>This week the Xfinity Series travels to New Hampshire Motor Speedway. NHMS is a flat 1 mile track that runs fairly single file with only one main groove. Due to this NASCAR and the track operators have decided to put the PJ1 traction compound down in the upper grooves to try and get some side by side racing through the field. This race sees very little movement throughout the field with most of the top 10 starters finishing inside the top 10. In the last two races the furthest anyone has started and finished top 10 was 14th. We see very few crashes that lead to a DNF and often end up seeing long green flag runs. The majority of crashes are usually spins entering the turns and drivers are often able to continue with minimal damage. The majority of DNFs come from mechanical issues with Brake issues being higher than normal.

PJ1 is a swell idea, it does open up another lane, but these cars are so aero fucked that even another lane can't create passing opportunities

Here's this kid, worked his butt off his entire life, and can't get himself on a winning team like Hendricks.

Such a fucking shame because Gordon, Elliot, and Johnson only got themselves into racing because of daddy's money while Menard had to work his way up and still gets the short end of the stick.

Hopefully we can see some more of this. I don't know why the xfiniti drivers don't hit each other more often. They're not going as fast, and the cars handle damage pretty well.
