Can we all be honest, that was a fucking terrible match.
Both teams were shit, we're all lucky the mexicans managed to accidentally get a shot on target which, surprise, went in because everyone on both teams is dogshit. If we got a mile of border wall for every wasted chance in that match we'd keep out beans and leafs.

USMNT was too onions and casual, Mexico played more like warriors, and in Gold Cup virtually every other team is made up of players who grew up in adversity, so the lack of cards is probably to reflect that.

And there weren't actually that many bad challenges, just lots of pushing and shoving.
