Treble or Bust

Friendly reminder that UCL titles are utterly worthless unless you win the treble. If you merely win the UCL, you are neither the best in Europe nor the World. Instead of dominating, you focused on a single competition and saved energy for it. That's far from being an impressive feat.

Treble or bust, additional trophies are bonus but not very relevant given how they are usually awarded after the season has already ended (Club Worldcup like 6+ months after UCL final etc).

>Not having the updated version that includes Manchester City 2019 Treble

Domestic trebles are irrelevant. If they mattered, this list would also include like 20 South American farmer teams.

>not including the GOAT treble

Didn't Barcelona also win the treble in 2015? They won La Liga, Copa del Rey and the CL.

>no United 2017 treble
Community Shield, the league cup, and the champions of Europe to top it all off. Outdated image.

See , mouthbreather

>domestic
They were the European champions that year, learn to read Sven

I think that winning three champions leagues in a row is even more impressive

>Memeropa league
>European champions
That's like winning the second division.

Seething
Champions of Europe

Doesn't matter what you think, Eero. Especially when every single title was won through massive refballing. Imagine having the refs carry you to 3 UCLs yet still fail to win the treble once. Shows just how manipulated that single competition was and that you were unable to perform anywhere else.

That's dumb. Most big teams don't even play half their starting 11s in domestic cups and often lose motivation against lower quality league opposition. UCL is the best indicator of being the best, except in an off year when the big teams are not performing up to their usual standards. Noone goes through a gauntlet of atletico, bayern, madrid, juventus, uefalona in their peak years without being the best.

yes

Wrong. The treble is. If you don't win the treble, the UCL title is borderline worthless. If you can't dominate the league, the cup and the UCL, you can't claim to be the best. Simple as that.

the seething catalanoid exposes himself lmao.
i'm just going to post this here link from the official laliga channel and wait for your brain to explode from your self-contradictions while everyone else laughs at your cheating team.

You keep saying that but it still sounds like an attempt in self-delusion rather than a convincing argument.

>not
>a
>single
>treble
lol

Simply wrong. The greatest teams win the CL/EC back-to-back. Next step below are the treble winners

Mr. Clough, pls.

>3 UCLs in a row
>scatalanoid thinks he's relevant in 2019 with muh tinpot treble

>the greteast teams are "the best in Europe" but not the best in their country, which, uhm, happens to be European haha... so uhm... I guess they aren't really the best in Europe

No 2015 ?

>greteast
HAHAHAH look at how mad he is, his hands are probably shaking because his little manipulating attempt is failing completely.

Any CL win has no value if the team didn't win their league title in the same season. How can you be champion of Europe if you're not champion of your country?

Pay to win ball does not count for athletic achievement

This isn't an Apehoop thread, Burger.

The answer is simple. Beat the best european teams in the highest quality european competition instead of beating the mighty huesca in your tinpot league.

>we are the best
>can't even beat huesca in your tinpot league
>w-we weren't trying, I swear!!

>actually thinking beating huesca is a better indicator of quality than beating juve bayern and liverpool
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA oh no no sweaty

>Sweden going full autist over this thread

They aren't getting Middle East money which directly correlates to winning

If Uefalona didnt rig VAR to knock City out they would have easily won the quadruple

ManCity and PSG have 0 UCL, 0 Trebles, 0 noteworthy accomplishments

You were saying?

Based Ajax

Everyone saw how they "won" those 3

>Clattenburg admits that if Real hadn't benefitted from a bad decision in the first half he probably wouldn't have given it [the Atleti penalty]. The best referees, he believes, make their decisions based on context and balance.
yes, everyone saw it was fair and square. Lets talk about psg-barca for a bit instead. Now there's a real robbery, too bad even cheats cant stop the midget from choking where it matters.

>tfw back to back to back CL winters
>tfw treble winners

this is the real treble
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_UEFA_Plaque

Most based post on this board right now. Any club that doesn't win the treble is basically just a filler winner for that year until a real dominant side appears again.

how many CLs do swedish teams have?

Based Halal Abdul coping

The only club in there that can consider a treble a huge achievement is United. Winning some shitter league like eredivisie and the domestic cup is barely an improvement over just winning a UCL.

This muh treble logic fails miserably because all leagues are different, so a treble for teams like Barcelona or Celtic is very easy relatively to others.

The Champion's League is the real filter.

>Man City: Swept all English titles this year (not CL but still)
>P$G: Kills any French competition
>The winners of the CL spend a shit ton, usually an equal amount that the other competitors do
You were saying?

>so a treble for teams like Barcelona or Celtic is very easy relatively to others
Ah yes. That's why Real Madrid has 13 UCL titles yet not a single title. Because it's easy in La Liga. Go get raped by a some Muslims, Pedro.

*not a single treble

I hate Liverpool but you can't say they didn't try for the league this season. And if it wasn't for spurs, Man City would have won the quadruple.

Barça won it again 2015, making the soci vote for retard Bartomeu. Also would had won in 2010 but the finals were in Cuernabéu so massive refball was "empowered" to Inter by UEFAdrid

>the treble is better than 3 UCL in a row
>im not mad at all GO GET RAPED HURR DURR

The majority of these were won when the leagues were at some of their shittiest. A Bundesliga or Serie A league title in the modern era is fucking worthless. Hell I'd argue that a league title is near worthless at the moment regardless of what league it is.

Why's this Hungarian butblasted at facts? Cristina sleeps for 360 days a year and does fuck all. 0 Trebles when you win that many champions leagues is pathetic. He was even allowed to rest an entire month before his Juve matches. Meanwhile you have teams like Barcelona who only won the league right as the Liverpool game hit and Liverpool didn't "lose" the league until a week later. Imagine being allowed to rest like a hibernating bear.

That just means they didn't care about the other competitions.

>we're easily winning leliga, we have to do everything in our power to bring that beautiful CL to barcelona. We beat Liverpool 3-0 the treble is in the bag
>4-0 at Anfield
>leliga is the most important trophy, CL is just 'luck'
HAHAHAHA

Attached: messoy.jpg (824x787, 66K)

>argue that a league title is near worthless
When Buyern won their treble, they hadn't won the league in 2 yaers. When Barcelona won thier treble, they hadn't won the league in 3 years. Nice try, though, Mike Jose Hernandez Kempacho.

>they didn't care
Ah yes, they didn't care. The same way Cristina never cares at the World Cup.

Attached: 1553182404578.jpg (583x583, 84K)

What are you even talking about?

>domestic leagues are worthless because most teams are shit quality and noone cares about them
>bayern last won the worthless league noone cares about 2 years before their CL win
why are you pretending your irrelevant nonsense counters his argument?

Attached: brainlet.png (586x578, 37K)

imagine being a swede spending your days trying to prove Messi is better when everyone already knows this, just give up already

OP is right, chicanos and customers seething lmao

>yes, everyone saw it was fair and square
LMAO

Then what the fuck are Champions League winners, if not European Champions?

Fucking idiot
