Best Nba individual performance?

>Kobe's 81 points in 42 minutes against the Toronto Raptors, in 2006

>Tracy Mcgrady's 13 points in 35 seconds against the San Antonio Spurs, in 2004

Kobe's 81 points was the biggest ballhogging ever
T-mac's performance was more impressive desu

His 60 in his last game was worse.

Didnt wilt score 100? Best individual season is a better discussion

the correct answer is
>Klay Thompson's 37 points in one quarter

Also T-Mac was a come from behind scenario

Dirk in the 2011 playoffs

Allen Iverson's entire career

This 2bh

>only 3 all-nba first teams
>no defensive capabilities whatsoever
>shot 42% FG
>shot 31% 3-pt
>not even a fantastic FT shooter either at 78%
>played 42 minutes per game but only averaged 26 points per game
>crazy high utilization rate but less than 4 assists per game
no

>>only 3 all-nba first teams
cringe
>>no defensive capabilities whatsoever
he's like 5 feet tall
>>shot 42% FG
>>shot 31% 3-pt
>>not even a fantastic FT shooter either at 78%
everyone in that era had inefficient shooting stats
even with that, his FG wouldve been a lot better if he weren't the only person on his team capable of scoring
>>played 42 minutes per game but only averaged 26 points per game
again, his era had inefficient shooting stats and people actually played D
>>crazy high utilization rate but less than 4 assists per game
his teammates can't score

bow to your god Iverson or get nuked again

Hakeem's quadruple double. Bird's triple double with 9 steals where he sat out the entire 4th quarter. Magic's triple double with 42 points where he started as the center at 6'9" in Game 6 of the finals when Kareem was out injured in his ROOKIE year.

VWELL MUDDA SICK

Literally came here to post this bey.

Wilt's 100 was a farce. The game was non-competitive, for one. Teams simply don't leave star players in for the length of blowouts anymore. The Knicks were a 27-45 team minus their starting center in that game.
The real farcical thing about that game, though, was that the Knicks were playing hack-a-Wilt and the Warriors were intentionally fouling the Knicks as quickly as possible whenever the Knicks had the ball so they could get the ball back and feed it to Wilt again with as little time coming off the clock as possible.
All of Wilt's teammates were feeding him with intent and passing up wide open shots to do so.
Kobe's 81 was more impressive. That was a competitive game and he needed to score 81 to win it. He also wasn't simultaneously the largest and most athletic player on the court for it. Kobe's 81 was an all-time example of determination and skill.

>Kobe
>determination

I wish I was that good. He didn't light us up for 81 though

LeBron game 6, legacy on the line and he looked like a monster on that court

Gilbert' 60 vs the Lakers

scoring 81 points when you shoot it 98 times isn't impressive it's blatant ball hogging.

jalen "99% sure" rose

That one wasn't even ballhogging. After the first half it was essentially shootaround with all other people on the court including the Jazz rebounding for him. I still kek when LA media kobr dickriders act like it was a real game

Steph curry destroying the rockets at home after scoring 0 point in the first half.

Lebron speechless, pretending to be surprised at death of somebody he never even met.
Best individual performance.

Lebron's cavs in the 2018 playoffs. I never seen such a complete fucking trash team able to be carry so hard by one dude to the finals since based AI and his sixers.

And how fitting they were both btfo. At least AI won game 1

there would be pitchforks either way. if he didn't comment they would be pissed too. he is so big that he's expected to know everything in the basketball world.

I remember this one LOL.
Bronsexuals blaming the chick for the "ambush" interview making ledumb awkward and speechless.

Fuck off Porch Monkey

Yes
Wrong

can i get a rundown?

Jokic fastest triple double in history

- spurs coach popobitch's wife dies
- since popobitch is a liberal fem icon, the nba thought this is an opportunity to exploit.
- after the game, tv candy allie laforce asked lebronk if she could get a reaction from him about the death of somebody he never met. Lebonk said yes.
- camera starts rolling but lebronk remembered he wasn't coached yet about his honest reaction.
- He stammered, became awkwardly speechless. this will not be in his cherry-pic, advanced stats
- bronsexuals starts blaming semen demon laforce about the "ambush" interview. saying lebronk was deeply affected by the sudden death of the wife of another teams' coach after suffering from an "illness for an extended time"
- elevator ernie johnson came to the semen demon's rescue by stating that laforce asked lebronk first
- lebronk was to forced to admit that fact and the nba scrambled to get some reaction from other nba stars but not on camera

Kobe was playing with bums. He had no choice but to shoot that much.

Chamberlain is a statistical monster. If you're going to pan his 100 point game, then I'll put forth his 50 rebound game. The guy was by far the most dominant player of his era and is one of the most dominant players in professional basketball history. If it weren't for his terrible free throw shooting, he'd easily be the greatest center ever.

The 100 points game was a joke like most of the games of those years
They were playing for stats and games were like the recent all star games with no defense
They reached a point were NBA had to force them to stop because no one was going to the games and NBA was dying

The season Wilt averaged 50ppg they didn't even had a 50 wins season, how the fuck can you lose so much with 50ppg and playing with Arizin, one of the 50 best players of all time, and Gola, Meschery, Rodgers that are pretty good players?

excellent take. I'd also like to add he's one of those type of players that had a big impact on a generation of ball fans that can't really be seen in stats. Legit put the team on his back most of his time in Philly. I remember in middle school AI's Reebok's were that hottest thing going.

Whats the argument for Kobe not being better than Lebron? I noticed a lot of fans tend to say Kobe was overrated

Every advanced stat that I know of says Kobe was the inferior player. Lebron even has better "intangibles".

Over the span of 9 years, with 2 different teams and 3 different head coaches. Literally the one consistent ingredient for having the best offensive rating was Nash. Most underrated player ever. He should be a lock in everyones top 3 pg of all time.

>If it weren't for his terrible free throw shooting, he'd easily be the greatest center ever.
You could say the same about Shaq.

Steve Nash was a black hole on defense.
That being said, I miss watching him. He was a lot of fun.

Also, had Steve Nash decided to shoot more, I think he could have had a similar impact on the game to Stephen Curry.

"intangibles" as in "can't be proven and measured"?
"intangibles" as in "stats that are not recorded"?

let's see what that hamster inside your head is on to.
