I don't understeand all this elitism. Of course women's sport is at a lower level but it doesn't mean it can't be interesting on its own right if you don't set your expectations so high. If female volleyball and tennis are as prestigious as the men's version despite the difference in performances even football can with the right changes (goals sizes,less time, smaller field...). Also the attention gathered by the world cup will bring more money to the pratice, that means better trained players,better coaches and more interest from young girls (bigger player pool). It will be a better version of what we have now in the future thanks to this word cup.
