Will he be remembered as the first ever 100% asian to win an american championship?

or only remembered for those meme games as a knicks?

Eternal meme, but a good one.

Did he even fucking play in the finals? I don't remember seeing him.

how the fuck was linsanity such a phenomenon? even normies who never watched basketball were getting into it, yelling j-lin like "kobe!" and shit for those 2 weeks. same with jimmer.

He played like the last 15 seconds of game 3 i think

Played like a minute of garbage time. Still more than CP3 will ever play.

Pretty sure asians have won world series.

Remembered for having a ring for ending the GSW meme while Carmelo has none.

That alone is good enough even if he did little.

It was a great story. Americans love a good underdog story. This LITERALLY WHO kid, who had never been drafted, who had been busted down to the G Leagues twice, who was on the verge of being fired, suddenly gets minutes to play for the shittiest franchise ever because the few good players they have are all injured.

And he fucking dominates. He puts up numbers unheard of for his first 6 starts. Jordan didn't start that well. Lebron didn't start that well. No rookie before or since did what he did. And he did it with a team of C Stringers missing their stars, vs other teams including Kobe Bryants Lakers.

If you wrote this as the plot for a movie, people would say it was unrealistic. Like how the fuck is some unknown going to come off the bench and knock down 30 point games. Put 38 points on Kobe? Hit a game winning 3 with .05 seconds left on the clock? You'd be like fuck this writing, this is lazy as shit. There's no buildup. He's a minor character.

jimmer is more popular with chinks than this gook will ever be

wait he put 38 points on Kobe?

What happened to this guy why is he a meme now

He's not an Asian he literally grew up in California.

Because he plateaued. Still a decent bench player at the NBA level, but not a skyrocketing rising star anymore.

He worked really well when the plays were run through him. He meshed perfectly with the Knicks coach at the time, Mike Dantoni. Then Melo threw a fit, Mike left, Jeremy left and has struggled to find a good fit. Also lots of injuries.

And Carmelo had to ruin it all.

He's only good as a ball handler.
Circumstances never allow him to be ball handler for any team again then major injuries kick in.

Before the game, reporters asked Kobe uf he would consider guarding Lin if he got going. (This was in the middle if Linsanity) Kobe went Who is this guy I have no idea who you are talking about or what hes done, basically throwing shade since the whole country, not just basketball fans knew what was going on. By the end if the game, Kobe was trying to guard Lin and had been outscored by him, leading to the Lakers being defeated by the Knicks which is a sentence you dont hear often.

based nba champion adam morrison

he aint got no rings tho

He completely unironically might have got some if he had gotten over his bitch ass and hadn't destroyed the team for the crime of not being centered around him.
