This is proof not even modern science can deal with the negroe
John Brown
None of the mediafire links work...

The negroe demands acceptance and all the benefits modern times imply, but when told to leave it's savage ways and take up modern thinking it will just dismiss it as new age bullshit.

What pedal should i get next for shoegaze/post punk stuff? Any reccs?
Just bought this a couple days ago off the dude who built it. It's a Kiesel walnut neck through blank with a black limba body finished with Tru Oil. Hipshot tuners and bridge. The pickups in it are Seymour Duncans, an S4 in the neck and a mini in the bridge, but they will most likely get swapped out in the future, just not sure with what yet. It might be my favorite guitar I've ever played. I really didn't expect to fall for it this hard.
This is the 800th time you posted this exact same pic. Honestly shoegaze sucks and if you can’t disguise your lack of talent and ability with all that shit then another delay pedal probably won’t help either
William Foster

get earthquaker's arrow. it always makes any muff circuit better.
Daniel Nelson
Want a Deluxe Big Muff real bad.
Jack Brooks
that's an odd pickup layout, but I guess the mount makes it swappable. IF you like it, why would you change the pickups?
Kevin Thomas
I actually like the gain channel on the new DSL20 head.
David Parker
Needs the cliche seymour duncan 59/JB setup. Mini humbuckers are fucking gay.
Kevin Garcia
and my fingers hurt because I've been playing it so much, and it's still too early to crank my amp, so I decided to post pics of it on the internet to make you faggots jealous.
Anthony Carter
I played a Firebird earlier and I did not like it. I've wanted this guitar for years, it was my dream guitar. But the fucking thing feels like a boat oar, it's got such a long feeling. The one I was using felt imbalanced. I am disappoint.
this is the kinda thing i was hoping for someone to say. was looking at maybe compressors, but the arrows seems to do exactly what im looking for.
Evan Bell
how do I make an anthem style 8/8 bassline?
Jayden Davis
What are you looking for exactly? The arrows is basically a range master combined with an electra distortion.
James Scott
Just something to tighten up all the delays and verbs. It can get a little muddy sometimes and i lose some high end i feel like on barre chords. I guess a little more shimmer?
Aiden Hill
You need more delays delaying the first delay.
James Jackson
good to hear i did something decent today. you could do with a compressor if you wish but i tend to stay away. especially with fuzz pedals i already get enough compression so i tend to go with overdrives.
the only pedal i have that sounds good with all kinds of dirt pedals is black art toneworks black forest. it's dope but pricey. i got mine used for a lower price. it's based on the coloursound overdrive/power boost. sounds good before or after any fuzz pedal and it's got its own gain structure.
i actually stripped my board down to just the black forest and a tube screamer in front of it. might replace the tube screamer with some hm-2 clone or pick up one of those catalinbread foundation pedals and slap it at the end of the chain. which foundation pedal who you all recommend me getting? the wiio is too hard to find.
I should have been more clear. I love the way it plays. The way it sounds is great, but I'm not really digging the neck pickup, and haven't made my mind up about the bridge pickup. Of course I've only had it for a few days, so I might grow to love both of them, there's no telling.
Aiden Butler
Swap out then. Don't forget to buy new pickup rings.
Is there a big difference in bridge quality between mid and top tier Ibanez guitars?
Asher Cruz
Would look better on a banjo
Mason Butler
Banjos look better with a frying pan theme
Brandon Young
If it was in your hands, you'd know.

for the price, yes make sure to get the 100w and the gafc footswitch for max use
Julian Adams
>can be had at any price >easily customizable >extremely versatile >look fits literally any genre reminder that the strat is the best guitar of all time
after looking at videos, i see their rah is basically a wiio but with less gain and a mid control. thinking of going with either that or their formula 5F6.
great now i also really like their naga viper. perhaps one day it'll replace my tube screamer... /end of my blog post.

there is no reason to except for flexing people only pay so much on instruments in the hopes it will make their technique or songs less shit doesn't work, of course
Michael Rivera

quality for guitars peaks at about $1500, there is no point paying much more than that.
Nathaniel Turner
haha you're so cute, okay The only reason to purchase an expensive instrument is to boost the ego. Musicians purchase the same expensive instruments with the hopes that their playing technique or that their songwriting will improve. This is futile, however, because these issues rely more upon on the willpower of such a musician to perfect their craft, and not the quality of the instrument that such practices would be applied.
Parker Williams
I have an SG standard I got for $1000 (they're 1500 new and used to be way more). The pickups are good, but weak and best for clean stuff. The fretwork is good. The nut is OK and could be better. The finish quality is all over the place. It's uneven and goopy looking in some of the corners and has a lot of orange peel effect, it's not a flat mirror sheen like you'd expect even on the back. There's a nick in the binding up by the low E 17th fret, some flecks of red paint left here and there, and a big bright red strip running under the binding where some finish wasn't scraped off it.
Metrosexual nitpicks aside it is still the comfiest neck I have ever touched.
And this seems to be the standard for guitars in the $1000-$2000 price range. I went around town trying out MIA strats and they didn't play feel or sound better than MIMs, they just had weaker pickups (alnico). Factories shit guitars out as fast as they can and hope nobody notices the flaws because of the brand. Is it overpriced? Absolutely. Is there an alternative? To someone that just wants the sound or just wants the look, maybe. But that neck profile is rarely duplicated and whatever formula gibson used for the nitro that year was some good shit. The back of the neck is the most well finished part of the guitar. It's the only part that has a mirror sheen, and it's one of those rare gloss necks that won't stick to your hand.
Excessively long scale length. Vibrato bridge so bad most people don't touch it
Colton Cox
>poor >stupid >and third world (i.e. brown) the trifecta lol
Easton Wood
the long scale length is for the twang. leo fender wanted it to sound like a pedal steel because he was a huge country fag. it's the same reason the bridge pickup isn't wired to a tone pot.

quality for bolt on, poly finished guitars peaks at $700 and then everything after that is stacking on cheap gimmicks and pairing them with significantly higher prices to create an illusion of exclusivity.
>$5 of rod magnet instead of $5 of bar magnet >$15 worth of electronics under the pickguard >take ten minutes to roll the fretboard edges >that will be $300 >add another $5 of electronics >maybe locking tuners that cost $10 more than regular tuners >and a different bridge that costs about the same but is better, because better stuff has to be kept to the higher price tiers or people won't buy them >that will be $500 >run a different CNC program for the neck and body for $0 >different electronics have a wholesale price that isn't far off from the old stuff >stacked humbuckers might cost the company $30 per pickup at the most >that will be another $500
Jace Collins
Lmao you wouldn't have all these issues if you just bought a cheap Condor to begin with. Gibson = Gambling.
>a brown refugee in sweden seething about being poor naturally
Jack Barnes
I tried a lot of cheap poly coated shitplanks, actually. They had the same problems, plus more, and vastly inferior feeling necks, even worse pickups, and horrible fretwork. I don't see how you can compare a les paul clone where the sticker-looking veneer is coming off and the screws are rusting to a paintjob not being showroom quality. I know your whole store about cheap pickups and fret replacements done with cheap favela labor and I don't care. Relative to your income the prices you pay are the same or higher as the ones we do in the US. In fact, at $500 your guitar was two months pay. At $1000 mine was less than one week of work. So, living in the US, why would I buy a $500 guitar, pay a ton of money to fix the fretwork and replace the pickups, and end up with an $800 guitar with a neck I still hate (or sand the finish off the neck like a retard and have it warp in ten years), when that extra $200 aka what you make in a month is fucking nothing to me. The SG isn't a show guitar or something you can admire. I used to detail cars for a living, I know what a good paintjob looks like. But it is a very good guitar to play and it sounds fine.
I can't stress the value of money relative to income and cost of living enough. Money isn't just a number, it's purchasing power, and in brazil $1 has more purchasing power than the US so 1 USD in the favela is way more money than 1 USD in the US. Enough money to retire for five years in the US will sustain you for life in an impoverished shithole like where you live. For your purchasing power the amount you spent on guitars is astronomical and they're still fucked up and broken. That said, I actually spent less money than you and I still have better shit. Stop coping and move to the US so our police can shoot you for being a monkey.
My Condors have comfy quartersawn necks and Alnico pickups with shielded wires, thanks
Jackson Wood

Adrian Rodriguez
Lmao look at all that dumb walltext
Cameron James
I saw the pictures. Your condor's neck is made of several pieces of random wood. Rift sawn at the best. Quartersawn necks don't mean shit anyways, it's a meme. My most stable guitar neck is flat sawn maple.
And alnico doesn't mean good. Some ceramic pickups sound better than alnico.
Seething.

How do I learn to sing and play at the same time? There's plenty of songs I can play without having to think of when to change chords and stuff so why am I struggling so much?

your condors are literally falling apart and just one of them cost you two months of your life wasted on wageslaving in a pet store lmao
how much did the tele cost sam? remember he makes $200 to $250 a month
Sam, what's the nicest guitar you've ever played? It seems like you only think those pieces of shit are acceptable because you've never really played a great guitar before.

woodfags fuck right off pickups are vastly more important
Many variables! I did this experiment many years ago and had the same result as in this video. 2 Gibson Les Pauls that sounded different acoustically. I swapped my SD Seth Lovers between both guitars. On one LP the sound was warm and bluesy (think Clapton). On the other guitar the same pickup took on a much more aggressive hard rock sound ( think Foreigner). A hardwood solid body guitar has acoustic properties. Just as an acoustic does. No 2 trees are alike nor any same size slab of mahogany for example. A slab of mahogany can vary anywhere from 5-25lbs. Some will be more porous than others. Some will have more closed tighter grain. Some will have more life and sustain longer than others. The wood is the heart and soul. 2 same pieces of mahogany will sound different when you tap on them. With different resonant frequencies. There are generalizations that hold true for different kinds of wood. Example Mahogany is warm and round. And Maple is known to be brighter sounding with great sustain. Hardware will add to the recipe. Wether it’s steel (bright), brass (mid-rangy), etc. Pickups of course will add and sound different from one set to another. The magnets in pickups will change the sound of a guitar if you swap those out as well (A2, A3, A4, A5, ceramic). Everything effects everything. But the bottom line and the heart is the wood. Some guitars just sound dead. They don’t sustain and sound muffled. And you can dress them up with the best pickups and electronics. And guess what? It still will sound dead lifeless and without sustain. And no I completely disagree with some people saying that you can make one sound like the other by tweaking the eq. That is false! You can play with the amplifiers eq but that is after the fact. It’s not going to effect the origin. Or change the inherit properties of the piece of wood that you are starting with. It’s like a fingerprint and there are no 2 alike. It’s in the wood!
Mason Phillips
What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch? I'll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Berklee College of Music, and I've been involved in numerous secret raids on Fender, and I have over 300 confirmed toans. I am trained in PRS noodling and I'm the top wanky soloist in the entire YouTube music scene. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of Gibson employees across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You're fucking dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can play wanky solos for you in over seven hundred ways, and that's just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in playing pentatonic scales, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the Paul Reed Smith Inc and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little "clever" comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldn't, you didn't, and now you're paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit fury all over you and you will drown in it. You're fucking dead, kiddo.
How is it possible for the magnets to affect the DC resistance of a pickup? I heard it more than once. Doesn't resistance just measure the amount of wire?
>everybody don’t make me laugh. You don’t have a social life outside of /gg/. You don’t have a single friend irl. You’re a fucking liar lmao no one has ever said that to you
Justin Williams
resistance is resistance. AC circuits also have resistance, but mixed with reactance, there's impedance.
Easton Roberts

Will do, user
Good looking out
Oliver Wood
I don't know why but the gotoh tune o matic fitting is slightly off for my ep sg pro and the holes very slightly widened up with a 0.5mm~ gap on both sides because the posts are squeezing the bridge after adjusting the action. Is this dangerous in the long run for the wood? Or is it fine now after the holes widened up from the tension?
Kevin Gonzalez
tfw have to use my gutiar amp as a preamp for the bassman cause i can't get it to overdrive no matter how hard i play it
I usually play through a solid state Peavey and that can overdrive easy as shit. Thanks user this is my usual set-up. I want soft clipping overdrive, not distortion.
Addictive Drums is pretty good too. You won't find a drummer if you don't go to shows. Classified ads will only land you dad-rock boomers. Go to shows, ask the drummers if they're not playing in 20 projects already and if they ain't ask them to join your bedroom shoegaze project or w/e.
Xavier Hill
how dare he tell me to log off! I have to post more pics of my lover (cat) now.
Decent piece of kit but it's that Polyphia homofaggot's signature so to me it has AIDS embedded in every fibre of the wood, finish and hardware. I'd rather buy just about any other Ibanez Prestige or an HSS Strat than go near anything to do with Polyphia. Also what kind of hipster homo puts a mini humbucker in the bridge when they're playing high gain fusion and rock? Gross. Fuck those covered single coils too, the only time I'm willing to tolerate that is on a Telecaster.
Suhr are a nobody brand that command no value and no one of note plays them or cares about them. All previous Suhr artists have moved to Ibanez or other, more prolific names with a bigger and brighter future ahead of them. I'd choose any MIJ Ibanez or PRS over Suhr any day of the week, which isn't to say they're bad guitars, just that they're overpriced and irrelevant.
I'd also hardly call it a "poor man's" anything considering it costs $1000+. Anyone who can afford to drop over a grand on a guitar can just as well defer their gratification for a few more months to save up the extra grand for a Suhr that will decrease in value by 50% as soon as they open the case.
Good looking guitar my man. Do me a huge favour though and don't rest your axes up against shit like that without something soft protecting the body against the object it's leaned up against.
Leo Hughes
Lmao I tried to tell you guys
Kayden Lee
you have extremely weird fingernails and your fingers seem nonwhite so please leave this general because guitar playing is for whites and nips only

Godlike >Being awarded a guitar for exceptional guitar skills High tier >Being given a free guitar Average tier >Spending Spending one month's pay on a guitar Barefuly functional tier >Spending 1-2 months pay on a guitar May not have a brain tier >Spending 2+ months pay on a guitar
PRS is also a nobody brand. They give guitars out like candy hoping to get exposure but nobody knows what a PRS is except for guitar nerds. To girls they're all "guitar", to guys they're all "gibson" or "fender".
Benjamin King
Screwing and unscrewing shit into wood can lead to stripping the holes, which is a pain in the ass to deal with. The backplate also causes more reverberation coming from the back cavity that very clearly picked up in an amplified signal and can start to get overbearing. Some people go so far as to silence the springs by sliding silicone tubing through the hole in the top or packing the cavity with foam. Only thing I do is take off the cover because I know I'm going to be restringing and adjusting the trem claw eventually. I also individually label which screw came from where in small plastic bags but that's probably just me.
If I'm not going to be using the vibrato bar I'll also slip a wadded stack of taped up plectrums into that hole underneath the trem block just to stop the bridge kicking up during bends and double stops. It takes a few minutes to tape the picks together and seconds to put them in or take them out so why not.
Brandon Myers
*gibson, fender, or jackson

Lmao they don’t lose 50% of their retail value that’s a total lie. Mateus Asato is the biggest guitar player on Instagram and YouTube, everyone knows that pink guitar and what do you know Ibanez is making pink guitars now. Everything you said was retarded lol
Nolan Allen
Only guitarists know what 99% of guitar things are. People tend to not know about things they're not into.
Jaxon Young
>Suhr are a nobody brand that command no value and no one of note plays them or cares about them
And yet they made a better ultra strat than fender before fender made an ultra strat, and it was and still is only $200 more than fender's mexiplank (despite involving way more hands on labor).
They command most of their MSRP when sold used and ibanez is explicitly copying them now.
Go ahead and pay $2k for an inferior guitar that might as well be a mexican strat with $200 in upgrades and some samuel-esque heel work done, when $2.2k would get you a vastly superior one that comes with stainless steel frets and a superior noise-cancelling system out of the box. You gotta have the name on the headstock after all. If your guitar brand was never played by anyone good, buying it won't make you good. :^)
Ayden Butler
i don't know why the fuck people don't ignore any guitar without stainless steel frets. most guitarists are retards.
Dominic Roberts
Why would you care about replacing frets every 4 years if you don't play enough to do that, or buy so many guitars you don't play any one guitar enough to do that?
>tfw you're actually rich and pull in 20 grand a month but you still think the guitars this thread and this thread only fanboys over are total shit for working class morons who larp as rock stars
Kevin Campbell
How long is it going to take until my pinky isn't sore non-stop? it's been over a year for fuck's sake. Should I just switch to lighter gauge strings? using 11-50 in standard tuning
Changed a tube in my amp and it started ringing after. I'm almost positive it's just a bad tube. I put the old one back in and it's fine again. Is the tube bad or is it possible that maybe I just didn't install the new one properly? Just wanna make sure before I go back and get it replaced.
Grayson Taylor
yeah you sound smart
Leo Phillips
If the tube wasn't bad, why did you replace it?
Aaron Moore
Well if the issue was you not getting the new tube installed properly I feel like you would be able to tell before turning the amp back on. Sounds like a shitty microphonic tube. Take a wooden stick and tap it a few times and if it makes a lot of noise/causes the ringing to get suddenly louder or softer then get the tube replaced.
he afforded a real condor, thats more than what your xbox 360 is worth, faggot
Tyler James
It's not just sam hating on Gibson, it's the entire world outside of /gg/.
They're poorly made with 40s style sweatshop labor and use heavily flawed, pointlessly fragile designs. And the CEO charges a premium for that. Fender raised the bar, Gibson can't keep up except by being "iconic". When the last boomer dies they lose their entire customer base.
So why did you post him playing a fender? Because you’re a retard
Liam Gonzalez
That's just a suhr with the original brand name
Isaiah Miller

Hunter Ramirez
That’s actually fender’s baritone tele but you wouldn’t know that because you’re a retard.

Kevin Bailey
this shrill again lol >chops off half the body >bottom and and body all gone 'sounds the same guys, don't forget Gibsons are bad and buy these cheaply made Asian guitars who's companies have definitely not paid me!'
Ian Barnes
John Suhr worked in the custom shop for years before he left to make better quality guitars.
>>inb4 boomer "rock n roll" heroes are notable But they are pretty much more notable than any modern ones. The most notable 'young guy' guitarist to the general public just played pop and boomer rock (and prefers boomer rock, and now plays with his heroes) Anyone else are just nerds who make unlistenable songs for the sake of technicality that don't end up sounding that different to a synth, defeating the point. The 80s guys could play technically and manage to make their instrument still sound like a guitar.
