The playoff system tries every year to put 2 SEC teams in every year, the only reason we don't consistently see Bama vs. Georgia in the finals is because Georgia chokes.

OSU dug their own grave by failing miserably the year before when the committee gave them a chance on basically the same team. Putting georgia in was objectively the correct move. Winning the big10 is like Hawaii or Boise state or UCF going undefeated. No one cares because it's extremely easy to do.
