If the rematch happens in the UK, I'm not watching. I'll just rage seeing are Andy get fucked from his well earned belts
Based. Guess the official announcement should be soon? Need to get advertising.
Also bantam should be announced soon as well.
Juan Perry
>On fight night, about a half hour before we were set to go into the ring, the Whyte camp suddenly told us they were not wearing the gloves that they selected at the glove selection meeting. Not the number one pair that they selected and not the number two pair either, but another brand of gloves that weren’t even on the table at the glove selection. Of course, we protested and said, ‘what was the point of having the glove selection meeting if you’re going to wear whatever you want?’ At that meeting Dillian’s representative Mark Tibbs had chosen the two sets of gloves and signed them off. No one said at the rules meeting, ‘oh by the way, if on the night you want to switch gloves you can.’ To make matters worse, not only was Dillian allowed to wear these new gloves, but he was already gloved up and we weren’t even allowed to inspect them. Bear in mind, his camp inspected our gloves – they knew what we were wearing. In contrast we had no idea what they were using because they were allowed to pick whatever glove they wanted, tape it up and put it on. Even after we reluctantly agreed to let them make the change we still weren’t allowed to see the gloves.
