Who the fuck are these people? Why do sad autists in this fucking thread obsess themselves over the private lives of random people with the most tangential of connections to F1? Why don't you take this shit to /soc/ or wherever the fuck "celebrity gossip" is meant to go?
Nathaniel Butler
Good job
Jace Carter

>guy now holding a fire extinguisher first put a blanket over the wheel Going to guess it's so the brakes can't ignite the fuel. Kinda interdasting.
This very well may just be the strangest coverage of a race I have ever seen.
Jason Foster
There's more interviews and random bullshit on the coverage than actual racing. Come to think of it, they probably show less than 15 minutes of actual racing per hour too, which means...
Austin Myers
No idea what you're talking about >Locomotion by Kylie playing in the background
you often attack first for no reason. how can you lack so much self-awareness?
Levi Adams
>Eva: "Yay! Our first wins! I really hope we can challenge Mercedes soon." >Margherita: "Hmn, those stupid drivers around had taken me out of all fights! Even RB was batter this time. This is our Singapore's redemption. >Lina: *Retarded noises* "HOW DO I TURN??"
Jack Thompson
If you feel the need to sperg at someone attacking you for no reason on Yea Forums(nel) there's something wrong with your concept of the whole thing, or you just enjoy sperging and that's fine as long as you admit it. My point, again, is enduring in it, not starting. If you reply to a gimi post saying "fuck off gimibabby kys etc etc" it's all fine, you get ignored and evrything goes as always; but if the one who posted gimi picks up on your provocation and start sperging it's their fault for doing so.
Just about as often as I am attacked but obsessed posters the minute they suspect it's me.
I'm not saying I'm innocent, but Italy is piece of shit to say it's "fine" for people to attack me for no reason, then blame me in every situation
>I attack people for no reason >I'm at fault >if they reply, I'm also at fault
>people attack me for no reason >this is "fine" >I reply, I'm at fault
Somehow it's ALWAYS my fault in every scenario. This is apparently "rational"
Carter Anderson
I have no idea who those people are. They aren't F1 drivers so how the fuck am I meant to know who they are?
Asher Robinson
>how the fuck am I meant to know who they are? By not being a casual
Ryder Watson
No offence, but you are easy to 'spot'. It's not about obsession (for me anyway). You just seem to get very upset if someone likes different things. The >reeee stop liking things I don't like posts are a big giveaway. This place doesn't need to be a hugbox.
Hunter Taylor
>No offence, but you are easy to 'spot'.
What's your point? There are a shitload of posters in /f1/ that I can easily spot, if I attack them for no reason are they to blame?
According to Italy they are. This is "rational".
Brody Gonzalez
Yeah, but most of the other posts don't get upset by tiny things so sperg outs don't happen is my point.
Jonathan Morales
I'm an F1 fan, not a "let's perv on random underage girls from the lower series of motorsport which have literally NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with F1" fan.

Also worth nothing I don't really care enough about you for me to push some kind of agenda against you, that's the reason I'm not blaming you for anything at the moment. By the terms I've set for my judgment on the thing, there is nothing wrong at the moment: (((they))) attacked you, you didn't replied and that's it.
Take Baha for example, he's quite recognizable you will agree with me, when people attack him in every post what does he do? Nothing. And that's the kind of behaviour I personally like.
What model do you reckon is underneath all that kit?

>YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO BE INTERESTED IN F1 IF YOU DON'T WANT TO OBSESS YOURSELF OVER THE SOCIAL MEDIA PRIVATE LIVES OF RANDOM NOBODY DRIVERS FROM LOWER TIERS OF MOTORSPORT THAT HAVE LITERALLY NOTHING TO DO WITH F1
Usually thats left in Baha's mouth but still, people attack you because they know you'd sperg and they want to see you sperg, stop taking their bait and everything will be fine. That's how I see it
That's literally the vibe I'm getting, how sad it is.
You're utterly pathetic, did you know that?
Lucas Wilson
Once again, you imply that it's always SOLELY my fault. No one forces me to reply, I'll accept that. I'll accept that's my fault. But I don't force people to reply to me. So why isn't that their fault when they do? It's a bullshit double standard.
>But I don't force people to reply to me. So why isn't that their fault when they do? no one forces you to start a 10+ post spergoutwar every time someone replies to your shitposts either but yet you do.
>So why isn't that their fault when they do? Because that's how it works, provoking has always been the main way to interact in an aggressive environment, everyone does it, it's not a big deal when you learn to handle being provoked. I tell you again, it's not double tsandard, I'm not interested in making you look in the wrong every single time, actually I pretty much enjoy your normal posting but look at it this way: It's not fisherman's fault for throwing the bait, it's fish's fault for biting on it
>It's not fisherman's fault for throwing the bait, it's fish's fault for biting on it Except when I'm the fisherman, then it's my fault, not the fish's fault.
>I bait someone >they reply >I reply >they reply >I reply >they reply >"fucking Australian is shitting up the thread again"
>someone baits me >I reply >they reply >I reply >they reply >I reply >they reply >"fucking Australian is shitting up the thread again"
Like I said, I'm sick the bullshit double standard you have where you always blame me.

>These incidents helped Damon Hill close the points gap, and Schumacher led by a single point going into the final race in Australia. On lap 36 Schumacher hit the guardrail on the outside of the track while leading. Hill attempted to pass, but as Schumacher's car returned to the track there was a collision on the corner causing them both to retire.[47] As a result, Schumacher won a very controversial championship, the first German to do so (Jochen Rindt raced under the Austrian flag). At the FIA conference after the race, the new World Champion dedicated his title to Ayrton Senna.[48]

Based. Is there a more based driver lineup than Ham and Bot? I don't think so.

TdF is on mate, if you're not watching that then what even are you?
Time for Ineos, /our guys/.
Also before someone says "this isn't F1 related", it sort of is because there is so much overlap between the sports. Tons of F1 drivers are into cycling - Jenson Button, Fernando Alonso, I've seen Vettel riding a bike around too. Also in terms of technology, they have similarities and attract a similar sort of person - someone who's interested in high tech machines used for going fast. Apparently TdF bikes are starting to use paint that was developed for F1, which is lighter than normal paint.

And Lauda didn't win a proper 24 hours so no one has.
Is Jeremy Clarkson right when he says Ferrari and Mercedes want the modern F1 Era to be controlled and predictable? If nobody goes wheel to wheel with Hamilel or Vettel, they always win. And F1 is predictable rubbish.

Why people still even mention Vettel when they talking about winning races and dominating at anything? Usually FIA just scramble shit around with new regulations to stop certain teams from dominating for too long, but right now they're waiting for Hamilton to beat WDC record, which is what makes things even worse than usual.
His era of domination was more than Hamlel's. It was nearly MSC or Prost tier. Given 1.5 years, Hamlel will take all the F1 records tho. Should be given astri

Well with Schumacher I was watching a video the other day where they said how they introduced a rule (during the refuelling era, and I think it was 2003 specifically) that you couldn't refuel between final qualifying and the race, which would often result in Schumacher qualifying only third or something, but he had such a superior car that he could then easily drive through the field to win the race.
Obviously this rule doesn't exist for Hamilton now and he often wins pole. But race wins have been affected by close competition, e.g. from Nico (unlike with Schumacher where Barrichello would literally be ordered to let Schumacher through) as well as from Ferraris and Red Bulls on occasion, as well as breakdowns and retirements, e.g. at Malaysia in 2016, or even Spain 2016 where Lewis qualified on pole but of course him and Nico clashed and both went off and got retired.
So to summarise: 1) Lewis doesn't have some crazy rule that suppresses his number of poles 2) Lewis also happens to be one of the best drivers when it comes to performing over a single timed lap 3) Lewis has had much more competition, from within his own team and from other teams, when it comes to wins (ESPECIALLY from within his own team given that Barrichello would literally be given team orders to let Michael pass)
Jose Torres
>So to summarise: He is (was) a start choker and lost a WDC because of that
Matthew Gray
with fueling being equal now, not winning from pole is just pathetic man
you start ahead of everybody and STILL cant win?
lmao
Ian Bennett
>Lewis has had much more competition from other teams, when it comes to wins >>Mercedes have won 75% of V6TH GPs >>completely disregards the amount of races in calendar when it comes to stats AHAHAHAHAHAHA

Ferrari only had 2001, 2 and 4 when they were actually superior giving them 52 easy races while Mercedes had something like 90. 2000 and 2003 were close with McLaren and in the latter Williams as contenders. And you shouldn't forget the worse reliability of the time
Who is the biggest fraud in F1 history and why is it Sebastian Vettel lol
Awful driver that was literally gifted 4 world titles, so undeserving
Ian Cruz
>Nico WDCs: 1 (one) >Hamilton WDCs: 5 (five)
>Your teammate crashed into you and sent you off the track, and you "still can't win"? >Your engine broke down after you led the entire race, and you "still can't win"? Fucking idiot.
>Lewis has had much more competition from other teams, when it comes to wins And I said "ESPECIALLY from within his own team given that Barrichello would literally be given team orders to let Michael pass" but of course you're unable to make a real counterargument which is why you had to construct a straw man.
Rosberg did well enough to win a WDC mate, and importantly of course Merc let both of their drivers race. Which Ferrari have never done. Or maybe they did before the Schumacher, I dunno, but they didn't give Barrichello a fair chance, they ordered him to make way for Schumacher.
Bottas also has done okay, winning races and shit. And yes Ferrari and RBR have won some races in the past few years too.
Nathan Hill
Mercedes drafted FIAMG regs for F1 PUs because MGUs were their R&D wheel house.
It would be the equivalent of AUDI Gmbh drafting Le Mans regulations so that an engine had to be a Turbo Diesel of specific displacement or Toyota Denso drafting Le Mans regulations so that engine had to be a V6 Petrol Hybrid.
If any engine was allowed, Honda would use a Jet Turbofan Turbine from their aero division pumping out 2000bhp.
Tyler Harris
I have an autistic rules question: Can a lapped driver try to overtake a driver who has lapped him or is it forbidden? Let's say Vettel has a crash and limps into the pits to change tyres and front wing, and when he comes out everyone has not only passed him but lapped him. Is he allowed to overtake all the slower cars to try and unlap himself and maybe even close the gap? Won't they just wave blue flags at him the moment he passes someone?
David Parker
Ferrari had 51% winrate in their Schumi years with fewer races in calendar. Contrast that to fucking FIAMG Petronas record with more races in calendar and try to figure it out. It's good to excercise microcephalic brain once in a while.
Isaiah Gutierrez
>Can a lapped driver try to overtake a driver who has lapped him yes
Notice how FIAMG win rate / pace drops when the track temp is hovering around +30C
Jacob Gomez
Ferrari threw one of their drivers under the bus in the service of the other. Mercedes let both their drivers race freely and Rosberg did a good job of fighting, beating Ham to the WDC on one occasion. You fucking idiot.
Andrew Bennett
Mercedes started developing their V6 turbo hybrid power unit shit in 2007 and then forced F1 to use that kind of power units from 2014 by threatening to pull out. F1 couldn't afford that because they had just lost Toyota, BMW, Honda, Renault etc.
Luke Ward
>Hamilton WDCs if he wasn't such a shit starter: 6 >Nico WDCs if Hamilton wasn't such a shit starter: 0
Come up with all the excuses you want but if he had the decency to get even 1 of the starts he choked that year right he wouldn't have had problems even with the DNF at clinching the title. Imagine being THAT bad you lose the WDC because you are F2-tier at releasing a clutch
Brandon Fisher
>they didn't give Barrichello a fair chance
They actually did. Schumacher and both McLarens beat him in 2000 and from that point on he was the number #2 driver. If he had won the WDC in 2000, who knows? Just like if Webber had won the WDC in 2010.
Pretty sure if he can demonstrate superior pace it's a-ok It's just that that almost never happens because either damage is too severe to continue or there's not enough time to get unlapped and back into points so the car gets retired and the team saves it from the wear of running the rest of the race
>But race wins have been affected by close competition, e.g. from Nico from Nico, who was enough of a cuck to listen to team orders. >as well as from Ferraris and Red Bulls on occasion yeah, they've had a whopping 15% chance of winning a race in the V6TH era, with it only starting to get to a ~55% sucess rate for Mercedes (read: Lewis, as Bottas was cucked) in 17 and 18. 14, 15 and 16 were absolutely dominant though. This year they're even more dominant again. >as well as breakdowns and retirements Number of Lewis' DNFs in championship winning cars: 8 out of 128 races
Number of Schumacher DNFs in championship winning cars: 15 out of 118 races, plus 2 DSQ and being banned for 2 races in 94
