ITT musicians who's death would devastate you
bob dylan
iggy pop
neil young
Moz
Thom Yorke
Wayne Coyn
Steven Drozd
Robert Fripp
None, because I'm not emotionally connected to people I don't personally know.
Peter Hammill
Robert Fripp
Emmanuel Pahud
Paul
yet you spend on your time on an image board with anonymous people. curious
what makes you think I'm emotionally connected to any of you retards? I just come here because I have a space to fill in my life. Every time I have nothing to do I instinctively pull of Yea Forums to see if there's any thread I can kill some time in.
i have an awful feeling he's gonna kill himself soon bros
And I thought Keith Flint's death would fuck me up but it just resulted in me not listening to The Prodigy anymore.
Lack of empathy is often associated with autism
>Lack of empathy is often associated with autism
that statement isn't correct vice-versa, so I'm not sure what your point is.
Neil Cicierega.
He is making albums by the dozens, each better than the last, in amazing alignment to my taste. And he is young, so there are supposedly many more to come. Would be a loss for music and comedy if he died soon.
John Balance and Peter Christopherson already died, so all that's left for me to mourn for will be David Tibet and Autechre's passing.
It's gonna fuck me up when the members of The Human League die. It's the band that gets me through my worst moments.
i swear to god if Robert Fripp dies i'm just going to fucking off myself.
Tom waits
I'm gonna listen to him right now
if you guys thought shit went down when kobe died wait until if ye passes or kendrick
Mark Hollis is the only death that's particularly upset me, I don't think there's anyone else I'm too bothered about now. Maybe , but even Neil Peart didn't make me as sad as I was expecting to.
user, i...
I used to love him, won't care when he goes.
>Neil Young
You are right
Im saying you have a lack of empathy. Being some jaded edgy dude isn't something to be proud of
I think David Byrne might be the best musician to come out of Dumbarton, so it would be a great loss for the local community
>I'm saying you have a lack of empathy
yeah and you were trying to associate it with autism, which is just silly. And I fail to see how not being devastated over a musicians death makes me "edgy". Is it edgy to not care about the deaths of thousands of starving African children? I mean it really doesn't affect me in any way so I fail to see how it could bother me emotionally.
bbbbbut that's sin, bro
Yours.
:(
None
I expect them all to die before me
jarvis cocker, iggy pop, and david byrne for me.
anyone else I care about is already dead, bros...
Riiight, a "suicide", just like MJ. He's too smart for a nig, yet he's a bit insane at the same time. Sooner or later he will start rambling about jews and they will kill him too.

I'm so sorry, user.

>repents at the last second

The day that goofy fuck drops dead, I celebrate.
Stuart Murdoch
They're already dead. Chuck , Slayer guitarist, run dmc man etc. David Bowie dieing was a surprise.
elizabeth fraser
>David Bowie dieing was a surprise.
This. It feels like the world gets a bit worse with every good musician's death, in the sense that what's left from the past is going away, and a new strange life is coming from the future that old people like us are just not ready for.
Bjork
Kate Bush
Phil Elvrum
Mainly because these artists tapped into different emotions, I've never felt. Wierd to explain. I wouldn't be the same without them

...wait, oh you meant musician's deaths that would make me devastatingly joyful, right?
I'm not really saddened all that much by the deaths of musicians unless they were still actively making music. Most of the musicians I listen to are already dead or long since retired.
I don't listen to rappers so I don't have to worry about my favorite musicians getting caught up in a drive-by shooting. The only rapper I listen to is Viper, and I can imagine him accidentally getting caught up in some shady shit with the mafia or a gang and being found in a ditch somewhere.
Yea because the music becomes more emotionally honest
Glenn Branca
Holy fucking shit, chop off your micropenis dickhead.
Oh, well I got a bit of that with Linkin Park, nobody can accuse the guy of being just a whiny guy with no real problems anymore. But I still stopped listening to them, Audioslave and The Prodigy, I don't enjoy them anymore, I guess it's because I often think of music as something that keeps me from killing myself.
>Holy fucking shit, chop off your micropenis dickhead.
lol why so mad?
Yeah, it’s weird. I’m ashamed to admit it, but I think I’d be a little less interested in Nick Drake, Ian Curtis and Bob Welch if they were still alive.
>Robert Smith
>Alex Turner
>Dave Grohl
>Will Toledo
>Isaac Wood
there is only one
Billy Corgan
The GOAT
statistics aren't on his side
None, musicians are scum.
Laura Jane Grace will live forever
does she pass, /lgbt/?
Well her voice is quite female now, but I still can't help seeing her old self when I look at her, I guess cause most of her music is still before she transitioned. But anyway I think she passes, she looks like she could be a member of L7
I've got some bad news for you user
>we nearly lived in a world where Josh never got to make Like Clockwork or work with Iggy Pop
Shit fucking hurts to think about.
That would be great, but it’ll never happen. Too much in love with himself
both of these lads
OK YEAH THIS GUY WILL HURT THE MOST FOR SURE
josh homme is dead within a few years for sure. dudes a megadruggie and just got divorced.
McCartney dying isn't far and would be the end of an era
Stop posting pictures of my wife

now he loves his wife and family. he wont die
user i...
Hate to say it but he peaked in Talking Heads, all of his solo/post TH work is a mess, it's not a coincidence that half the songs in his stage show are TH covers
