>Madrid >"Leftist" The state of Portugal geopolitical comprehension Based
Josiah Diaz
successful people who vote left are cucks.
Matthew Davis
Real blue collar working class has never been leftist. That's just a Marxist fantasy.
Juan Myers
There is a difference between being butthurt and being proud of having an identity that is more than just trophies. Atelti is a club with an actual personality and real fans which is why I always liked them... Reminds me of my own club, Sporting.
Grayson Hill
I know that they are against catalonian independence but the vicente calderon stadium was in a more working class area which got the club associated with leftism by some people.
Adam Garcia
>My entire life revolves around my socially unacceptable far-right politics Get a fucking life you sperg.
Liam King
I dont think Atleti can consider themselves to be the working class club with how much money they have now. If you want to support a working class club in Madrid, go for Rayo Vallecano, Getafe or Leganes now those are true working class/underdog clubs. Vallecano are the left leaning ones while Getafe and Leganes are almost never involved with politics
90s Atletico was basically the equivalent of Donald Trump running a football club.
Luke Price
i dont care if its working class or not as long as its not leftist
Henry Roberts
Sounds epic. Are there political stereotypes about real madrid vs atletico fans in spain? Or is the rivalry more apolitical? i never liked real madrid so i wanna support atleti.
Joseph Johnson
>Getafe or Leganes >supporters
Tyler Davis
Crime rates and open manifestations of poverty decreased dramatically during the first years of his administration but this apparent success was obtained at the expense of civil liberties >cleans up city >wah you weren't nice to the bums and whores fucking liberals
fuck you lampião you will never understand what it's like to proudly stick by your club through thick and thin you can go stick a toupeira up your ass
Chase Ramirez
>Sporting fan >wants to support Atlético cringe and ignorant-pilled
Jeremiah Clark
Atleti are the underdogs just like us. Real is for glory hunters and real football is about passion.
Isaiah Russell
Hey, Leganes actually has nice fans and both clubs are actually planning for the future by reaching out to kids and the sick.
David Walker
i get that what they did with gelson was fucked but i still like the club's identity and mentality of the fans
Nicholas Howard
>benfica never went through a bad period
Asher Parker
You don't know what a "bad period" is until you spend 2 decades without winning the league. I'd like to see your fans stick by the team like we do in the circunstances we face.
I'm happy to support a club whose fans pride themselves on being "different" as they commonly say. That sort of culture within the club is worth a million trophies.
Lincoln Brooks
Is this a low key >please watch our league thread?

the "leftism" extends to being part of a union, that's it
Ethan Scott
I'm not spanish so its not my league, dumbass.
Just wanted to get feedback on atletico from spanish football fans
from their English Wiki >Founded in 1936 by Shmuel Kirschstein and David Horn, who chaired the similarly named Betar branch in Jerusalem. Several team members were also part of the outlawed Irgun and Lehi militias closely associated with the right-wing Revisionist Zionism movement. >The most vocal supporters of Beitar Jerusalem make up the controversial nationalist La Familia group. These fans are well known for their hatred of Arabs and their pride in the fact that Beitar Jerusalem is the only team in the IPL that has never had an Arab player >In 2013 the team signed two Chechen Muslim players, Zaur Sadayev and Dzhabrail Kadiyev. When fans protested, Israeli Deputy Prime Minister Moshe Yaalon condemned the protest as shocking and racist, stating "I was shocked by the racism displayed in the Beitar Jerusalem stands yesterday against having Muslim or Arab players on the team". Fans of the club reportedly displayed a banner bearing the words "Beitar – forever pure" and chanted anti-Arab slogans at a match the day the players were signed, leading to four arrests. On 8 February 2013, 2 fans, Matan Navon and Evyatar Yosef set fire to the club's administrative offices, apparently in response to the signing of Sadayev and Kadiyev
Hmm. Just like Chelsea, and they both play shit football. I wonder if there's a link there?
Christopher Brooks
yeah it would be much smarter for them to vote for corrupt leftists who steal their money and then import the third world to steal their jobs and undercut their wages
It's not about that. You basically want to support a club whose fanbase despises your fans
Owen Wright
They dont give a shit about our fans. Its more Sporting fans that dislike them because of the recent negotiations with Gelson
Grayson Wood
Actually, both Real Madrid and Atlético are right-wing. Real is more "posh style" (businessmen smoking cigars while laughing at poors) while Atlético is more "hooligan style" (wagecucks blaming inmigrants for their failures)
Henry Morgan
All I know is that they were founded by Basques and their nickname is The Indians (red) because they're camped by the river. I don't really think these right or left type of diametrics can generally apply to sports clubs, unless the club is actually part of a political party or something like that. Sure, you could argue the fans are predominantly voting this way or that way but it's making a subjective and irrelevant case, usually.
Matthew Campbell
I prefer the posh cigar aesthetic since i dont like low IQ hooligans but i hate immigrants so i'll take it i guess
Jaxson Morgan
>Real is more "posh style" (businessmen smoking cigars while laughing at poors) So like Sporting except they wins titles.
Ryan James
"Low IQ hooligans" is actually a fitting way to describe most Atletico supporters, but if you hate inmigrants both of them are good for you. Although I don't understand how can you hate inmigrants being a fucking Portuguese. Look at yourself in the mirror, Nuno
Camden Howard
>Although I don't understand how can you hate inmigrants being a fucking Portuguese. Look at yourself in the mirror, Nuno Mate, you're Spanish.
Nicholas Wood
You should probably stop believing in everything the "alternative media" feeds you
Ayden Myers
This Modern leftists (communist Antifa LARPing retards) don't give a shit about poor people in their own country, just poor oppressed immigrants. They've also never seen the inside of a factory or any workplace yet want to seize the means lel
Aiden Harris
> I don't understand how can you hate inmigrants being a fucking Portuguese
Our history is literally just us beating the fuck out of racial minorities in different continents lol
Also i always saw atleti supporters as loyal and not as aggressive as other fans because they are not so negative and support their team even when they lose.
Ethan Gonzalez
you should probably stop watching neoliberal globalist propaganda networks
Evan Hill
I am aware of this

>atleti supporters as loyal and not as aggressive as other fans Loyals to their club, yeah. But that 'not so aggresive fan' had killed two guy in the last ten years.
Juan Barnes
if they killed barça fans its kinda justified sort of ... jk but that sucks i thought of them as a "nicer" fanbase like sporting here in portugal and was under the impression that their fans saw themselves that way too
James Nelson
What does "right" even mean? American retardation really poisoned political dialogue.
Leo Mitchell
>"nicer" fanbase like sporting here in portugal Yeah, the fan base that invaded their team's academy. Absolutely delusional.
Andrew Moore
i knew you'd bring that up. yes hooligans are animals but that goes for any team..
sporting are still the "posh" fanbase in portugal and benfica has the drunks and niggers
Caleb Wright
One was some nobody fan from la real sociedad but they keep clamming the guy was abertzale. The other one was in a battle between frente atletico (right-wing) and celtarras (left-wing). Nothin' was lost here.
Owen Adams
More important, what's the Catholic team? Materialists are all retarded.
Owen James
Please read Gospels, compare all four, and then come and imply Christianity is not huge bullshit.
Adam Wood
Read it until Luke and also read most of John. What are you implying?
Samuel Butler
They weren't Celtarras, they were Riazor Blues. Same shit actually but they would will you if you say that to their faces. Atlético's ultras did the same shit, pic related. >that absolute unit at front >the guy with the "stylish balaklava colchonera" outfit >a fucking argie (?) >El Niño giving zero fucks while massaging his balls
i bet you feel real smart calling others "materialist" lol stfu you can care about politics and religion at the same time.. all teams in spain are basically catholic since its a catholic country
Jeremiah Wood
this picture is hilarious i love it
Elijah Torres
According to the Torrente (Spanish comedies) films it's a club for pro-Franco people.
Politics are a waste of time. It's very unlikely you by yourself can change anything on a state level. The important thing to do is try to live a virtuous life and serve as an example for others.
Jace Kelly
i know that they went full liberal now, but what were they in the past ? national socialist ? (not in the meme way)
I'm implying all four contradict each other terribly, and Mark's Gospel (the earliest one) has some comical errors which make it awfully clear it wasn't written by someone from that region or a contemporary of this Jesus. Shit like going north to a city that's south or crossing a river to end up on the wrong bank, and other hilarious mistakes.
And guess what, following three are all based on Mark. Except their writers didn't give a fuck and just wrote their own fanfic.
Which ultimately means we have ZERO actual contemporary sources about this Jesus, man who met shitload of 1st century regional VIPs, who was acclaimed by whole city when he triumphantly entered it, and whose death and resurrection caused TWO earthquakes, eclipse, and 40 Jewish saints rising from their grave and having a party in Jerusalem.
To actually read this shit in 21st century, and say it's somehow plausible, is either trolling or mental disability. Most usually it's people not reading, and relying on second hand sources or their own idea what Christianity is. This is what it actually is. It's a joke.
You're carrying about minor things. It doesn't matter if they mistook directions, the date or the order of events. What matters is that the events happened, that Christ made miracles and that he resurrected. Basically, what matters is the essence of things. And what do you mean about contemporary sources? There were historians who said he existed at the time like Josephus and even jews confirm he existed. What are you afraid of?
Charles Hall
amo a mi mujer amo a Atleti amo a la virgen amo al Cid amo a Santiago
odio a los guiris odio a los catalanes odio a los musulmanes odio a los panchitos asi de simple
Read the sahih hadiths if you want to know more about Jesus(pbuh)
Kayden Adams
It matters a lot. There is no evidence of Gospel Jesus. Josephus wasn't from his time and his mentions are Christian forgery, probably from 4th century. >afraid of Nothing. But you are.
Christopher Hernandez
Can't argue with someone who arbitrarily cherrypicks what is evidence or not or denies the writings of reputed historians. That's pretty easy when history is not an exact science and it's made hostage by the biases of historians, mainly from those who are too guilty to acknowledge judgment.
Brandon Hughes
let's have a 'what if' session: what if atlético won the CL finals in 2014 and 2016 - how to you think the football world would be right now? about the same?
Leo Cooper
unfortunately that's how most anti-christians argue so you can't really get anywhere with them, aside from exposing their faults
Hunter Russell
basques were prone to bombing people to get independence, and it's a basque only team.
Tyler Watson
Sad state of affairs.
Aiden Clark
pls frens reply to my post
Julian Collins
Same thing desu.
Jaxon Thompson
Me on the left
Justin Parker
True. I doubt most blue collar soviets would identify well with a university Marxist.
Carson Carter
the only thing that would change that is atletico would join the "super teams" nothing more. some clubs would try to replicate their experience and probably would fail.
