You're not shit, but you're definitely not good either.

Your youth team system is fucking garbage

>shit Youth System
>team is full of MLS players instead of ones that play in european clubs

they are ok, some are qt(the pink headed dyke) but what disguests us in them: they are the embodiment of american twitter users.

also they(americans) unironically mean taht goal record ainst Taiwan deserve celevrations:
>Is the team breaking the record for highest goal differential?
>#USWNT for celebrating a record-breaking moment on the field.
etc

Because Major League Soccer's commissioner and Yes-men staff continue to sprinkle their absolute shitters like Jordan morris, micheal bradley, zardes, and jozy altidore into the NT roster

our U20's are pretty good actually

Because niggers peak physically very early. Why do you think Nigeria dominates the U-17 WCs?

Because you think football is like basketball.
You can't play football in college.
MBappé is 20 and won one WC and 3 French league titles.
Alexender-Arnold just won the CL at tje same age.

Fuck, dude, why did I laugh so hard at this image and flag?

>USA
phftftfhaHAHAHAHA

Why are you so shit? I don't know, dude... lol

People are talking about these friendlies like they are A-games, no Pulisic as well.

We don't know if theyre shit at the moment
the gold cup starts next week

these dumb ass threads are useless

Then you got retards like this who think theyre saying something that we all don't already know.

US soccers youth system is better than fine, if youre actually informed.
MLS and its youth system is much better than fine
US Soccer as a whole is fine.

yes, nothing says fine like missing the first world cup since 1986 by falling out against T&T

nothing says "fine" like aged shitters like micheal bradley and jozy "literally hasnt scored a foreign goal since a game against st vincent and the grenadines" altidore, and literal mongoloid Jordan Morris to the team repeatedly, while kids from europe or EVEN THE MLS. FOCUS ON THIS RIGHT NOW. EVEN KIDS PLAYING IN THE MLS WITH MORE ASSISTS OR GOALS SCORED, are being benched for these starting players currently on berhalters roster

nothing says "we're doing fine" like calling up prospect josh sargent from the U-20 world cup where he would gain valuable experience and help the team from the roster and having him come to the gold cup to play, only to be told he's not actually going to do anything and sent home

nothing says "everything is peaches" like MLS ONCE AGAIN being humiliated by Liga MX and Panamanian bridgebuilders in concacaf champions league

EVERYTHING

IS

FINE

They had a bad qualifying campaign, yes.
And why? because the players were overconfident and didn't take the smaller teams seriously.
Good lesson.

Talent is better than ever. Pool is better than ever.
MLS is better than ever, and doing better than ever in the CL.
There is no arguing against this.

Like I said, Gold Cup is starting this weekend, lets judge them when it matters. If it doesn't go well the coach gets fired.

>Good lesson.

yes, which is why he's starting just about every player on that team again. Omar gonzales? the guy who gave up the own goal? startingg in the back 4. Tyler adams? the (played completely out of position, mind you) backline prospect playing for leipzig? injured and now replaced with a literally who. Micheal bradley? the man who couldnt boss around a midfield against a team of high schoolers? better believe he's starting. JOZY ALTIDORE. JOZY "LITERALLY CANNOT SCORE A SINGLE FUCKING GOAL AGAINST ANYONE NOT NAMED ST VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES IN OVER A YEAR" ALTIDORE IS ONCE AGAIN THE ATTACKING FORWARD

THERE IS NO BETTER TALENT POOL BECAUSE THEY NEVER GET CALLED UP

Attached: 1546059397896.png (680x680, 290K)

Dude, we'll see how they fit in the system.
Omar might fit better in a back center 3.
Jozy may not last long, everyone knows hes on the hot seat, but maybe he'll get more chances under the new system, and maybe (like americans historically do) he'll be better than ever at an older age.
and if the world cup was tomorrow I would put Bradley in the middle surrounded by better runners like Tyler.
the Tyler adams right back idea is a complex one where he moves centrally, maybe it can work nicely - we'll see.
If it works it works, if it doesn't the coach will be fired.
im not worried.

What I don't get is how they were much better during the 2000s. Donovan, Dempsey, McBride, Reyna etc seemed much more talented players than what they have now.

this is the last 10 or so games against other countries we've played

tell me how any of this is a step in a positive direction

Attached: 1534394023118.png (668x350, 31K)

It's literally all SUMS fault

some generations are just better than other
holland and italy went to finals/ won wc and also failed to qualified last year as well
however they obviously faced much better challenges in eu compared to some jokey countries in the bahamas

They were special players, with more heart.
We have more talent now than ever..

Im not worried because we've yet to really see our real starting 11 on the pitch in the new system.
we lost to Jamaica with a team of guys who got cut from the gold cup roster.
we lost to Venezuela without our 5 best players and 5 other experimental players and tactics

>lost to fucking venezuela in this day and age
fucking hell, they barely have enough food to feed their people

Too many sports in the US to compete with for athletes. In the rest of the world, it’s one or two sports and football is usually number 1. In the US you’ve got 4, and football is in 4th place.

It’s bizarre because your entire country is made of Hispanic and European immigrants.

>If it works it works, if it doesn't the coach will be fired.

AND REPLACED BY ANOTHER USSF BOOTLICKER WHO WOULDNT KNOW HIS ASS FROM HIS HEAD. BERHALTER DID FUCK ALL FOR THE CREW, BUT SINCE HE'S THE COO'S BROTHER, HE GOT THE SPOT. WE HAD A FOREIGN COACH BEGGING TO TAKE OVER AFTER ARENA, AND HE WAS REJECTED FOR NOT FALLING IN LINE WITH GARBER. KLINNSMAN IS THE ONLY ONE WHO GAVE THE YOUTH SYSTEM ANY FIGHTING CHANCE IN HELL, AND HE GOT BOOTED BECAUSE HE DIDNT FALL IN LINE EITHER

TELL ME WHO THE FUCK IS GOING TO SUDDENLY LEAD THIS TEAM

Attached: 1536115012440.gif (498x494, 625K)

Our league is 25 years old. Our academies are less than 10 years old for the most part. It's astounding we did as well as we have at the WC This century desu

Imagine thinking we don't have European based players in our starting xi and thinking you're informed enough to co

you're shit because of posters like this

Clueless posts

youre falling for narrative bullshit dude.
there isn't some stupid ass grand conspiracy.

Foreign coaches have famously fucked up in MLS. mostly around not having an understanding for the American player, severely underestimating the talent in the region, etc.
I never loved Gregg, but he was hired for what he did in MLS with a very low budget, and for being unique tactically.

Klinsmann has a better team than Bob Bradley and did just about as well.
Bruce Arena came into the US team during emergency time after they carelessly fucked everything up early in qualifying.
and the US youth system is fine.

We are in a talent dead spot, but the next generation of players is going to be our most talented ever. Right now they are pretty green and too young. If you look at how many academy grads are playing at clubs in big leagues, this is almost impossible to argue. Still probably won't be that good but who knows

>being unique tactically.
playing players completely out of position is not unique

>and the US youth system is fine.
it is, thats why the u-20's are actually winning. too bad none of them(sargent) are seeing the light of say on the actual roster

you have them but your federation will never allow your NT to have a minority of MLS players in it , because they want to promote MLS as much as they can and its holding you back
pic is your current lineup , literally 5 european club players

Attached: current lineup.png (1326x705, 65K)

Bruh you're plain old wrong. We haven't played a competitive match since 2017. The biggest European omission at that point was Danny Williams. Our European players have always been called in because they tend to be the best. Which players that aren't Injured should be on this list? Please tell me.

weah, wood, green, cameron, sargent

Q: Why don't we just hire African and Ukrainian already?

Surely we can give them some VISA for joining US federation.

What I don’t get is why their coach isn’t playing their starting XI in these friendlies. As things stand these players will be playing together for the first time at the gold cup, group stage exit inc.

men: usa is not bad, but the others are far better
women: usa is good, but the others are far worse

not enough BBC power

Weah is at u20s
Wood was bad this year, that's not a glaring omission even if I'd like to see him
Cameron is 33 and played 19 times in the championship. I'd prefer to see him but that's not exactly a glaring omission
Green - that's just fucking silly. He scored 5 goals in 2 bundesliga this year
Sargent is still really a youth player. He should be in u20 but they botched it.

None of them are no-brainers who were criminally omitted. If they were playing regularly in top leagues, they'd be invited.

Zardes is the pride of Bakersfield no bully

Attached: CSUB Fag Game.png (1200x887, 2.05M)

I speak for 80% of the united states when I say soccer is gay as FUCK

Most people don't have a clue how the qualifying campaign works for the USMNT or what games matter, how can you get a solid following for a national team when you can't even explain to Bob Boomer how the tournaments work.

green scored our lone goal against WC champion france, which is more than can be said about then the entire line of forwards berhalter called up can say

If that's your standard rather than overall form and club performance, then surely you think altidores spot is unassailable.

what part of "literally hasnt scored a foreign goal since a game against st vincent and the grenadines" do you not understand

How many matches has he played in since then? Did you fail stats when you took it?

Also, people who actually follow the sport call that "international" not "foreign" you newfag

considering that game was in 2016, quite a few

who the fuck cares

samefag

dumbass

Attached: 1540307376026.png (367x162, 6K)

He's played in two games since is last international goal. Mind you, I'm not arguing for his inclusion. You're an idiot tho

you're completely wrong but I was wrong about when he scored his last goal

transfermarkt.us/jozy-altidore/nationalmannschaft/spieler/39378

I recommend you re-read the link you posted. As you already admitted, you're wrong about the goal he scored. By a full year and by the team. He since appeared in the infamous loss at Trinidad and the loss against Venezuela. Didn't appear in any other matches, as per your own link.

If everyone was healthy, we would have Adams, Boyd, Brooks, Holmes, Horvath, McKennie, Miazga, Pulisic, Ream, and Yedlin. If Lletget was healthy, we would also have Sargent. So 11 in all. Berhalter also talked with Fabian Johnson to see if he would come back to the NT, but he apparently wasn't interested. That would have been 12 European players, plus Steffen who's moving the Manchester City and Gonzalez who was playing in Mexico when he was first called up.
There's no inherent bias against European players, we just don't have enough to fill out our needed positions. Sure, we could call up Lichaj or Geoff Cameron, but we're already strong in their positions, and neither of them are particularly world-beaters. Berhalter gave a shot to Amon, CCV, and Robinson (who plays in a position we need filled), but they all played like shit. Meanwhile, Holmes played well and got rewarded for it.

Because we've already lost several of our most important players (Brooks, Adams, Yedlin) and can't afford to lose any more. Altidore and Pulisic have both had injury problems lately, and Bradley is just getting over one himself. Losing any of those guys would be a massive blow, so playing them in a friendly is an unnecessary risk. I doubt Altidore would have even been given a full half against Venezuela if shit hadn't hit the fan so early. Guyana will have to do as our warm-up for the starting XI.

imagine being this bad at being a fan and posting on Yea Forums YIKES

when was the last time you saw a group of american kids in a park playing soccer or even 5 a side? without parents or any organizing authority?

Anyone that has any athletic capability is quickly snatched up by Football, Basketball, Hockey and even goddamn Baseball.

The only people left to play soccer are the so󠛢󠛢󠛢󠛢󠛢ychild runts and the hipsters. Adding to this is a general lack of cultural interest in the sport, and it also doesn't help that there is little coaching talent in our """""""""""""""""""youth development""""""""""""""""""" system, despite all the resources at their disposal.

lose weight
all of you

7-1

all of these excuses on any social media or on forum that amerifats are making regarding why usmnt is shit compared to uswnt make amerfats look more dumb and fat

>Foreign coaches have famously fucked up in MLS.
Holy shit you motherfucking retarded piece of shit. Gerardo Martino was from Argentina and he won the MLS cup, dumb faggot

MLS

Low key our Latinos are fucking lazy and fat who love playing Xbox.

Not like the hispanics in Colombia or Uruguay that play soccer every weekend with friends.

For me, it's CONCACAF.

Not enough women in your team. Get with the times toxic male scum

>we

gaga

This. Most of the top athletes here in high school play multiple sports and are good at all of them. But most of the time, this doesn't even include soccer. Even if you have a kid who's really great at football, basketball, and soccer, he's going to try to go pro in one of the first two rather than possibly make shit money at an MLS club.

You would really have to spike up interest on a national level(and consistently, not just for the WC) to the point where you can get decent TV deals, and you also need to make t a bigger deal among youth, especially at the high school level. If rural Southern soccer high schools paid half as much attention to their soccer program as their football one, the USMNT would have probably won a WC by now.

how has mehiko never got further than the us in a wc? i don' t understand

we're cursed

J.C. Osorio said it before last World Cup, we need (((powerful athletes))), our indian blood isn't enough to make it until quater finals.

Attached: Negrito.png (512x562, 86K)

Yes you are the true north american GOATS, you sure provee it to the World in Russia

>(((powerful athletes)))
>((()))
I don’t get it. Why’d you post the Jew parentheses?

Whites are the Jews of the 3rd world

Remember when USMNT beat Germany in that friendly? Remember the hype for the USMNT that came and how we were ready to take on the world?

I miss that.

I'll never forget that shit

Remember when we were beating Brazil 2-0 in the Confederations Cup Final. We beat Spain in the semis of that tournament and then we got 1st place in our WC group.

I miss it bros

>those Portugal and Belgium WC games
What happened to all that heart?

How the fuck do >we beat t&t, is it just going to be all up to pulisic. Our defense is way too shit to stop them from scoring.

S-stop. I don’t want to remember, not when things are so bad now

Wasnt that 1930 team like half foreign born players?, basically your teams was the french 2018 team but in an era when ngubus where scottish and british mercenaries

why don't italian americans play soccer? I see more italian surnames in the average NHL team

I think that team has lots of Germans and Italians, back when they still played soccer because they weren’t assimilated.

Dunno, they love baseball here

>a fucking trip advisor

I'm sorry, I just...

OH HO HO HO

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

whens that new canadian league start up?

too much pay

based belgium

Attached: 10200.jpg (450x253, 26K)

>You know remember wondolowski missing that sitter

>franchise setup of the league is anti-competitive
>no relegation means most teams have nothing to play for towards the end of the season
>salary caps deter top talent from uplifting the league and therefore US players
>football is seen as "for girls", so not as many talented athletes are encouraged to play
>size of country makes it harder for fans to get to away games, meaning a football culture is not instilled into kids

Mens soccer here is very different than mens soccer in Italy. It's relatively unpopular here, that's why.

Reminder that the U.S. didn't have at least 50% of amercian players back in 1930, it was more like a scottish colony team and some random european players.

Dude, your obsessed. We get it

Get rid of pay to play youth academies, get rid of the same three jews owning all the teams, get rid of franchises and start to grow the league until relegation is possible

The US needs to seize on football’s anxieties, try to organize a 104 team pro/rel league.

Tier 1: MLS
Tier 2: USL
Tier 3: South/West/North Regional Leagues

Build regional pride in shitters like Birmingham that gives kids a chance to make 200 bucks a week playing soccer.

Only champion of third tier gets promoted, otherwise german style playoffs between bottom 4 teams in first two tiers.

Of course this won’t happen cause the USSF is corrupt as fuck and prefers to invent marketable stars that put up a fight against St Vincent and the Grenadines than a solid XI
