Cops bad, me better than cops
>any and all rap
Actually cringe
This is exactly why I could never really get into rap. Especially with the political nonsense rappers do today. It's just too dumb for me to enjoy, even when the beat it catchy. I can't get past it.
Not all raps are like that though
You're probably right. I'm just going off what I've experienced when I've attempted to get into the genre. Is there anything good you'd recommend?
Madvillian is a good place to start
you guys don’t actually like cops do you?
>listening to (99% of) rap for lyrics and not production
cringe
I think cops are currently demonized mercilessly and I feel bad for their families. There's a ton of propaganda misinforming the public about law enforcement. I would say I generally like them, I haven't had any negative experiences with them personally.
fuck off cracker

Cool I'll check that out.
Thx, I'll look at that too.

>cops bad, me better than cops

cops are demonized because they can kill some poor bastard and not even get charged for it
>cops are demonized because they can kill some poor bastard and not even get charged for it
Nope, not true. I'm sure there are sensational tragic cases where a guilty cop got away with something terrible, but that is generally not how things work. The vast majority of famous "police brutality" cases were reported in very misleading ways by the media.
yeah? how so?
The media has a huge issue with bias and corruption. Alton Sterling, Michael Brown, ect. All high profile cases which were blatantly misreported and used to promote extremism- BLM being a good example of this.
bro you can't just say they have a bias/misreporting problem and not elaborate
Ok, here you go:
Alton Sterling: A career criminal and violent sex offender who resisted arrest, and subsequently shot by an officer, the police involved in the incident were later legally declared legally to have acted in a fair and justified manner. The case is still cited to this day as an example of police brutality, when that literally could not be further from the truth
Michael Brown: The case which led to the "hands up, don't shoot" craze. The media depicted Brown as an innocent who was unjustly slaughtered, when in reality, he actually did not have his hands up, and jumped for the officers gun.
Cases like these are to this day used to justify claims of "systemic racism" and used by radical organizations like BLM to justify violently rioting and destroying their own communities. The media lied about them and are continuing to cause racial division and chaos in America. It's a disgrace.
Can I hate both cops and black people?
Yes
This thread got political real quick
>legally declared legally
lol retard
Based
sure
i don’t get this
at least 50% of cops are power tripping assholes
statistical fact you can look it up yourself, or just go outside and talk to one
these two suck
this one is where rap peaks though
i don't think that would happen if cops didn't protect black people. the average person really isn't very racist nowadays
>Sterling
The cops didn't know Sterling had a criminal record when they shot him, the "violent sex offender" thing is a complete lie, and one of the two cops was later fired for violating use of force policies.
>Brown
Reports from witnesses differ wildly about whether Brown was charging the cop or not, plus the cop was 152 feet away when he shot Brown.
There's like 20 other incidents that aren't as controversial, like Philando Castile, Eric Garner, etc. I think you're missing the bigger picture here: Cops use deadly force in situations where it isn't necessary. Buffalo has a 50% black population, but there's no police murders because the BPD is trained to respond to uncooperative people without killing them.
