WHY THE FUCK DOES INDY TORONTO START SO LATE REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE >tfw work third shift Sunday night and gotta sleep
Cooper Ortiz
>tfw go to a race and /yourguy/ wins P O S S E dunno how it looked on TV but nobody even came close to sniffing Rossi's rear wing at Road America. he passed Herta on lap 1 and just took off. absolutely dominant performance.
I forgot about Silk Way. It's a big rally raid event like Dakar that takes place in Asia. Unfortunately most of their stuff is in Russian. youtube.com/user/SilkWayRallyVideo

Kentucky is a decent track for the trucks, right? I can't remember why, but I seem to have a positive outlook on this track, but they all kind of blur together sometimes.
Luke Morgan
trucks are good in any track, but yeah the low banking ovals seem to fit their package very well
William Martin
>low banking Ah, that's what it is. Good call.
Grayson Nelson
truck thread please natalie crash edition
David Lopez
Race isn't till another hour and a half, user. Plenty of time.
I would love to see a 5 race run in that truck with: 1. Harmonator - with his girth, even the 51 might not be able to pull a top 5
2. J.Jo Cobb - I detest most chicks in motorsport, but I do make exceptions for those chicks that are actually in it for the racing, and this chick is defintely in it for the racing. She'd probably still get a p15 or some shit.
3. SvG - with his drifting experience, I can see him do better than most road racers would on an oval in a truck setup.
4. Lewis Hamilton - the trucks would kick his ass with having to deal with tire wear, temp, and pressure issues, and the aero in the draft would be something I don't think he's ever experienced. It would do the world good to see one of "their" boys struggle in what they consider an "easier" style of racing.
did you guys bully the white knights into quitting Yea Forums?
Carson Peterson
>letting some bitch treat you like a dog This is why nobody respects you faggots.....including your women.
Landon James
dogs have hats?
Jack Ortiz
I made that one false flagging bong user cry again and go full reddddit "hun" and "sweety" tier with impudent rage....like I always do.
Ryan Bell
Hey babe!
Jordan Cook
it's actually a great pr move by boyd, it looks like he's just apologizing for a racing incident and decker acts like a whining bitch, she's only racing as a pr stunt and this will hurt her reputation even more, look forward to everyone celebrating next time she fucks up
Charles Cook
imagine consensually grabbing her tight little ass
On my way to Kentucky for the race lads Pretty pumped
Christopher Allen
Nice
Oliver Jackson
Drink lots of beer, smoke some good tucky' "blue grass", and slay a couple hogs for me while you're there, user.
Robert Perry
this will be what she is remembered for when her career ends shortly. she makes danica look like jeff gordon
Christian Morgan
if he was interested he'd already be there. He's probably hesitant about being exposed in a spec series
Nicholas King
>hesitant about being exposed Too late for that.
Julian Ramirez
>if he was interested he'd already be there idk, i'd think he'd be interested in a penske ride but otherwise i doubt it would happen. certainly the salaries are nothing compared to what he probably makes from mclaren
I don't even know if JPM is interested with the triple crown. But with that hypercars rule incoming for Le Mans, do you guys think he can have a shot to get it before Fernando ?
>Paul Tracy bit off more than he could chew in interviewing Jody Karam on NBC Gold Pass. Once Paul concludes the interview, Jody quips: "You're as big as a house!"
lmao dude... this user is right. Roger Penske can pretty much get whatever car he wants for whatever series he wants. he doesn't care about "brand loyalty" or any of that shit, he just wants to win at any cost. and he and his team have enough pull in motorsports to where they can run different brands in different series and not worry about pissing off the manufacturers. hell, if he wanted to run more series, like DTM with BMW or Super GT with Toyota or some shit he probably could. manufacturers (and sponsors) know with Team Penske, they are gonna win, and thus get their money's worth. they're a seriously elite multi-series team.
Eli Jenkins
bet some of you guys didn't know that Penske even used to compete in Formula 1 back in the day
California is too far man, I'd have to cross half the country to go see that. sometimes I think foreigners don't understand how big America really is. but I'd love to see bikes race someday. I've only ever been to car races.
Leo Gomez
hah that would be interesting I think Roger's only interested in cars though
Sebastian Adams
maybe this belongs in /o/ but what kind of cars do people drive around where you user's live? anything cool? I'm so tired of seeing the same old boring shit soccer mom cars/minivans, compensating manlet pickup trucks, and midlife crisis boomer Corvettes on the road. some of the asian dudes at work have Integra's or like a WRX STi but that's the only cool cars I see around here. every now and then you'll see a 911, or a GT-R or something but they are almost guaranteed driven by out of towners. I drive a 2010 ex-police Crown Vic btw. it's nice, but not that cool... the V8 is pretty beastly but it's a big, heavy, ugly car.
Jack Martinez
I'm poor and only have a motorcycle license.
Ayden Rivera
what kind of motorcycle? tons of boomers riding Harley's on the weekends around here, but sports bikes or supermotos are kinda rare.
Landon Powell
None. I'm poor.
Hudson Nguyen
>motorcycle license >no motorcycle nani?!
Nicholas Roberts
>poor >not having a motorcycle is surprising ?
When I get a better job I'll buy one again.
Hudson Hernandez
how did you get a motorcycle license without a motorcycle though? did you borrow one for the test? people around here usually buy the bike first, then use it to take a class to learn how to ride it, then take the test for the license. is it different in the Netherlands? (admittedly I'm not too familiar with motorcycles)
Kevin Miller
Oh no, the instructor provides one. You pay a lot for a lot of lessons too. No thing like taking a test after a drive with your dad in his truck.
Brody Wood
huh. here the normal thing is to take the lessons and take the test on the motorcycle you bought beforehand. not sure how much it costs but I know they don't let you borrow a bike for it.
Chase Garcia
idk, maybe it's different in different areas of the US too. but all the guys I know that ride bikes bought the bike before they took the class and test. no bike rentals here.
Jonathan Carter
Hatchbacks, sedans and a few station wagons, mostly diesel. You can also see a few of these around. Sometimes you see something sporty but it's not common.
I'd prefer to see trucks like that driving around instead of these wannabes in their stupid F150's/F250's/F350's. huge ass trucks blocking my view while I'm driving, plus there isn't a spot of dirt or rust on their truck. you can tell they never haul anything in the back or do any work with it, they just got it to seem "manly" or whatever. fuckin pathetic if you ask me.
Ian Mitchell
around here it's like 90 % Kia and Volvo it feels like. I saw a Mustang GT 5.0 the other day and I often see some guy in a Civic Type R cruising just below the speed limit
I hate Mustangs, Corvettes, and Chargers/Challengers. it's like a rule, if you're an American boomer with a midlife crisis, you get the Corvette if you have the cash, or you get a Mustang/Charger/Challenger if you can't quite afford the Corvette. I see them everywhere and it's so boring. I'm so desensitized to it, those don't even feel like a "sporty" car to me.
Jayden Morris
based Portugalbro
Dylan Sullivan
wtf it's already over reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Angel Williams
has the Super GT and DTM regulations merge taken place yet? are any teams doing both? I know it was supposed to begin this year but I'm kinda out of the loop, haven't been able to catch any of the races so far
Christian Gomez
The regs are done, i think Super GT still has to adopt the regs but the difference between the regs is small. 3 Super GT cars will race in the final DTM weekend and they will do a race in November in Fuji.
Levi Taylor
nice. I think there needs to be more cooperation like this internationally in motorsports. I'm kinda pissed off that IMSA and ACO/FIA couldn't agree on regulations. motorsports is kind of a shrinking sport, and the various governing bodies need to work together.
Nathaniel Smith
here you see everything from the mid 80's onwards, mostly cheap family sedans and pick up trucks, lots of korean and japanese cars, since 07 the chinese brought cars to the market and seem to be a popular in middle class families that want to look upper class, also small city cars are popular (i hate those things), as for muscle cars you see mostly camaros from drug dealers, and mustangs every now and then, i saw a lambo the other day near my uni but those are rare
Landon Jenkins
i cant find reliable stateside Formula E streams. Send help please.
it's pretty rare to see anything from the 80's around here, unless it's a well taken care of sports car with the special "collector" plates out on a Sunday drive. my first car was an '89 Buick Century, and that was in like 2009. you don't even see those around anymore.

Jayden Rogers
for reference, odds for max chilton to win tomorrow's indy race are 200/1

what were haley's odds last week?

125/1 but who the fuck was gonna put anything on that, unless you were gonna put 1 unit on every driver and just hope one of the 40+/1 guys pulled it off
Hunter Peterson
vettel at 16/1 seems like a pretty good deal desu
Henry Wilson
Tracy was always a bigger driver back in the day. now, he looks like the biker dude that he is.
Not sure where you are getting these but I'm referring to the typical Las Vegas line on these races
Jack Brooks
bovada, other races are more volatile like the gay plate races, last week at Daytona the longest odds were 200/1 but these intermediate tracks are more predictable in the sense that the winner will be a good driver
Henry Gutierrez
does Motor/sp/ort like the 1.5 mile tracks? >Intermediate Tracks Atlanta Chicago Darlington Homestead Kansas Las Vegas Charlotte Texas Kentucky

scratch Darlington from that list. It's 1.366 miles and most certainly not a cookie cutter tri-oval

would you group it with Dover, New Hampshire and Phoenix (ISM) or consider it unique?
Traction compound put down this morning is designed to have 15% more friction in Turns 1-2 than the untreated area. 16% in Turns 3-4. Had been measured at 10% for Thursday and Friday.
I will put down a traction compound of my foot on your ass. what is this fuckery! pouring this shit on the track to change the car's handling? fuck that. you set up the car to the course, not the other way around. this is bullshit!
maybe bread's crew chief prefers to have a clean exit, what's in pit stall 10?

I was at some races today and while in the paddock one driver started talking to me. We talked for a good half hour all about his car and the tracks he's been to, how it was handling etc. I didn't realize until tonight when I saw a pic of him that he has autism. racingwithautism.com/ Austin's a pretty neat guy, I had no idea he was autistic when talking with him.

shouldn't be too much of a problem for euros since eurosport has covered the whole season, and spa is on youtube
Juan James
Ideally we would get a Eurosport Player stream like before because while they almost certainly will show some of it on TV i don't know how much they will show and i'd like to avoid ads if possible.
motorsport.com/v8supercars/news/boost-lowndes-car-swap-stanaway/4494655/ Adderton, whose Boost outfit is the title sponsor at Garry Rogers Motorsport, has been vocal on social media during recent Supercars rounds, defending GRM's young driver line-up and slating the squad's car speed. >While widely interpreted as criticism of the team, Adderton says the posts are in fact levelled at what he sees as a "broken" Supercars system, that leaves smaller teams unable to fight against powerhouses like Triple Eight and DJR Team Penske. >He's also taken exception to a perceived lack of support for the young Richie Stanaway/James Golding driver line-up from the likes of Craig Lowndes. >To prove that GRM's issue isn't its drivers, Adderton has thrown down a challenge to Lowndes. If he can go quicker in a GRM Holden than Stanaway – when back at full fitness– can go in a Triple Eight Holden, he'll give the seven-time Bathurst winner $50,000. >"I'm getting a little frustrated with the ageing Supercars drivers continuing to say that our team has a problem because we don't have experience in the car," Adderton told Motorsport.com. >"This is just a bunch of ageing Supercars drivers trying to keep themselves relevant. We need younger blood in the sport. They're not doing the drivers or the team any good by giving them that lack of confidence. >"I don't care if you threw Lewis Hamilton in our car, it's not going to go any faster.
Twitter is just a shithole and eventually everyone gets the shits with it and posts something like that even though they know they shouldn't.

sportscar365.com/industry/reiter-ktm-developing-concept-gt-race-car/ >KTM and Reiter Engineering are currently developing a concept GT car which could form the basis of a future racing program. >The two companies have built a test mule which was recently spotted testing at Imola (pictured above). The concept is based around an unusually small engine: a 2.5-liter 5-cylinder Audi powerplant. >“At the moment, it’s just a concept car,” Reiter Engineering founder and owner Hans Reiter explained to Sportscar365. >“KTM wants to find out whether this kind of concept has a future. If you look at modern GT cars, they all have V8 turbos, and this car has a five-cylinder turbo. >“We are now testing, running, and seeing what we can do with this concept.” >Currently, the car has been running with an output of around 400 horsepower from the Audi road car engine, although Reiter says they plan to “see what is possible with 600 or more horsepower”. It looks nice. Hope they can race the car somewhere.
sportscar365.com/lemans/wec/goodyear-eyeing-hypercar-as-part-of-long-term-sports-car-plan/ >Goodyear is planning to be in sports car racing “for the long term” following its commitment to provide tires in the FIA World Endurance Championship next season. >The U.S. company’s motorsport director Ben Crawley told Sportscar365 that expansion beyond its initial LMP2 commitment is planned, while he also described the upcoming hypercar regulations as “very much of interest”. >“Within WEC, we don’t just want to stay in LMP2,” said Crawley. “Part of having a stronger, broader presence for Goodyear and activating it more, is obviously the new hypercar category, which is of interest. >“We’ll be actively discussing and evaluating that, and also the GTE categories. We absolutely want to expand the presence within WEC. >“Overall, we see this as one pillar of how we bring Goodyear back into racing, for the long term.
>The WEC tires are being developed at Goodyear’s manufacturing plants in Germany and Luxembourg. It's essentially just Dunlop with a different name. >“We’re looking to revitalize the brand in Europe, as well as our flagship brand globally, so it was a logical decision for us to bring Goodyear back to motorsports and more,” Rytokoski told Sportscar365.

Was excellent, what makes a short oval great is lapped traffic and effectively Mexican stand-offs between 2 or so drivers who are waiting for the leader to make a single mistake. This race had a bunch, Josef just didn't make many mistakes. Power made a mistake in traffic that let Josef by etc.
It was a great short track race that stood in sharp contrast to Gateway and other tracks where there's almost no separation in speeds that would create traffic.
Tyler Johnson
I think the race might be decent today. Bowman will wreck out, so will Newman. Will be neat to see who else has no handle for the track today

He totalled his car in practice, then used his backup for Qualifying, which broke the camshaft and spilled oil all over the track.
