As sad as it is, you have to shift priorities. If your team ain’t gonna win a SB, then watch for rivalry games and pulling upsets. If you’re here, you like the game. Watch the game, have fun. That’s the point.

Because this year’s free agent class was extremely overrated and Ballard knows he’s going to have to pay a lot of his core team next season, so he’s leaving cap space for that. And he did re-sign pretty much all of his own team’s free agents. To specify: this year’s AVAILABLE free agent class was overrated. Out of all the positions Indy truly had need at (Bellfags need not apply), most of the true blue-chip talents were re-signed or franchises by their original teams. The only big-name >we didn’t go for that I wish we had was Landon Collins, and there’s no way Ballard was going to pay what washington did.

You would have never become a janny when moot ran this site. You are luck y that Hiroshma Nagasaki barely speaks english.
Nick Chubb is the best back in the league. Very patient and smart runner with lite speed and constantly breaks tackles, regularly makes some spectacular catches and does his job in pass blocking. What separates him from all the other elite backs is that he doesn't have negative plays. He has yet to fumble the ball in the NFL. I don't think hes even had a penalty called against him, let alone allowed himself to be tackled behind the LOS.
Hunter Roberts
It's too early to crown him champ yet. See how well he does this year without Zeitler as guard then maybe he has an argument for best
Chase Watson
Too bad he has exploding knees
John Jones
not elite but p good
Tyler Wright
Zeitler being there or not doesn't change anything but I'm not evaluating Chubb based on stats but rather I'm evaluating him based on things that Chubb is in control of. The offensive line doesn't make a back bruising or faster, more patient or a better pass catcher. Every team changes from year to year so if we can't evaluate Chubb because the people around him changed then we can't evaluate anyone.
The idea that's too early to consider him the best back is fallacious too and setting a minimum number of years before an evaluation can take place is completely arbitrary. When we compare players to consider who is the best we have to assume they're going to continue performing has we have observed them. It's not a prediction of the future. When I say Chubb is the best back in the league, I'm talking about right now and not ten years from now.
Samuel Thomas

Who /retarded/ here? I saw a butterfly today it was pretty.
Nolan Ross
I'm not saying you can't evaluate him yet, and I agree that if he continues to be as dominant as he was last season then he'll be at least a top 3 back, but less than one season of running isn't enough to say hes the best. It's a simple rule of statistics that the more data you have the lower the uncertainty, so its not about "arbitrary" cutoffs so much as getting more data before making such a bold claim. Other RBs have had similar production to Chubb in short stretches of time but didn't end up being #1
Christian Rogers
Again, we're not talking about statistics or production.
Isaac Watson
>he doesn't have negative plays >he has yet to fumble the ball in the NFL >never had a penalty called against him >never tackled behind the LOS These are statistics
Liam Garcia
The last two were beside the point which was why it was prefaced them with "I don't even think..." The first two, not fumbling the ball and not having negative plays are a product of him being a smart and reliable runningback which is not something that can be quantified. The number of fumbles and the number of negative plays are merely aspects of a reliable and smart runner, but not the totality of a reliable and smart runner.
Don't be a smartass.
Nicholas Davis
You could say all of those things about Saquon Barkley though, and the fact that you rely on qualitative measures like "smartness" and "reliability" without having numbers to back it up doesn't make for a great argument. And again, I'm not saying nick chubb isn't the best RB in the NFL, only that it's too soon to know.

Remember when it was June and some guy claimed to know who sb favorites for the 19/20 season are?

>Compares apehoop to handegg >Compares Asian man to half black man U r funi man
No, I asked what YOUR qb has done...not the one you wish your team had.
Daniel Morgan
I'm just gonna ballpark your IQ around 85
Brayden Green
Still 35pts higher than you babyboy
Bentley Nguyen
All while not reaching the super bowl. Incredible. At least Kaepernick made it to the super bowl in his first real season.
William Bell
The fact SackOrPick made a super bowl really drives home how worthless super bowl appearances are as a metric for how good a QB is
Christopher Robinson
You seem pretty determined to discredit Mahomes. Show us on the doll where Patty touched you....
Kayden Thompson
Cope.
Tyler Brown
I'm not discrediting anyone, I'm saying that before you decide to spend $37.5 million for one amazing run that a quarterback had you might want to see what their longevity is like and if they can repeat their performance for a few seasons before selling the farm
David Lee
Sorry, $137.5 million
Carter Morgan
He was really good that year though
Nathan Jones
Tell that to MN or Philly. KC is doing fine with their cap
Adrian Martinez
Maybe. But what happens if they decide to go all in on offense during Mahome's second season and bankrupt the defense.
Who do you consider the elite corner though? And do you mean elite in the slot?
Wyatt Watson
KC defense was complete garbage they can't be any worse than last year
Luis Bennett
Loins
Mule
Christopher Perez
Yes, Kenny Moore is an exceptionally good slot corner. Specifically slot corner. Pierre Desir is a good-not-great “standard” corner, and I predict Rock Ya Sin will start opposite Desir by the time the season rolls around.
Asher Morgan
>best known for playing with another team
Wanna know how i know you are a retard?

>Im probably the only one here who saw the helmet catch in real time. The fuck? That catch helped resurrect Yea Forums, I’m sure at least half of this general and probably more saw it live. I know I did.

Landon Powell
I’m 24 and distinctly remember it

You seem upset. Where did the Giants touch you?
Evan Ramirez
A Jew-owned pussy WOULD attack Iran you geopolitically ignorant brainlet
Henry Anderson
The Jests, lol. >inb4 super bowl 1 million years ago Who cares.

Why would someone controlled by Jews decide not to attack the most Israel hostile country in the world?
Think straight, my man.

Brady would unironically holocaust the Persians like Alexander the Great
Jack Jones
>ctrl+f "bay" >dozens of results talking about some tripfag >only 1 (one) result talking about tampa
why doesn't /nfl/ simply filter him? oh right because you're here for the drama and not to talk about football. fucking faggots, kill yourselves
Jose Barnes
Cfl game is on ESPN at 6. Tune in guys. Cfl is great. I just bought a blue bombers shirt myself. I mean even for the disparity in talent and scheme, just the broadcasts are super comfy. Better than watching baseball easily. Bc vs Edmonton.
Nathan Morales

attack iran is the most jewish thing a president could do. so it will happen by the end of the year.

In 1998, at basic training, I was assigned a New England sports fan despite my insistence I could never forgive the Red Sox for what they did to Wade Boggs.
I have seen the entire arc of New England's glory "in real time" and I'll be honest: Bill Belichick let Eli win because he feels bad for him.
Jonathan Diaz

Henry Morgan

incredible
Justin Gutierrez
>not knowing the difference between mean and median
Aaron Brown
Things could be top or bottom heavy, using these numbers as an example, the average is just below 81, and that creates a situation where 22 people are above average.
Old Bay. Can you make a cfl thread? These fucking Canucks don't even support their own based league. Every year I try to get people into cfl but people just don't get into it.
If you can ignore those snow niggers and the cowbells it's a great watch.

I mean Kuechly is the only other MLB that can be considered on Wagner's level over the past several seasons and Wagner has been the healthier of the two. He's not a guaranteed lock like Earl but one or two more seasons of high level play should lock him in
Carson Ward
usually they just put you down after a break like he had. and make glue.
Old bay is the only poster here who makes sense. Bradys sixth is just a jealous hater desu. I don't know them, but I would punch bradys in the mouth whilst having beers with old bay.
Joseph Sanders
Oh yeah buddy I agree wholeheartedly. Old bay is a valued contributor here unlike that dumb loser bradys.
Carson Jenkins
ALL tripfags are cancer. Drink bleach. Also, trip on Old Gay
Carter Rivera
You have got to be a tripfag without his trip on because no one in their right mind doesn't already have trips automatically filtered in every general, it's so easy to do it so why wouldn't they
Nicholas Wilson

Dak is better than both of them, and will be paid less than both too to help built a healthy Cowboys team.
Hawks fan here. Wilson in the elite category is absolutely viable. For a while there last season he held the team on his own two fucking legs.

He’s black and looks like a dummy. Which he is
Alexander Hughes
>pay fuck loads for QB >he replicates Theisman >a milestone is being able to run again by August Are the Redskins eternally cursed? They will never get their money back
David Young
He has never done anything in his past to assume he is a criminal. In fact the worst he has ever done is post a video of him driving 100 mph on bookface. Stop being racist it makes you look dumb.
Kevin Anderson
>never done anything criminal >driving 100mph That’s a crime you know.
Matthew Clark
>get their money back Apparently they'll get some of it back since they had insurance on Smeff.
Isaac Gomez
In what way? An Injun Curse Clause?
Benjamin Rodriguez
>Smith signed a four-year contract worth up to $94 million, with $71 million guaranteed, in 2018. The Redskins never planned to cut him this offseason, uncertain about his playing future and also knowing they would take an approximate cap hit of $40 million, accounting for a $12 million insurance policy. They could cut him after this season but would still incur a hit of $20 million, once again getting some relief with insurance. espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/27023403/qb-smith-big-step-learning-run-again
James Edwards
Lmao, all that dead money for a dead team from a dead player. Hilarious
I'm saying that if you're talking about an AVERAGE STARTING NFL QB
You know the total bound of your range (at the outset, anyway) and you know that if you simply rate them against the average QB they'd all be Above Average or better.
