I play, am really good at soccer, and okay at boxing. Those are the only sports I’m good at tho, because I rarely leave my comfort zone in sports.

pretty much a walking blob but still technically gifted
it's a strange thing

>start playing soccer
>end up sucking dick
Well what did you expect fagroll

no way

going to get back into hockey when the rink opens up after summer
good thing about hockey is skill matters a lot more than physical conditioning

I sucked at football, no one wanted me in their team

I'm actually a well known local football player. AMA.

try noventaiocho

I play drop in soccer. Played today and didn't get a single good touch, made many mistakes. feelsbadman

What team do you play for? Inb4 Cucuta.

How many of your teammates play fortnite?

Santa Fe
none, they drink and beat women

I'm the fittest in every match. Play CB or LB. My issue is I am not technically gifted and literally cannot dribble past anyone to save my life. But I'm good in the box, I'm the fastest in the pitch and usually the strongest.

But its Sunday league. Used to play in HS and College. Never had the drive to learn when it mattered. Dont waste your youth guys.

lose weight

I play and watch Dota 2

Me too I remember that at school was a period when I was always picked first for my central back skills

>never play an organized soccer game outside of elementary gym class
>join sunday league with mexican/hispanic bros
>low level-tier college athlete in my day, good but dime-a-dozen
>33
>smoke like a chimney
>zero technical ability
>dab on 90% them like they don't exist
>quickly figure out why mexico never does shit internationally in soccer despite loving it
absolute shit-tier "athletes"

i compete internationally in equestrian

>never waste your youth
I'm young and wasted already oldman
guess you're a bit late, don't ya think?

I used to play football, do track, swim, and box. I wasn't a Chad, just one of those skinny Asians with a fuckton of extracurriculars (I identified myself as Latino on college apps because I'm Filipino kek). The only "sports" I do thesedays are billiards, bowling, and golf. I'm pretty shit at all of them (decent at bowling since I can regularly roll 200), but at least I kept myself from getting fat by running and lifting.

>says the faggot posting cropped tik tok videos to hide the fact they're tik tok
>also a leaf

I play street footy with the lads, basketball court lmao.

>does Yea Forums play any sports or you guys just watch?
I play 5-A-Side football like everyone else here. Unless you're playing a professional match you shouldn't be embarrassed user, have fun.

Lose violent crime rate and jealousy, commie scum.

So? How does my sexuality affect yours in any way?
Let's have sex.

>broke jealous commie sudaca
Opinion disregarded. Have fun with your ill-gotten gibs and lack of creativity, empathy, or upward mobility.

>best players all went to paid private clubs
Don't they have tryouts or scouts? Is this the only way to go pro in the states?

I was a defender in soccer. hated it and quit while in high school but see how it's getting popular. I should've stayed with it desu

If you want to play in college or pro you've got to be doing year-round soccer growing up, and club teams are the only way

>implying commies aren't actually the fattest ones that project to throw everyone else off

I still play basketball. I've got really long arms for my 6' height and am strong for my weight, so I've got good speed/endurance. My handles aren't great, but I make a pretty good defense oriented small forward that can score from putbacks, fast breaks, and open 3pters

Are club teams like soccer schools? All major teams here have soccer schools that allow progression into the pro teams, is it the same? Is there no tryout system at all? I mean one that allows total strangers to tryout.

How old are you now? Under the age of 16, all you need to be good is be really athletic. I was born in November, and so was usually smaller than others in my age group (it went by year born). Then after puberty, I caught up physically and realized how fucking shit everyone was and realized they were all pace/physicality babbies. Being the youngest in my age group meant I had to work on my technical skills to keep up with the older kids. I played against some of them years down the line and cringe at how shit they all became.

>fat American
That's redundant

>Le argentine never dribbled past van dijk

Clubs are like youth academies. College scouts check high school games but college players usually only get into MLS at best. MLS is doing youth stuff now but graduates still go through the draft

No, clubs are just local organizations which play against other clubs. Generally there are tryouts, but those just separate them into the a, b, c teams.

I played alot of basketball (PG) and football (QB) growing up before I fucked it up. I was a tremendous all around athlete. My football coach said i should switch to receiver now and I would be a "prototype" slot receiver and could easily get a scholarship to a big school that way. I had solid measurables back then 5'11 around 150 lbs I ran track so I had good speed (No clue what my 40 was) and I could dunk on a regulation rim so my vert was good.

Shit I even played baseball and was a good outfielder but i had no passion for it and couldn't hit, I hated playing that boring shit.

I was pretty well know locally before I blew it. I tried to play with a injury to my achilles and it "popped" when I went to pass and on my dropback i slipped on a spot that was wet from rain on the like 3rd play of the game. The surgery was a disaster and i re injured it the following year and that was it for me.

I've recently got back into shape and close to my playing weight (I've packed on muscle since). I reccomend a mix of cardio (running) with intermittent fasting. I wish I knew how effective that combo is when i was younger.

Also for all the yuropoors and 3rd world shiteholers, me and every guy I knew on EVERY team I was on would constantly bully our kicker/punter because he played your gay ass sport and any of the soccer players that weren't women. Those we would try to fuck, of course. We used to say there are no real athletes in soccer citing how your best player is a 4'11 retarded Argentinian midget that weighs about 11 grams.

Face it your sport is for emaciated brown people from 3rd world shitholes and women.

Can you even play handegg in a league if you’re not a pro or in school?

Here in Finland you can just join a team at the highest level (the only level) even if you’ve never played the game before.

outside of some real meme shit no, not exactly a sport conducive to people not in great shape in their 30s

I'm an old boomer who golfs every weekend now.

>technique babby

This was me, except I was a rugby lad and it's been a lot more than 5 years!

For about 18 months I've been involved with a ... I don't think 'club' is quite the right word, but let's go with that, called "Man v Fat". Basically it's a weight loss/get active scheme for fat lads. They don't market a particular 'thing' diet-wise, you can do what works for you, the only constant is that where my wife's weekly Weight Watchers meeting is turn up, get weighed and gossip, the Man V Fat meeting is a 6-a-side league. Even if you're shite at playing it works - you get bonus goals for your team by losing weight. Happened before that you can get utterly shagged on the pitch but because you've all lost enough weight you actually win the fixture when it's all totted up.

It's worked for me, since I started I've dropped 16kg, which might not sound a huge amount but I've not done much actively, just cut down what I eat (read: tried to stop snacking!) and walked a bit more (eg going for an evening stroll round the neighbourhood for an hour or so every day), but I feel better and my skills have gone from utter dogshit to mere garbage!

It's in the UK so not hugely useful to you, OP, but it's also moving into Oz I think. And there's nothing stopping you looking into it and maybe starting your own version if you can find enough guys to join you. Doesn't have to be formal, could be as simple as "lads, we're all fat fucks and I'm sick of it. If we all play together at least we'll run out of breath at the same time"!

Field Hockey is the best sport to play desu.
>Bunch of lads there for a laugh and a pint
>qt girls with thick thighs
>Majority white sport

Only problem is its a massive effort to get to the pitches in places like london.

Back in middle school/high school my body was toned and I could actually play basketball and football every day and feel great. Now I'm a scrawny soft mess who gasses out after a minute of activity.

I was always pretty decent at football and before I moved to the states I played for the youth of a Chilean club. I just got injured too many times and gave up to focus on schooling when i turned 15.

I tried out for a soccer team when I was a teenager. I got to train with them for about 4 months, but my skill level and endurance was very much behind the other guys. It was my first time playing soccer more seriously. One time, I was in a 3 v 3 spar match and was playing as a defender. I hit a really awesome form and no one was getting past my standing tackles. The coach even noticed. I guess when you hit a crazy rare momentum, your brain adopts an elevated mindset which exudes confidence. You feel amazing, but it can slip away easily if you don’t know what you’re doing. I still didn’t make the cut, but my experience there made me see the value of playing in the backline in an age when every cocky kid wants to play forward.

Is memeing a sport?
