I'm genuinely curious to know if other countries care about any US sports. Specifically are any Brits intersted in the upcoming Yankee Red Sox games coming to London this weekend? Is there talk about the series over there or can Brits care less? Also just post an American sport that is generating a buzz in your country, if there is one.

Hell yeah!

Hell yeah!

We hear a lot about the school shooting events you guys like to hold every other month

>can Brits care less?

Probably not possible pal

Cannot fathom playing a sport besides cricket, aussie rules, or rugby

Baseball is a hispanic sport

It has no business in London anymore

>NFL
Literally no one cares
>NHL
Literally no one cares
>MLB
Very few care but we are decent on the world stage so there might be some who are interested
>NBA
Way more people care about this than the other sports because it's the only sport out of the big four that doesn't absolutely suck, but the game times are just too inconvenient for us.

UFC also has some interest (from me) but again, the events are at awful times so I barely watch them live.

no lol

Hardly anyone here even cares about hockey t b h

I've met people interested in the NFL, MLB and NBA but I've not once met anyone interested in the NHL.

Yeah, I figured it's probably only relevant in the icy states like Minnesota. But it's still bigger than the MLS right (in terms of revenue and viewership)?

>the upcoming Yankee Red Sox games coming to London this weekend?
This is the first I’ve heard of this. BUT I’m sure there’s a market for it in London. People aren’t exaggerating when they say that London has very little in common with the rest of the UK these days. People from all over the world live there now. It’s like a globalist city that happens to be situated in Britain.

Well here many people care for baseball, some americaboos care about NFL just in the super bowl, and no one watched NHL and MLB

>baseball
Meant Basketball.

Yeah absolutely, only the cuck states like Washington and Oregon and spic states like Georgia are big into the MLS the rest of the country doesn't even know it exists

viadinho

>It’s like a globalist city
i was told it is a muslim city

A good ammount of people follow NBA, i guess it's because basket in general is decenty popular here. Never heard anyone talk about NFL or MLB tho

That's too bad, Italy is one of the best baseball countries in Europe.

I know one guy who watches NFL and baseball and a couple who watch the NBA but I've never met anyone who's into Ice Hockey

>Yankee Red Sox games coming to London this weekend?
wait what?
why?
what.

>trying to get the bongs interested in baseball by exposing them to the two most hated teams in the MLB

the only type of british people who like yank sports are the hipster types

some geeks care about nfl maybe because they played madden as a kid most people know of lebron but couldn’t give a shit about basketball hockey and baseball are literally who tier filling an arena in london isn’t hard those idiots will eat up any marketing gimmick i guess some of your boxers and mma fighters are pretty popular

We like american football and baseball

i have a couple of friends who are a bunch of lefties and each year they have a fucking super bowl sleepover. it's cringe as fuck.

Im argie only brits sport here lad

A few of my friends like handegg and watch it obsessively I gave it a try but it wasn’t for me.
If I’d heard about the baseball game before now I might have tried to go because I’ve never seen a baseball game before and it’d be interesting to see what it’s like. In answer to your question I think we feel the same way about your sports as you do about divegrass we’re aware of them some people over here really like them but for most others they’re either just a bit of a curiosity or something they’re not bothered with at all.

China is crazily obsessed with the NBA. Some (most young) Chinese prefer it over Superleague.

I know a Dutch Braves fan.

pakistanis, indians, poles, and blacks mostly

I strictly follow the chaseb owl championship

fair few yanks there as well

no one gives a flying fuck

Canadians follow the NFL and NBA and NHL...but we also invented football and basketball and hockey.
We def followed MLS and we didn't invent that.

Let's try making a list of countries where British sports arent #1:
USA
Canada
Japan
South Korea
Phillapeans
Estonia
Venezuela
Cuba
China

Any I miss?

Ice hockey is big in Sheffield. People turning up for matches in NHL jerseys. Also EIHL has zero Britishness. Fans just tend to copy North American culture with I found funny. Although average Joe doesn't know shit about NHL in Britain.

>invented football and basketball and hockey.
basketball yeah, but introducing a forward pass rule to rugby and playing hockey on ice isn't really inventing it.

>country is crazy for speed-skating
>thinks hockey sucks

>playing hockey on ice isn't really inventing it
