Oh, and forgot to report yesterday that I encountered a bunch of teenagers from wealthy families. They all had some expensive road bikes, mostly Bianchi. Saw them at the river fooling around while riding back, after 20 minutes, on a climb, they rushed past me out of nowhere.

Hi there fellow german bike enthusiast, here's the new bike I bought. If you only know low end bike brands, let me dumb it down for you. This is called a Bianchi Oltre XR4, worth an amusing €15000. Money isn't a problem, but that's not something you can understand. This bike easily costs more than the shitty car you drive, if you even own one.

Tour de Suisse has been abysmal at every level so far.
Lack of competition, lack of good coverage, lack of harder routes.

I've been on the St Gottard and it is an absolutely kino climb with nice cobbles toward the end

The routes are plenty hard. Look at today, yesterday and sunday vs dauphine. TdS is way harder, but dauphine is raced harder for sure.

I'm pretty sure I saw him at the Dauphine. I would bet he is paid to be there.

You inspired me to wash my bike today. I just did a lazy job in 5 minutes but it is good enough. It always amazes me how much dirt comes off the jockey wheels

The problem is with all the shifting parts and the joints, how to clean it....best way is to use some sort of high pressurized water/air to get anything out.
Or demount the wheels, gears, and cassette and whatever.
So much work.....going to bed now, after that I will try to fix my gear not shifting properly into a smaller cog, rattling and jumping.
Might be worn out cassette and chain.

It will be a pain, because I have no mounting stand to fix the bike and free spin it.
