Why do sports teams exist outside of New York and LA?

These two cities always dominate all the championship discussion, free agency discussion, draft discussion, economic discussion, cultural discussion, political discussion etc.

Why do teams exist outside of these places?

Ah yes, time to post this again.

Not one single Top 10 U.S. company is based in either NYC or LA.

5 is literally in the same state as LA

really amazing how much money ny/la teams have but they still cant win the nfl, mlb or nba since they get mogged by some boston franchise. scathing refutation of the burger classic cope of "we'd win x sport if only we cared about it, we have the money and the population"

The Nets, NY's 2nd team are literally title favorites for the next 4 years
The Lakers are title favorites as well once they get Kawhi

>favourites
this is just code for "look how much we spent tho", mavs taking kp and luka was a much better move but it doesn't get hyped up as much since US media is based on the coasts for the most part. the nets are minnows.

Go on google maps and check how long a drive that particular city is away from your beloved LA

No they're just rounded out by a billion other forms of business and commerce.

Its less than an hour flight

At least 4 of those are tiny cities in lowly populated areas. Just because a company decides to set up HQ there doesn't mean there's money. You're trying to tell me Bnetonville and Omaha are major business centers in the world? Get the fuck out of here.

Just a wild guess but probably some american people don't live in NY or LA?

So is most of England from London or Manchester but you don't see residents of Swindon or Crewe taking credit for their economies.

>tax shelter states actually believe this is an argument in their favor

Oh, he coaches the Raiders now?

>why yes, I am from the midwest. How could you tell?

This entire thread is bad bait, but here I am replying to you

The Nets are stacking players now but every other franchise in both cities is a meme. The fact that the Rams and Dodgers have both lost major championships makes LA the biggest meme. Meanwhile NY has just been mostly irrelevant.

of the 7 I know of the only one this might be relevant for is Exxon the rest are just basically where they were founded

>Irving,TX

I fucking hate working in that hell-hole Corp city

>implying New York is in the same tier as Los Angeles
David Stern said it loud: his best finals would be Lakers vs Lakers.

Only for the LelBA does LA and NYC get all the attention and even then the dynasties went to Chicago, Boston and Golden State
Other cities gets mentioned more then them, particularly Boston

And they're basically given free money to not embarrass the city by moving out. Corporate America is not different than sports teams demanding handouts or they relocate.

with the exception of the yankees in mlb, all other sports are dominated by teams outside ny/la

nba: boston
nfl: new england/pittsburgh
nhl: montreal (detroit if you only include american cities)

Because is patetic. Look Clippers, nobody want to be the second option.

>of the 7 I know
>not putting appropriate levels of research into your posts

ok but right off the top of my head california does this to keep hollywood there and nyc wanted to give billions in subsidies to amazon for a 2nd hq months ago

I understand what you're saying but it's not unique to any state so I don't know what that proves

swap la for Boston

Is this the thread where we make fun of the Dodgers, Yanks, Mets, Angels, Rams, football Giants, Jets, Lakers, Clippers, Knicks and Nets? Cuz I was looking for that thread.

Boston has been fucking killing them both

>the nets are favorites
Kd is out for the year and kyrie is cancer. How the fuck are they the favorites to win anything

200 billion is actually a lot of money friend

Wait til 2020-21 when kd is back. Dominique Wilkins came back from an Achilles better than pre injury and KD is better than Nique

FUCK lOTH aNGELETH

Lol

stop being such a fucking bitch

What part of LA are you lads from? Sinaloa here.

LA isn’t in Mexico

But México is in LA ese

Can’t argue with that

>one of them is going to be burned to the ground and the other is going to be underwater
But hey, at least you have good food, right?

Based midwest user

Reigning champions of the big four leagues
>MLB: Boston
>NFL: Boston/Providence suburb
>NHL: St. Louis
>NBA: Canada

nice """""""""championship discussion""""""""" you got there

let me do it again but including runner-ups and semifinalists
>MLB: Boston, Houston, LA, Milwaukee
>NFL: Boston suburb, Kansas City, LA, New Orleans
>NHL: Boston, Raleigh, St. Louis, San Jose
>NBA: Toronto, Milwaukee, San Francisco, Portland

How come that Milwaukee, a literal flyover city that nobody could care about if they tried, has been in as many semifinals/conference finals as LA? Milwaukee only has two teams, LA has like seven and that is without counting the Anaheim Ducks that are part of Greater LA.
How come that a Canadian city has won more U.S. sports leagues than Los Angeles in the past twelve months?

its another episode of some fat EBT spic thinks he's special because he lives 4 families to a two bedroom apartment in LA

I'm from a northern suburb of Milwaukee and just moved to a 40 acre farm in northern wisconsin. I haven't seen a black or mexican except on TV in 3 months. Everywhere I go are happy white families with both a mom and dad present. As much as I love it, Milwaukee truly is a complete shithole and it's only getting worse. There are daytime weekday shootings constantly now, the nogs used to save that shit just for holidays and weekends at like 3 AM

Man that's embarrassing. The villagers in Cupertino are laughing at LA for bandwagoning their accomplishments.

AHAHAHAHA SUCH DELUSION

Most national commercial buyers have limited margins but the good news is that there's a consistent demand for them and a low price point.

Coca Cola knows that if NYC watches ESPN it maximizes the buy potential over the Utah Jazz by 10-15x.
