>english goalkeeping
Yikes
>Even worse than Diego Lopez and Adan
Diego Lopez is just severely underrated, even worse than Fabianski.
If Joe "Joey" Hart had been brazilian, argentinian or italian, he'd have been hailed as a top 3 GK. Instead, he was the laughing stock of the british media bullies, who basically kicked him out of the National Team and Manchester City.
Fuck the Daily Mail. He was supposed to be our Gordon Banks and we destroyed his career.
He lost his confidence and has the yips now
He was never good to begin with

Keepers just have a tendency to disappear, it must be that they suddenly break under overwhelming pressure. Also sometimes it seems that goalkeepers aren't really valued, Liverpool played with Mignolet for a long time, Barcelona was doing fine with Valdes and Cillessen.

Meh, he became better after he left real, but he wasn't anything special.
Too much dandruff
He was great in Real, comparable to Navas.
Not at all, the only reason he was playing was because of Mourinho's reluctance to put politics aside and let Casillas play.
He wasn't anything special really.
If you've actually watched all games he played he made many more mistakes than his predecessors did
spbp. he was only considered good because he had a defense doing the job for him. defenders are always underappreciated
I'll admit I've watched very few games from that era of Real, but every time I was impressed with his agility and well-composed style of play. Guess I just like goalkeepers like him.
A bit more than a week ago I asked about an upcoming tournament after not playing for months.
You told me I was fucked.
We won the entire thing.
Other teams sucked, though.
>he was only considered good because he had a defense doing the job for him
The reason he was City's starting keeper was because of his good performances at Birmingham, he was their player of the year and in the Premier league team of the season
