I don't think the Rams do as well as they did last year, but barring major injuries, I still think Rams win the NFCW. I think they do it with 10 wins, though not 13 or 14. 49ers haven't even beat the Cards since 2014. With Jimmy G back, I expect them to be competitive, but 7-8 wins sound realistic. I just can't see them going over .500 in their division.

That's a fair point but they have beaten both the Hawks and Rams which are muh better teams. Also for the past two seasons both times they had played the Cards their playoff hopes were all but dead and gone. Also as you pointed out Jimmy G is returning and, as homer as it sounds, the sky is the limit when he's out there. Rams have too much to bounce back from between being out coached(in the owl), Goff being probably more than a little shook from the owl, and Gurley's questionable knee. I just don't see them being strong enough to take the division after that loss.
