not me, i have real sports to watch
lose weight

Shut the fuck up you favela monkey

Imagine entering a tournament with a 1/8700 chance to win...yikes. Anyway I'm in to watch.

Who /tagfish/ here?

what's a tagfish lad?

cringe
based

Someone who plays a predictable tight-aggressive game. It works at lower stakes, but the pros usually figure you out.

Top 1000 or so get prizes though

Does anyone else get ASMR tingles listening to shuffling chips?

Who here likes going to Vegas?

Is luckcard a sport?

Is there anyone worth watching?

I only watched because there were personalities who made the game fun to watch because to be honest, poker is a boring thing to watch live.

Lately, besides Qui Nguyen, every WSOP main event winner has been the typical 20-30s online poker whiz with no personality.

I rather see someone who "gets lucky with big hands" like Darvin Moon win the whole thing than another bland in his 20s online poker pro.

Johnny Chan is still in it, as is Mike Matisse. They have a good stacks and should make deep runs.

Matusow. Sorry.

>dying to host a home game
>all the people i know who play are either degenerates i wouldn't want at home, or good friends who suck at cards and will bet $1 into a $60 on the river with 93o

Is an luck a athlete?

For me, it's Mikey McDermott.

That looks like some kind of movie

No limit Texas hold ‘em is the only pure sport left

I loved 90s/early 00s Poker where the best players were the oldschool gambler type characters

BASED

Qui Nguyen was undeniably fun but he wasn't actually very good. Just lucked his way deep and then his big stack and unpredictable, aggressive style carried him to the win.

Poker is just a pure game of chance like who wants to be a millionaire

Is Yea Forums really that bad that you have to be posting here?

Imagine being this much of a mathlet.

Depends of the laws of your country
I was a poker dealer, in France (haute garonne) there was a trial to determine if poker was a strategy game or a luck game, it took YEARS and in the meantime everyone could open game room or "poker circle" since it was so hard to prove luck is more important than strategy. I made $$$ working there then left when Partouche/Allianz casino (dont remember which one it was) decided to corrupt the judges to close all poker rooms in france except 1 or 2 in Paris because casinos were losing money lel

Tldr; its strategy not luck

Yes

No it's not, if it was luck you could go sit down and win at any poker table. Go and try this, especially online, with no knowledge of the game, and see how far you get.

Protip, you'll lose

My buddies and I all take turns hosting a .25/.50 blind cash game. We regularly get over $900 worth of buy ins.

It's not the casino, but you can walk out up $300 or more easily

never seen one live, only reruns, I'll have to check it out, thanks

anybody wants to play some hu on stars?

I'd play you if I didn't live in this godforsaken hellhole

For me, it's video poker.
