I think the problem is that Murata didn't have a rematch clause in the first fight, or chose not to exercise it, so he had to get Brant to agree to a rematch voluntarily, which involved a rematch clause. Murata's team can't then decide to add a rematch clause for the next fight because Brant's team can just say "Nah, we won't accept that, it wasn't in our rematch clause"
