>the power of dreams
So do I get a qt cyclist gf if I buy a Honda? Or is it fueled by that dream? Or how does it work?
8th for Cavendish to finish behind a 48 year old rider again today
>Meanwhile, Fabio Aru, who underwent iliac artery surgery in April, could be drafted in to the Tour team depending on his performance in the Tour de Suisse.
TODAY IS ARU'S TIME TO SHINE
>This is not a paywall...
>Thoughts?
Fuck the jews.
>Cavendish can't even keep up on a 7% climb.
This is the end for his tour chances.
Better than porte that can't keep up on a 4% lmao.
>using gears
Slovenia looks pretty and comfy.
Wonder what their women are like.
Trump seems happy with his.
Sitting at the sea and right in front of me the Alps.
Travelled with train, borrowed a ticket and cycled about 25 km.
Gotta cycle back now, my water is running out and I did not take any more with me or food except for a gel and a bar...
Looks nice Bernd.
The Manx missile is no more, sad.

This fucking guy can acually talk swiss german what the fuck
Dude just go ask/beg a cafe or something if you can get your bottles filled. Or stop at a gas station and buy some bottled water if you have money.
>using men
>using clothes
Don`t European gas stations have free water taps you can use?
I don`t know why but nude biking is not a good look.
Well it would be possible to fill the bottles from a tap but that would usually mean using the restroom taps or asking if someone can fill them for you. And since most restrooms use those automatic taps here it's a pain in the ass. And I'll rather pay 1€ than go ask someone to fill my water bottles.
In Spain I do it because the tap water can be a bit suspect in some places, especially on a seedy gas station, so it's just easier to buy bottled water. Especially since my Spanish is awful.
560 W over that climb wew
Pro tip if you're ever in Denmark at least: Cemeteries will have a tap and usually an open bathroom as well.
In Australia petrol stations usually have tap water and air available free for anyone to use. Parks and public sporting ovals have water taps or drink bubblers too. Must be a bit different in Europe.
The thing is that we don't really have summers warm enough to warrant that. You could probably get free water from gas stations but it's much easier for an autist to just buy a bottle of water than talk to a potentially qt cashier.
And southern Europe where it would be a great feature doesn't have drinkable tap water everywhere, and bottled water is dirt fucking cheap.
>drinking water full of ghosts
Can you drink water from a mountain stream if you are in the mountains?
>binland
>mountains
In Lapland any clear water stream is drinkable. In southern Finland only if you find a spring.
also
>Finland
>mountains
gorgeous women everywhere
Morning guys.
Comfy scenery today :3
How far down is Sagan going to be?
Fuck spanish boomers and fuck roiders
Lucky. In the US, especially on the east coast, you're virtually guaranteed of giardia unless you find a trickle of water coming out of a cliff.
love me some beaver fever. who else /scooplife/?
You gotta take into account that Lapland is mostly uninhabited wilderness with few villages here and there. And the terrain is hilly so there are small streams everywhere.
But to put into perspective how clear the water can be in those streams I've seen a guy try to step onto a stone to get over a stream only to completely sink and have his hat be left floating on the top. Just last weekend filled my drink bladder from a stream while mountain biking.
> not riding on the power of a thousand lost souls
BERNAL TIME
jfl bernal
some pace
Please don't let Ineos win this stage
YES DUTCHY
Where is my boy Aru?
>Putting 11 seconds into Hirt and Pozzovivo coming from the giro on a 8km climb
So now that Bernal got exposed for the Tour who is gonna win it
Aru and Mas lost 1 minute on Bernal
You mean who is going to come second behind Pinot
wtf he looks 7 years old
>25
Lmao he looks 15
You mean who is going to come second behind Tejay
So he was saving his legs for the big attack tomorrow.
Pinot, TJ and Birdsong for the ultimate meme podium
Sagan still haven't finish?
Tour of Slovenia is a shameful display of our roads. At least the landscapes and towns are comfy.
He should transition.
Egan in yellow, pretty cool.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Sagan just finished lmao.
It's shameful but honest display. Last year the tour went by my house and the road from your picture would be a massive upgrade to how it is here
Mas is not looking good ahead of le tour.
I think it adds to the challenge. No problem with it DESU.
sporza.be
OH NO NO NO
I swear it's unnatural what Ineos/Sky do.
F
shit roads are actually based and redpilled :)
nothing wrong with our roads, you can find sections like that everywhere
>sporza.be
Sad, he was the only one with a good chance of victory.
He my win the vuelta though.
TJ, Pinot and Birdsong for the ultimate meme podium.
In this order please.
My meme podium of choice would be
1. Birdsong
2. Pinot
3. Moleman
just paddle faster and harder la
They train harder than the other :^)
I know Belgians love shitty roads for some reason, probably the worst roads in western Europe. Why is it so?
How Boomberde does it? He's like 100 years old
I think they do train harder. Look on strava, nobody trains harder than Froome and Kwiatkowski. But what allows them to recover from such hard training?
Today:
Porte 100km 2700m elevation 23.8km/h
Kwiat 140km 3600m elevation 25.6km/h
Okay so apparently our roads are better of than roads in Italy and Belgium, but not by much. I can't image how bad the roads are in red countries.
When will Kwiatskowski win a GT?
>But what allows them to recover from such hard training?
A new type of undetectable steroid.
good roads not lindy!
>that list
pure bullshit. just cross the southern border and you'll think that you're in africa. and then check that list again, fucking kek
Not sure some random ride on strava means shit.
When i toured around the balkans i actually had to ride on gravel roads in montenegro with my caravan was very comfy.
Like there was a very new asphalt road from the costums post for like a kilometer and then just straight up gravel. Hired mobilhomo went completely to shit because i drove too fast hahaha
it's means something if they are regularly doing much more than their rivals. look for yourself. they always do more than anyone else

> not riding on the power of a thousand lost souls
Having those lost souls telling you to ride off a mountain cliff everytime you ride.
>denmark
>mountain cliff
>Having those lost souls telling you to ride into oncoming traffic everytime you ride.
So with a bunch of favourites not riding the tour, is the hype gone, or are you happy to see a best-of the-rest tour?
My hype only goes up every time an Ineos rider crashes. A little sad to see Dumoulin struggle with his knee though.
>hype
>tour
lmao (laufing my ass of)
still a stronger line up than the others tours
Eh, as much as I don't like Ineos, I wouldn't mind Bernal in yellow.
I wonder what that would do to Quintana.
I had /Pinot/ to win it even before all these dudes dropped out
Based and redpilled.
based (possible walloon) retard
based and punishpilled
easy defence for G now Froome is out
bruh look at this dude
Back at home, showered and made some shitty food.
Missed the stage completely.
I got caught in a heavy thunderstorm, couldn't make it in time, heavy winds, hail and lightning as well. Made the right decision to take shelter under the roof of a huge barn. All my clothes were wet and I was cold, but still clean, but now the roads turned into some sort of gravel shit, my bike and my clothes got some new textures added to it....felt like a good experience actually.
Always make this false friend mistake nowadays, getting old....
Didn shoot too many pics, my hands were cold and dirty.
is it somewhere at high altitude?
So Dumoulin is officially out for tdf
Close to the mountains, but not that high, about 700m above sea level.
Lol, they swept it below the carpet, hoping nobody would report it.
>cyclingpub.com
Tbh, SHIT YEAR for KINO cycling.
They fall like flies, and the stages get cut short and thus become easier and the route design in general sucks.
All so tiresome
So which stage of the Tour and Vuelta they're going to neuter for "avalanche danger".
Better get used it. Extreme/unexpected weather conditions will screw up more stuff more often in the future.
Wouldn't be surprised...I mean avalanche in form of a rockslide is still a possibility.
And watching some shitty captured YT vid of Bernal's attack, it didn't look that impressive, expected a bit more.
God, what a shitshow. I hope Nibali recovers fast enough and just wins the Tour.

Was cleaning my bike, just with hot water, an old toothbrush and a lump of cloth.
Not possible to get all the chains, cassette and crank and all the mechanical parts clean.
Would need strong detergent and high pressure water...anyways, cleaned it the best I could in 1.5 hours.
It has its benifits to be a fair weather rider only.
Your day was better than mine then, there was a nasty near invisible hole in the road and I blew out both tires.
I didn't think that would ever happen in this country unless I did something stupid to cause it.
Thanks for the vid, showed good form im o, much better than basically anyone in the dauphine.
Btw there are special tools to clean the chain, is not even expensive.
youtube.com
Supposedly the new stage is not really any easier, so probably not that bad.
Some even in the shape of a pig!
>he doesn't clean his chains in an ultrasonic cleaner
>he doesn't wax his chains in slow cooker
baka desu senpai
>90 minutes to clean a bike
lol how is this possible. 10 minutes max.
youtube.com
He is a pro...and he used detergents and at the end a garden hose, he cleans his bike regularly....my bike was dirty even before today.
>Tolhoek wins the etappe
>WvA has looked excellent
>Bouwman has looked competent
>Kruijswijk has looked great
>Out of the top 5 last year, only Thomas and Kruijswijk are returning and the former has just crashed to miss some crucial preparation
For me, it's Kruijswijk winning the Tour de France
Please don't, if you squeeze any harder the toothpaste will be all over the wall.
