Zaha at 7m in midfield is already template, might double up with Mili for the penalties as well

why wont it let me renew leagues

Had the same issue so I'm just making new ones

What IDs did you lads get?
2305 here

everyone expensive as fuck

fucking horrible you shit cunt

>pukki
top kek

Jesus everyone is so expensive this year.

Is buying all the penalty merchants the best strat lads?

I dont think VAR changed how many penalties are given in leagues

You'd be right. iirc it's actually made it go slightly down.

Welcome to every year

De Bruyne at 9.5 is /essential/ btw lads

cheeky noble in my team

It's not even close to like this every year. They cut the price of the teams between 3rd and 6th but the teams from 7th to 10th have been priced the same as teams like Arsenal, Chelsea and Man United.

I really want him but it's very difficult to get sterling, salah, premium defence and him i'm finding. doesn't help the mid table fullbacks and keepers are fucked in price

this is my first draft team so far. Otamendi, zinchenko and stones are all 5.5m so i'll have whichever of them look nailed in pre season or swap to PVA if none

hows your team looking with de pooyne in?

don't mind the noble shout. Matt ritchie takes pens and is listed as a defender this year, if new manager swaps to 4 at the back he may play in midfield

Attached: Screenshot 2019-06-27 at 18.31.33.png (586x599, 114K)

I chose KDB, Kane, Jiminez and Robertson and just autoselected the rest. Will tinker around later

Doherty is the same as Robertson last year m8

because you can't use it first week dummy.

There we go mines all set, see you losers in August.

Attached: 1554444629260.png (885x929, 191K)

League still pretty empty, are there other ones?

i think the renew league thing isnt working yet

It is. I've renewed mine.

WELL IT DOESN'T WORK FOR ME, maybe because i changed my team name dunno.

Do you actually own the league? Renew is for league owners to renew their leagues. It doesn't mean you rejoin all your old leagues. OP has to renew and you automatically join

oh

I made a league last year for Yea Forums and it didn't appear on my list of renewed leagues

These prices are actually unworkable

Triple up on Villa and pray with their nice fixtures is my strategy right now. Ederson/VVD/TAA/Mane/Aguero will do the rest.

>people sleeping on Tottenham
inb4 5-0 vs Villa on opening day with KANE hattrick and Alli brace

Why TAA over Robertson if they're the same price

Evening r/sports, please rate my team ;)

Attached: fpl1.jpg (609x581, 91K)

TAA was a bigger attacking threat by the end of last season. Takes a few set pieces too

because TAA is a better player, more crucial to liverpools attack, on corners, got more assists despite playing less, can actually score. he would've gotten the most points for defenders if it wasn't for injury.

Also, tempted by Zinchenko, but will he actually play?

>jota as a striker
gay
>jota only 6.5
nice

he's fucking garbage though and will be rotated, especially for the big games given he literally can't defend

lads why can't I see my ranking history?

>he won't play the big games
>has played the last 2 champions league finals

Mendy is back fit so I'm going to wait and see what happens in pre-season and the community shield

why is Son red flagged?

If you click on him it'll tell you

chut up!

Some Sheff Utd fodder to consider would be O'Connell or Basham (when he gets into the game, is missing for some reason) given the way they play. They're actively involved in the attack, Basham even roaming up to join Sharp in free play sometimes.

Sharp himself is a good 6.0m pick if you need to plug a 6.0m gap up front. I'd back him to score a few next term. He's aged like a fine wine.

Liverpool defence is mad expensive now.

TAA/Robertson for 7 mil

How the actual fuck is McNeil 6.0m?

What's wrong with Pukki?

>Redmond

r8 or h8
if youre wondering why ive got shaw, awb, and rashford in its because Im a poonited fan

Attached: myteam15.png (586x553, 111K)

>Wan-Bissaka for 5.5
Not worth it. United aren't solid in defense and this signing won't fix the issue. Plus he doesn't offer much going forward.
>Ake
Bournemouth can't defend.
>Kante
Get a 4.5 who regularly plays for your bench.
>Brooks
Redmond is the better choice at that price. If you want a Bournemouth asset, Fraser should be your first choice.
>Felipe Anderson
He wasn't as involved in the offense in the second half of last season and I don't think that will change. At 7.0 you can just get Zaha or Maddison who will offer far more returns.

>Murray
Last season he went on very long dry spells and he is turning 36 this year so I don't expect him to improve. The managerial change is also a weird one because Chris Hughton was the only reason this shit side didn't get relegated so I would stay away from Brighton.
>King
I don't think he's worth it because he's overshadowed by Wilson and now they're even sharing penalty duties (King used to take them by himself before). Jota is a better pick at that price.
>Aguero
Amazing player but hard to justify the price when you can have Auba or Kane for 1.0 less.

>Stones
Rotation risk. Zinchenko is safer for the price.
>Bernardo
Great player but he doesn't score a lot for his price.
>Richarlison
No point getting him when he is the same price as Sigurdsson who benefits from set pieces.
>Origi
Backup player.

>Dendoncker
Good bench player but I would never start him.
>Calvert-Lewin
Not good enough and Everton will probably try to secure a better striker. I see DCL as a rotation player.
>Jorginho
Not worth it no matter how you intend to use him. I'd downgrade 1 premium player (Sterling or Kane) and upgrade 3rd mid and striker.

>Trippier
High risk/high reward type of player, but may be worth a go.
>Silva
Not worth the cost.
>Mcwhatever
Mediocre in the Championship, won't stand a chance in the Prem.
>King
Not worth it when there are better alternatives.

Jorginho was on pen when Hazard was out

wow thanks coach

Calvert Lewin is just there for now, as for Jorghinho, because this thread says he takes penals.

Milivojevich for pens is a good shout too

First draft. Not really looked hard at opening fixtures, just trying to string together a team with some big hitters, some threat in midfield and 14 starters.

Attached: Screen Shot 2019-06-28 at 09.07.31.png (1182x1142, 400K)

Well, 13, as I can only afford to do the 4.5m and 4.0m second choice keeper strategy rather than a 4.5m shitter rotation. Still loads of players missing from the game so I think people complaining about prices will eventually see some bargains added.

feel like pure shit just want him back x

Attached: 1532174301406.jpg (400x400, 23K)

Well I went in blind and didn't realise there was a bench. All I've ever seen were pictures of 15 lads otherwise I would have downgraded. Can I fix this?

Attached: woops.png (1755x1801, 571K)

lmao based willian

Attached: 321.png (620x744, 134K)

139 vs 181 last season whilst Jota was in midfield aint impressing me, plus Jim rotates with Neves on pens

Fair dues. A lot of Jota's deficit to Jimenez can be put down to his managed minutes until December-ish. Tail end of the season he was their key source of threat.

What are we thinking about Giroud, boys? Worth a shot?

Cheap defender picks.
Small brain: Tarkowski
Medium brain: Aarons

Lads

What about Emerson

Le gives away cheap penalties man

Going to be a low scoring season. If you can consistently break 50 a week you'll do quite well.

some good value in Newcastle, Perez at 6.5m in MF is a steal too. If they bring in /ourguy/ Mourinho I'll be all over their lads

He already said he's not interested

>Basham (when he gets into the game, is missing for some reason)
I wanted Basham too. Was my first choice 4.5 defender, but he's not there for some reason. But he'll probably be 5.0 like Enda Stephens.

>Fornals is 6.5

Attached: fpl.png (876x858, 170K)

Is Brooks worth 6.5?

How much is Wan-B now? £6m?

Massively inflated prices this year, and it’s only going to get worse

5.5

no

Why get Doucoure over Pereyra, and why get Jimenez, Pereira and Chilwell at those prices when their fixtures suck? Also you don't need to spend that much money on a GK backup to Man City.

Alison with a £4.5m back up.
A good idea or a bad one?

Any recommendations or should i scrap it and delete my account

Attached: Pleasedontbemean.png (885x933, 188K)

Alisson is the cheapest way into Liverpool defence but has a way lower points per million. If you can afford tripling up on Liverpool without Alisson, do it, but if you're going to use Alisson, play him every game and have a 4.0. There's barely any good 4.5 keepers this year anyway. All 5.0's now.

Delete your account and have sex

Never fall for the Bournemouth defence meme. People do this year in year out and it never has worked.

Otherwise outside of Jota's awful fixtures, pretty good. I probably wouldn't have Holebas because he's a booking magnet and Watford aren't so good defensively he's worth it at the price. You probably want whichever of Janmaat or Femenia plays in the preseason more.

This really. The 4.5m rotation tactic looks pretty dead right now.

Not sure what the reasonning was to do a low scoring year. Doesnt sound like a good idea to make even a good week unimpressive, and its not like it will reduce "template teams" that much

Even John fucking Fleck is 5.0m.
Madness.

5m for a centre mid who plays every single game and is involved in the attack is pretty great. Fleck is actually one of the better priced players this year. Honestly not a bad price at all given his form last season. I'm more concerned about the fact Enda Stephens is 5m. They're really afraid of another Doherty happening. It's Sheffield United ffs.

Are good 4.5m GKs exist?

Heaton

Ryan will be good later in the season if Graham Potter hasn't been sacked and has his philosophy in place. Swansea liked to dominate possession and force bad shots and were routinely let down by a shit keeper. Whoever the wheel of Southampton keepers lands on might be a solid choice but by the time they've settled on one they don't really have a good run of games until November. Same can be said for Burnley but they get their good run in September, much more convenient. Nyland might be decent given their fixtures but it's hard to tell if Villa are just going right back down immediately.

Oh yeah, the forgotten guy. What about the keeper of the promotion clubs?

Can a player’s price increase before the season starts? Asking for a friend

Pickford set and forget la

Yeah but I'll switch in December

Attached: Screenshot_20190628-155550_Chrome.jpg (1079x855, 169K)

No

These are the fixtures you want him for though, remember the last time they met United, Arsenal and Chelsea

Who's the 4.0 defender? Any chance of Wan Bissaka 2.0?

Seen murmurings of Gibson at Burnley. We'll see in the preseason. Too early to tell right now.

doubt it, get 4.5s for backup

Too much money on the bench. Playing 4 or 5 defenders can be a good tactic because of their value, but you can save money on your backup keeper and get at least 1 minimum priced bench player so that you can invest a bit more in a reliable captain (e.g. Salah).

This is the same tournament where Luca Waldschmidt looks like prime Ronaldo. Take it with a grain of salt. Plus, we have yet to see where Fornals fits in at West Ham. He plays a similar role to Lanzini, and between the two of them I would rather have the Argentinian at 6.5.

Not too bad honestly, but like I said to the other user: don't leave so much money on your bench. You want to use it in your starting XI. Also, there is nothing wrong with taking a couple of punts (like your Perez pick), but when you have too many risky players (Trippier, Ake, Bernardo, Pukki, etc.) you will probably suffer as a result.

The only decent choice honestly. Burnley should be a bit better since they won't have to think about European football. The only other choice is Ryan, but I can't see him getting more clean sheets than last year and he was abysmal then.

Simpson will step up at B'mouth.

Not sure about that. He only started the final 3 matches of last season because Bournemouth had injury problems. In those 3 matches, Bournemouth conceded 8 goals and in the final match Simpson scored an own goal and got subbed off for Mepham in the 70th minute. I think Ake, Cook, and Mepham are all preferred over Simpson at CB.

Grealish or El Ghazi? Going with El Ghazi because Grealish might get sold

Also, with Lampard probably going to Chelsea, is it worth buying one or two Chelsea youth players? Contemplated getting Abraham, as I think lamps with play the youth a lot more

Whoever is up top for Chelsea will be amazing value unless they decide to just price Tammy at like 8m or something stupid. Really cheap team offensively.

Travers or Gunn

Chelsea dont have a player above 7m

Though you should make another H2H as I put a 16 limit on the one I made; doesnt make sense when there's too much people in it

ok

heres league code: chluw6

why is everyone ignoring Aguero? he's still good old Aguero

People prefer Sterling's explosivity over Aguero's consistent 60 minutes and 5-10 pointers, I guess.

1m more than Kane, he aint getting any younger, pep rotation, hard to fit in team with last seasons good players jumping up in price.

Attached: boring.png (868x843, 207K)

>thinking United defence is of value with Ole at the wheel
Otherwise pretty ok outside of Jimenez having shit fixtures where he won't justify his price and wasting money on a keeper sub for Ederson when you have no bench outfielders of value

why not have both then? city score so many goals
kane is shit

KDB is several million cheaper
I just have Mane/Aguero as premium attackers and put all my money in defence though.

considering getting all 3 of them, city will steamroll the league (again)

With this year's prices that would give you a subpar defense

sheffield united will bomb this season desu. can't sign any players and the squad's not strong enough

Yeah but you're having a 5m midfielder as your bench player to get a secure 2 points for cheap just in case or maybe more vs the shit teams. Nobody's going to start Fleck week in week out. Camarasa type player.

why not just get a 4.5?

thanks coach

mkay

Attached: boring2.png (866x861, 202K)

It all depends on where you'd put the extra 0.5

Kane or Aubameyang? Both on the same price

Might get obama for the first two fixtures then sell for kane before GW3

Because there isn't a single one with any chance of getting goals/assists. You should have an extra 0.5m in the bank after like 2 or 3 weeks anyway.

>people here buying norwich and sheff utd “assets”
Norwich have shit fixtures for the first couple months and United will end up being one of the worst sides in PL history

Kevin Brown pissed me off last season, the crock kept getting injured immediately after I put him back in my team. 2.5m more for sterling is a big jump but worth it imo

>your dignes, your chilwells, your awbs, your dohertys, your trippiers
all overpriced trash. this is the year of 1 liverpool and 4.5 def chads.

Why the fuck are people still falling for the Ederson meme? I’ve never seen him keep a clean sheet in the PL and is the same price as Alisson who gets cleans sheets on a regular basis

Except for the fact Ederson got one less clean sheet than Alisson last season.

Norwich are going to do a Fulham. Free flowing attacking football doesn't work when most teams can defend and score at the same time in a better division.

For me, its

Attached: 1561748296410.jpg (1379x1600, 668K)

Dendoncker looked good at the tail end of last season, should be good enough as a bench player IMO

The prices are so shit. You cant have a premium in each position without having absolute trash for the rest because literally everyone is priced at 7m

Matt Ritchie classed as a fucking defender?

Really want Mane but I don’t know who to get rid of. Feel like my team is pure shite. Also feel like I should get rid of Sharp

Attached: AD59725C-4154-4EC2-87E9-980FF74BEAE4.png (750x1334, 1.05M)

/essential/

He played as a LB most of last season. But now that Rafa's gone the new manager will surely play him on the wing again. Only problem is Newcastle are so shit at scoring that even at 5.5 he's probably not worth it.

>100m for this team
howling

Haha time to make a team and then forget about it for the rest of the season

This better then

Attached: 79E62F4E-2D5A-40FC-97A5-E9E84AB193E6.png (750x1334, 1.06M)

Not enough man city cover imo, theyll pump 4 or 5 past teams most weeks

Too expensive

If you have Auba and Vardy but won't sign City attackers you may have bigger problems.

Attached: 4AD6A715-E382-402D-98DD-6506132BF000.jpg (750x1038, 195K)

Ditched Vardy for Wilson. Obama won the golden boot last year and nowadays you can only afford one premium forward in order to have decent players in other positions

El Ghazi > Grealish

Yes, but how many assists does Allison have? Besides, he has a girl name.

Yes, yes don't all copy this team at once

Attached: Screenshot_20190628-211708_Chrome.jpg (1440x2560, 957K)

Swap out Van Dijk for Laporte

Deulofeu and Trossard are good sleeper picks

>zinchenko
>jorginho

I think Jota and King are both better picks than Deulofeu at that price

Watford always start the season strong though. King might be good for GW1 since Sheffield are gonna be Huddersfield tier.

King takes penalties too so could be some good points if teams take a while to adjust to VAR

High prices are good because less template teams fuck template teams fuck fpl sites fuck fpl autistic twitter accounts come on you irons

The sheer volume of people who are going to have Jorghino first on the bench every week and miss out on points when he takes pens because nobody has the balls to start him will be hilarious.

don't know how everyone is having trouble making a good team desu

Mane is better, less at risk of rotation and 500k cheaper

>bilva
what has this guy done that makes it worth having him in your fantasy team

He is City’s best player, so that tricks a lot of people into thinking he is good for fantasy. Just like Kante is Chelsea’s best player but shite in fantasy

Kante was unironically good for fantasy last year

>not one 10m player

3 weeks in

Vardy
4 weeks in

he's the dilva replacement, is nailed and will play more advanced than he did this season

Worried I've gone for too many upper middle priced players and not enough of the 10m+ guys but if Vardy keeps playing like he did last season after Brendan came in he'll be a must have

King or Wilson?

Try to spread the money out a bit more instead of buying a few big hitters + lots of small shitters

Your team is lacking depth

If Lukaku leaves United Rashford will be a must have

Probably the best team in the thread.

How do you guys do it?

I get bored and forget about my team after a few weeks

A lot of players are still missing

So what have you got?

dunno, think it was probably a waste of money but that other fantasy football site thing costs £8 a MONTH

Thoughts? I will probably take Henderson as another 4.5m keeper if he goes on loan somewhere.

R8?

Went sterling over Aguero and mane over salah

Attached: Screenshot_2019-06-29-06-04-21-1.png (720x1111, 241K)

Decent. 3 potentially inconsistent forwards is a little risky though.

I haven't even been bothered to make a team yet. So boring without any cheeky cheap loanees available and almost everyone halfway decent last season has been hiked to a premium price. Defenders all expensive as fuck compared to last year.

I had extra 0.5 up my sleeve, so can afford Trent over VVD. Haven't really thought massively about fixtures yet desu. Might not take Jota from the beginning of the season. Might just select players based on them being nailed and with good fixtures to begin and wildcard in a team like this a few weeks in to build from until the new year.

It's good but do you need a 5.5 and a 4.5 keeper? Looks like they are encouraging set and forget this season.

I'd be tempted to go for Brooks over Fraser to save 1m and strengthen your bench. Eventually some 4.0m defenders and 4.5m mids will surface though.

Matt Targett off to Villa. Defender priced 4.5. Probably will be a starter there, and was utilised as an attacking full back by Southampton when he sporadically started for them. Could be a good one to get in.

Good shout fella' cheers

Is Wan Bissaka still worth it? He’ll still be picked up loads of bonus points and if anything he’ll probably get more clean sheets at United than he did at Palace

>people sleeping on Sigurdsson
Best fixtures out of anyone for the first 10 GWs probably

Bissaka improves uniteds shit defense, so not getting him because >United is silly

Yep, was going to post that. Might be a good option, have Elmo but apparently they got a new right back so he might be rotated.

Wan Bissaka was a good pick last year solely because of the 4m price. His returns weren't that good.

See who else they buy in defence before making a decision. They still need centre backs. You can do better at 5.5 as is

Currently deciding between him and Matip. Wan B is the better player but plays in a far inferior defence overall and has worse fixtures

Do we know who Southampton’s first choice keeper will be this season. Gunn or McCarthy looks like a steal (in terms of this season) at only 4.5

You want to get Travers anyway. Begovic has lost his place

>Bournemouth defence
Imagine

Can’t help but feel my team is inferior to everyone else’s on here and it’s making me depressed that I will face another year of ~500k rank mediocrity

Hello where is the value

I feel like last season I was able to have 3 premium players and still have a fairly strong, or at least, well balanced squad.

This year you're lucky to have w premiums without the rest of your team being overpriced shitters like Zaha and King

In defense. 4 at the back is the way to go i think.
i don't think zaha and king are overpriced

ready, lets go

Too much on defense

too much shit elsewhere

Digne is on setpieces, takes 3 times as many key passes and crosses. Coleman is a waste of 5.5m. Get somebody cheap and have an actual functioning bench.

3x Liverpool and City, rest are shitters.

Attached: Screen Shot 2019-06-29 at 16.54.59.png (659x691, 156K)

Siggy is always such a low key great pick. In the team of the season out of nowhere last term and loads of 10+ point hauls.

its funny because coleman had more points than digne in the last 10 gws or so but i'll take your point. dont give a fuck about bench right now desu unless i plan to bb in the first gw

At 8m he was the first player in my team.

Coleman has a higher average xG but Digne outclasses him in just about every single other stat. I feel like playing for periodic assists and bps on top of clean sheets works out better than explosive hauls from a defender scoring. Personal preference though. Go against template, forget I said anything desu.

Diop is surprisingly cheap

He's cheap if he goes to a bigger club. 4.5 is just right for a player averaging a return every 5 games.

For me it's Portuguese league rejects, a.k.a Tuga Rejects

>le good (expensive) player with no end product

What city lads are you fellas going for at the moment? I'm sitting on Laporte, Bernardo and Aguero right now and I'm a bit worried about Sterling and KDB

Ederson and Aguero. I'm going to wait and see who they sign before I do anything else. Walker is relatively cheap route in but if they sign a RB like the press rumor that plan goes out the window.

Also, Ghezzal is a relatively cheap way into Leicester attack :)

would swapping el Ghazi for Jorginho be worth it to try and fit Sterling in? feel like he’s the only premium city attacker who won’t fall victim to poop rotation too much

I agree. Would recommend everyone ITT signs Ghezzal.

Not falling for that again

Have you heard about our lord and savior Harvey Barnes?

Holy shit, Chelsea's squad is pathetic

I'd think about downgrading Long to a 4.5 or Elmohamady to a 4.0 to Swap Fabianski for Lloris or Digne for Van Dijk. You probably won't need all three bench players to be starters

It's good. Don't have Long though. Soton are signing Che Adams. Long won't get any minutes at all. Get a 4.5.

Cheers for the feedback, lads

Any particular reason to go for Lloris or is he just the best of the 5.5 keepers?

I'm native to Soton + go to a lot of home games and I was under the impression Hasenhuttl liked Long as a player? At least he seems to have done well in Hasenhuttl's system, but you know with Shane Long you're always getting an erratic striker

>Any particular reason to go for Lloris or is he just the best of the 5.5 keepers
I reckon Tottenham have the next best defense after City and Liverpool and Lloris actually matched Ederson in points per game last season

Didn't check, am I winning a car or an England trip?

>bournemouth defence
>wilson instead of king
>having two CBs, an LB and an RB but not placing them in their correct positions

Attached: 1547597958201.jpg (236x226, 14K)

I'd say it's probably more a case of Soton's strikers being shit and Long is the best of a bad bunch. Can't imagine them paying £15m for Che Adams and not using him.

Fair play, I've gone for Wickham as my 4.5. Thanks for the tip, user

There are literally two options for 4.5 goalkeepers with good early fixtures and they both have identical xGA for last season with Bournemouth having much better fixtures.

If you pick King over Wilson you're literally retarded.

Attached: 3d4ff055.jpg (250x187, 8K)

>If you pick King over Wilson you're literally retarded.
King is the better player and is on benuldies. At 1.5m lower in price he is superior to Wilson in almost every way

King and Wilson also have near identical xG and xA over the last 3 seasons on average.

>xAnything
Fuck off. Also you just admitted that King > Wilson as the both have the same stats but King is cheaper

Because King has played as the centre forward a lot when Wilson has been out. He's a good pick when Wilson is out but Wilson isn't out so far.

First time doing this. Pls rate.

Think Mane will have a better season than Salah
Think zinchenko is currently controlling LB at city. Mendy will need to win it back.
Andre Gomes I know is a bit of a waste but not much else for 5.5

Attached: 79619980-1B28-4FB6-A3B9-C2241F2F0CEF.jpg (828x1702, 872K)

Why Pukki isn't as popular as i thought he would be?

Could get one of the attacking mids from a promoted side instead of Gomes. El Ghazi, Stiepermann and Hernandez all have better potential for goals and assists than Gomes IMO

Not liking this gimmick

Everyone just wants a 4.5 that will play at a decent club. There's not that many better options at 5.0 or 5.5 to merit spending the extra cash.

You could save 1m doing Heaton/Diop over Fabianski/Tarkowski. Very template team. Nothing hugely wrong here.

Who will replace AWB at Palace? Ward or Kelly?

I reckon they'll sign somebody.

Thanks. Good shout. Gone for el ghazi

Double Wolves attack with awful fixtures.

Someone buy Bruno Fernandes ffs, need to put him in my Tuga Rejects team

Deulofeu for the first few weeks and the Jota after Wolves fixtures turn lads.

>Alexis is £7m
What a bargain. Surely the red hot superstar on 500k/w wage will give me amazing return weekly right?

Poor mans Daniel James

Basham has just been added and is 4.5m.
BUY BUY BUY.

And yes, he's listed as a defender. This could be the essential 4.5m DEF pick.

His fixture list isn't particularly great though. Hasn't got a clear path until November.

Literally who?

Exactly

Why Dendoncker? Let alone return, he's not even regular.

He became first choice for the last 3 months of the season after Wolves switched from a 3-4-3 to a 3-5-2.

Who the fuck is that

A CB who actually plays central midfield, gets into the box regularly and is nailed every week. A worthy bench pick for sure.

Help, who's the best 5.5 mid?

>Trossard
>6.0

What are they thinking with the prices this year?

That's a very good price given Graham Potter players really aggressive goalscoring football with wingers highly involved.

Dendoncker 4.5

No, he's filler. My last budget is 5.5 and i need someone decent either at mid or forward.

I'm going with Stiepermann. Don't@me

His fixtures tho

there are none

McGinn or El Ghazi probably

There's a couple more that *could* pay off but probably won't because there aren't really consistent 5.5's you can predict, you just take whoever starts the season strongly and pray.

Moutinho - Moved to a more offensive CAM role when Wolves went to a 3-5-2 at the end of last season
Westwood - Guaranteed starter, Burnley have decent fixtures in the first 3 months, no Europe to worry about this year
Onel Hernandez - Guaranteed starter for Norwich at CAM until they sign somebody new. Banged in the championship.

Here's one for you;

Best 6.0 midfielder? Literally impossible

Pereyra
Trossard
Potentially Yarmolenko if he isn't displaced by Fornals and a returning from injury Lanzini
Harvey :^) Barnes :^)

Townsend
Some mysterious promoted guy

Buendia and Grealish are the mysterious newly promoted 6.0's that had good form in the Championship but none of the newly promoted teams look like they're going to stay up.

343 is impossible this year

When defenders are getting more points for the same price as strikers why would you even want to anyway.

I'm stuck in the past when that formation was king

532 is the patrician formation since there are no good mids below 7

Yeah good luck finding 5 good defenders that don't need changing every week

robertson, van dyke, laporte, digne and some 4.5 defender with good fixtures are as nailed as can be

Enjoy NKetia and Deeney as your strikers and your 4.5 midfielders

He was bought specifically to replace Daniels but got injured

But he got injured just a few months ago and barely played before that

I think FPL managers need to start complaining about the starting prices if they get any higher than they are currently next year. This is getting ridiculous

nothing wrong with the prices, people need to stop picking only the one season wonder players who did well last season and look for smart picks

you need at least 1 playing striker on the bench if youre going with 1 striker formation

This. Drop Laporte to someone a bit cheaper and upgrade Wickham to some shit but slightly better forward (eg- shane long)

anything wrong with this team?

Attached: myteam17.png (582x559, 112K)

Those city players might get rotated, buy you can say that about most of their squad.
Digne, le Score 12 points then get -2 the next week
2 Bournemouth strikers

whats your favorite drum corps show and why is it downside up

Bump

With Kompany gone, Stones is nailed in the defence, why are people picking Laporte over him? Laporte is a better player, but that doesn't get you fpl points

>*starts mangala*

Attached: 20190701_123235.jpg (630x630, 109K)

I think he'll rotate between Stones and Otamendi depending on who they're playing

Thoughts on these lads?

Probably change it fifty times before the start of the season but i think it's an alright starting point.

Subs not in pic:

GK: Freddie Woodman

Def: Matt Targett

Mid: El Ghazi, Miguel Almiron

Attached: FPL team.png (897x577, 127K)

you have a lot of money sat on your bench at the moment, I'd downgrade at least 1 of Alimiron or El Ghazi and use the money to bring in Laporte or TAA

yeah i was thinking to switch one of them, originally I had a straight 4 - 4 - 2 but thought maybe keep sharp on in case SU have a lucky start.

I'm gambling as well on Maguire making a move to City, He'll probably start over Stones and would make a nice Kompany replacement

Tell me about Che Adams

Because they're going for Maguire

He's the mix of Ched Evans and Adam Johnson.

>he buys premium GKs
Big oofyikes from me if I’m honest

see who they sign
Basham's pretty integral but not the most natural footballer
Absolutely zero chance they can afford anyone as good as O'Connell at LCB. At 4.5m he's a fantastic shout.
Stevens another shout to get good points at 5m.
Norwood also takes set pieces and assists from deep.
Everyone will go for Billy Sharp for obvious reasons but don't expect him to play every game. They'll be signing two strikers anyway, chances are its McBurnie and Maupay.

dead game

Actually, Allisson and Ederson are worth the money. So are premium defenders. They are a significant step above their cheaper counterparts and are very efficient to own. The place where you really find cheaper players overperforming their price is in the striker category, so going with a couple of budget strikers is safer. You just want to have 2 premium players (preferably midfielders) who you can captain and the rest is about efficiency.

>worth the money
Not really as goalkeeper position is where 0.5 and 1 get you the lowest marginal increase in points scored

>lelds sell Clarke to spurs
>announce he is back on year long loan before spurs even announce they bought him

huge brain

what about xPoints. man city conceded a lot of goals from nothing last season, I bet ederson had higher xpoints than he actually got

time to spend weeks obsessing over every single player and then stop playing about 3 weeks in again

Liverpool will probably get like 4 or 5 less clean sheets than last year too

Why?

Because they overperformed on that part and the number of clean sheets is usually never that high even for top sides

If they did it last season they can do it next season

Anyone up for a cheeky draft?

As can City.

New

People talk about Fabianski being a great deal and overlook the fact that Allisson outperforms him when it comes to their efficiency with the new prices (points last season vs. current price). Allison is one of the most efficient picks you can make (only VVD and Robertson are better).
